I have no moral obligation to worry about anyone else’s health. It is not my fault China released a super virus as a means to disrupt the US election and get Trump out of office. Which started the at home voting ballet movement, which ultimately was used to steal the election.
By that logic the government would ban tobacco and alcohol. Millions of preventable deaths every year. The government does not give a fuck about your health they’d rather you die.
It’s not my problem people have shit diets, shit work ethic, don’t exercise, eat McDonald’s all day and wonder why Corona virus is gonna kill them.
It’s not my responsibility to worry about your ability to fight Corona virus, my ability is just fine I had it and recovered.
If people actually gave a fuck organic food would be instilled as the norm, people would stop smoking and eating shit cancer causing foods. But they won’t, and quite frankly that’s not my fucking problem

mate, not being disrespectful, but do you think as a recovering addict you are really in a place to judge? would you be happy about people being comfortable of you dying due to the consequences of your drug use? is your lifestyle perfect now?
also, you can't feed the world on organic food so if you had your way a lot of people would starve to death, as a recovering anorexic i can tell you that is an atrocious way to die. GMO is the only humanitarian option.

No of course not. If drugs kill me I don’t want anyone’s fucking sympathy. It’s not society’s fault I inject drugs, and I don’t expect you to feel bad for me for my choices.
But trust me if you’re on your death bed cause obesity when you had every capability of fixing it, I’m not gonna feel bad for you.
This life we are responsible for our outcomes. Maybe I’m luckier than most or I got a damn good guardian angel having should have died 9000 times over, but I didn’t ask for such fortune. Often I think death would be easier. I’ve lived a fucked up 27 years. I did a shot ans overdosed driving 70 on the highway unseatbelted and didn’t have a scratch on me as I played pinball off of other cars and rails.
People don’t survive the things I have. Is that my fault? Should I feel bad?

To say that I am in anyway responsible for this pandemic is bullshit.
It is NOT my fault the world leaders decided combining bat viruses and HIV should be combined and studied.
Mankind was doomed from the start. Why isn’t China being held responsible? Why aren’t we sanctioning them and going to war? They intentionally released this virus, how the fuck is it my fault your grandma is gonna die?
When I had Corona I did my 14 day quarantine never leaving the house. To say any of this is my fault is fuckin crap.

this is just incorrect. sars-cov2 is not even in the same genus as HIV, covid primarily impacts the respiratory system, whereas HIV attacks the immune system. can you not even come up with a coherent conspiracy?
the WIV have done some dodgy shit but this virus is not man made and i highly doubt it was released intentionally. it may have been a lab leak, but its unlikely according to people who collaborate with researchers at the WIV.
if you transmit a preventable disease that you made no effort to prevent to someone who then dies, it is your fault.

I can focus on keeping a needle out of my arm and that’s about the best I can do. The world is a much safer place when I’m not using drugs.

I do feel bad for what I’ve done. I do feel remorse. I understand drugs have made me do bad things. In fact I saw an article a drunk driver killed a family and I thought what a scum bag. And it’s only by the grace of God that wasn’t me.
I do look at intentions when people do wrong, it’s never intentional a driver crashes under the influence
It still isn’t OK. I do feel remorse. I did a year in the worst jail in the country, don’t worry I’m reformed

I can see where you're coming from mate and life hasn't exactly been a bed of roses for myself either. I have many gripes against the world, the establishment and people in fuckin general.
I'm not 'fit' - I'm in my late 50s, smoke too much, drink too much, have decades of drug abuse under my belt and the only exercise I get is at work. I've also had Covid and although it was fuckin weird, it was a walk in the park compared to some illnesses I've had.
However, I've been vaccinated, wear masks everyday and don't believe it's a government conspiracy.
You do what you can to survive mate, and risking your own survival because you don't feel a responsibility to others seems counterintuitive to me.

i have spent 6 months of this year studying the covid genome professionally. not once did i see this claimed in any research papers and my own analysis of the covid genome has not revealed this. i do microbial metagenomics for a living so have a better than lay understanding of viral evolution, phylogeny, etc.
i think you need to get your information from better sources. why don't you link me the paper instead of telling me to look it up?

download the sars-cov2 fasta (i.e. nucleotide sequence) from here:
and use something like fastv with the relevant kmer collections and genomes - i.e. HIV and SARS-COV2, throw in a few other viruses if you're curious. i think this should be doable on any reasonable PC but i'm not sure as i use a specialised bioinformatics rig with 400GB RAM and 72 cores.
if you can't do it on your own machine, just enter the accession number (NC_045512) directly into here:
see if HIV comes up. it doesn't. take any subsequence and see if it maps to HIV.
