If WW3 pops off it'll be just like if the Cold War popped off (which luckily it didn't)...North America, Europe and Asia will get obliterated. but "the global south" (and especially South America) will be in a fantastic position to become the new global power center

They've been duking it out (as you put it) for a good while now already. I dunno why (and this not directed at you in any way, shape, or form) it seems to have been largely overlooked by people that they've been involved in fighting proxy wars all over the show for the last decade at least. But it's becoming "personal" now (for want of a better word). Syria is a pretty good example of what I'm talking about as a proxy type war between the two of them. The stakes just not having been big enough for one side or the other to totally lose it

And I will check it for spelling and grammar and enure that nothing has been left out and that no single country gets short change and that there are no loopholes that can be exploited in years to come. Dunno to which fuck up you are referring i.e. declarations of war ain't that complicated. My offer to check in this post more appclicle to peace agreements and which inevitiby unravel and end up being the cause for the next war although I'm thinking that if there is a WWIII it'll be the last and that's assuming there's anything left to fight over. Mind you: people will find something. It's innate.

And I could have sworn I posted this yesterday particularly the top part. Obviously forgot to hit the "Post reply" button (and thank fuck drafts seem to be working proper).

Yeah. True story. Apparently most places in the Southern Hemisphere will be spared any initial and immediate obliteration.

ALthough there's been (yet more) (seems that there are more studies going on in the fucking world than there are people on the planet i.e. loads of new experts meaning that everybody an expert on something nowadays studies done on nuclear attacks and by learned people (not just your average Joe Citizen warmonge rshooting from the hip. There seems to be general misunderstanding as to what happens in the event of megaton blasts. Hey maybe they're all wrong. Maybe I am. I don't think that it's make one iota of a difference either way.

Better I save up and buy me a good pair of binoculars or a not too powerful telescope. So that I don't have to rely on the MSM telling me that there is some supa dupa shiny new ICBM or new bomber somewhere up in the skies and I can look for myself i.e. I'd like to know the routes these things will take? Well. Doesn’t this just piss you off. Even Ukraine telling the West to take it down a notch saying there isn’t an imminent threat as there are not enough Russian troops at the border to invade. Somebody is taking the piss seems to me. Meanwhile there are NATO ships en route in the general direction, and Biden still mouthing off, and of course Francs not to be left out and trailing in the dust and wanting to perceived as still relative also trying to sneak a chat in.

So maybe we’re not as close as you think. There’s something amiss in this entire picture
 
Now I've definitely had plenty of turn of minds but never quite that grand and fast a shift from ready for draft to adamant conscienscious objector, which I would be, nobody drafting me.

If nobody would be drafted, there would be no armies.

So I've no wish to join the problem there.

Mind you: Boris seems to be personally staying out of the fray. He got too much explaining to do about the cheese and wine meetings. Now Nigel on the other hand: very vocal where he should be minding his business. Hope he gonna be handing out water wings and scuba gear if necessary.

so yea there's something like 100k Russian troops at the border but the Uke's have 200k troops - so if Russia was about to invade , they'd probably have twice the amount of troops (400k) at the border....not half the amount

i don't think we're close at all

a lot of posturing if you ask me

Sadly. That's true. Not that I'd like to see America nuked to oblivion (mind you: that depends on what mood I'm in or what PC or WOKE shit I've just had rammed down my throat by some American Politician). But they sure do have it down to a fine art seems to me; Simple: find a country where the government or "regime" as they like to call those governments who isn't aligned with America's interests, then find some obscure minority group within said country and who have some abritrary human rights beef, then spur said obscure minority on to make shit (even if that means arming them and financing them) in order to overthrow said government or "regime" even if the latter be democratically elected, and replace said government or 'regime" with one that's more America-friendly. I'm pretty sure that in military terms there's probably a fancy term for that type of operation. I just don't know what it is. And once that's done: they're out of Dodge and the ensuing mess is left to the country (what's left of it) to clean up themselves. And this not a specific, nor tongue in cheek, needle or reference to Afghanistan either i.e. we all know that was a tragedy and a total fuck up. Take this Ukraine shit and all the posturing and mud slinging? And for what? And who egged on the Arab Spring? Anybody notice that shit didn't turn out too well not even for the people that were apparently so downtrodden and who's human rights were being so badly violated (apparently). Now they got all the rights in the world (mainly the right to tell their leaders to go get fucked if the mood takes them) but no fucking jobs or work or food? Makes no sense. Then they gotta expend billions of dollars in aid trying to prop up and rebuild the various resultant fuck ups for decades to come (and which in all probability will never come to an end).

If's a lot of shit if you ask me. And you're probably quite right in your asesssment of the numbers and how each would up the ante. But not too long ago on my other thread I posted a link to an official report from one of Ukraine's own agencies where they were specifically noting that the so-called Russsian troop buildup just wan't an issue while on the same day I could probably have found a half a dozen Western news reports and stories expressing the total opposite. My comment at the time was "well if anybody should have the facts and know what they're talking about then surely to fuck it would be the Ukranians and their government departments and divisions". I think Russia just become a habitual enemy or target (if there is such an thing or term) of the West and all rooted in some past due and dated beefs which are no longer of consequence to anybody.
