I may be proven wrong by science because there is some overlap in the ace2 receptors but in my opinion Canabis use is not a silver bullet vs covid or being anymore helpful than an asprin is. Maybe some relief but not an antiviral contender, I want to be wrong on this but I can't see it.o

I really wish that paper had an animal model for the effects stated. I woulld be interested in seeing if the pharmacokinetics of the cannabinoid acids allow for clinically significant effects in respiratory tissues.

Experiments cell lines are good for illustrating effects, but do not capture a lot of the nuances of whole organisms.

I am 60 this year.

Yeah (wrong thread but who the hell cares), i grew up in Northern Canada where the 60's didn't get there til the 90's.

Seriously the internet saved my life, the ability to communicate with other humans, who also by no choice of their own were being hunted and demonized. Being able to stand up to it and actually have the world stop gave me hope for humanity.

Around the time I was 23 the amount of hurt I received from this world for no reason beyond being born had me on a pretty dark path. But some people braver than I was back then stood up and began to make a huge difference.

Once the rock throwing stopped some of the gay community couldn't stop shouting, sorry about that but yeah, I think we are making a positive difference in society and it should be noted there are other groups society is cutting out for no real reason, maybe by being more inclusive and less fearful those other groups will also enhance society, not undermine it.

I am so sorry. I had friends like that and can't imagine how painful it must have been to carry such a burden of a secret, scared what will happen if it came out. Thankfully our country has changed. We should all be able to live our real self without any worry.

its all got me crazy, im vaxxed(didn't want to) son inlaw got very ill with covid(unvaxxed) daughter vaxxed long ago, got mild covid symptoms with her positive test, she has to get vaxxed working for Kaiser my grand daughter(11 yrs old) got positive test again this morn and has had ccovid 2 times, my grandson(4 yrs old) around all that and no covid, wife and i around them and so far no covid, i dont think im going to do the booster,but its all so strange, confusing as Fukk, shes picking up covid from school, teachers and notifications, other gramma picked up covid im sure from the kids and damn near killed her, hate to say it but yeah, seems school as they say is our petri dish, i dont know what to do anymore
