This isn't completely true...I lived in Hamburg, near the Hauptbahnhof for nearly two years. I picked up the language extraordinarily fast because I told EVERYONE to please correct me if I made a linguistic mistake. Long story short, whenever I encounter Germans now, they recognise my Northern accent.

the entire point of public key crytopgraphy is that only certain parties have the private keys. that's why its an issue when those get shared. without those you got nothing, unless you have a quantum computer to factorise large primes.

but it doesn't come natural to ppl using the English tongue,
just like most Germans can't pronounce the "Th", but just to name an example, I can,
my sisters can, know a bunch of others who can, but still most can't

so it is completely true, I just didn't say it's not possible

i doubt it.

if we break public key cryptography financial institutions will be pissed and you know those guys can act quickly and throw money at problems when it suits them. they're already protecting themselves by using crytographic protocols based on the laws of physics rather than our perception that some problems are difficult in financial centres but we're not at the point where they can survive without it.

they aren't the sort of thing a civil servant can leave lying on a train seat, otherwise i'd agree, just a matter of time.

Because there is an increase in Soccer players suffering heart attacks that we don't seem to have an explanation for, which makes me suspicious that it could be related to Covid or Covid vaccines, so I posted it in the Covid thread.

Because you asked if I was suggesting vaccines were a factor in his death. I am suggesting that they may be a factor.

I am suspicious that it may have been vaccine related if he was vaccinated, and if he wasn't vaccinated then I'm suspicious it may have been covid related.

do you have a link for this. i have seen it claimed loads of times but when i looked i found nothing? (albeit the one you posted today was obvioiusly after that, but i can't find anything on his vaccination status). the only thing i found stated that one of the people who supposedly died due to the vaccines actually died of covid, i posted it in the relevant thread at the time but got no replies.

this suggests the converse to your claim:

granted these are different populations, not stratified by age, whatever, and for a direct comparison we'd need that. but there are several orders of magnitude difference here. the vaccines cause issues some of the time, we all know this, but in terms of absolute risk i can't see how anyone can argue against them. wish we had an actuary in here.

Is there a place where the raw data from this study can be found? When I do the math on what is here it doesn't show a very strong correlation in some areas and because of variations where the correlation seems high it doesn't make sense. They are probably dividing their data sets in groups that don't show an accurate picture.

For example we often don't factor out homeless people with hep C vs homeowners because the grouping while somewhat reflective isn't a good grouping. It would be more helpful to see the actual data.

I personally don't see a mechanic in vaccine technology that may lead to heart issues. I do see this as a possible Covid issue and the virus may be causing a weakening in a lot of people that isn't instantly visible. Despite having an easy time with Covid when I had it I feel like I have aged more in the last 2 years healthwise then ever before. I climbed one mountain only this last summer and there were moments where I had to invoke willpower to push past fatigue and I wasn't even on a rope the climb was so relatively easy. I hope it is 2 years of near motionless life and my body just wants to get back to being busy but it feels like Life as I know it changed to a slower version.
