Conspiracies The Covid Narrative

The rules are the rules picking and choosing doesn’t work. Then staff get accused of playing favorites and shit. I have seen that happen back in the day and it sucked.

What needs to happen is everyone needs to take a deep breath and calm down please.

@Pumpkin2021 said it well. Although I do go off and call people assholes from time to time… Well, I have room to improve. Personally, I don’t mind a little bit of jokes on me stuff. As long as I get that it’s not serious or the person really doesn’t have an issue with me. If someone took the time to put together an insult with emojis I’d probably chuckle and then message them about it, but that’s how I operate.
Well unfortunately (or fortunately) my opinion dosent mean shit, so yea..it’s your guys site to run how you see fit

A member of Anonymous hacktivist group told me that pretty much 20 years ago.
What did they refer to Covid-19 as? Were they referencing disease that would occur in the near future, or was your post a direct quote?

Pointing out in a thread that someone called you an asshole now means I have to do a search for those threads and snip them. There is no bias at play here. You can't not report stuff and then complain that the stuff you didn't report doesn't get modded. Maybe you want people to call each other assholes. The thing is, most people don't. I certainly don't. This is a harm reduction forum. There are a lot of people who are depressed and anxious and/or high/withdrawing. The pandemic has been hard for everyone. I don't think it's helpful calling people assholes or telling an educated woman that she's drunk on wine coolers and chasing people with a rolling pin. That's like something Ron Burgundy would say. You knew it was going to offend her. That's why you said it.

I don't have time for this. Got to go to work.

EDIT: Just realized you're talking about posts outside of CEPS. Hooray! I don't have to deal with it. ;)

That sucks...but you have to read all of my posts now just in case i say something offensive....im gonna start making them really long and winded just for you :)

I think the real question will be in the Spring if and when boosters become more widespread.

The 2nd question is globally the pandemic isn't over, yet in first world countries you can basically say that its over. Or the government's attitude is that its over. Yet, economically we are in are in a deep shithole (Or at least I am :D).

Interesting positive outcomes due to COVID19: basically eliminated cold/flu. I've never felt better. I haven't had a fever in years (?) and any sort of stomach flu or massive green snot coming out of my nose (Having worked in retail the last few years, feeling like crap was basically a daily occurrence).

The amount of pointless society BS has been killed off. Beyond buying food, I really don't have to interact with anyone that I do not want to interact with. So tbh this so called vaccine passport is basically useless unless I want to see Dune in a movie theatre or go out to eat, which is NON-ESSENTIAL! I don't have to leave my house. And the reward system is dead, because there is basically nothing left to buy...all this time I have been consoling myself with DRUGS and useless plastic shit and whatever else and all of that is so pointless its laughable.

Healing a global pandemic: I would say no, because I have 2 different doses of a vaccine, one of which is the AZ and is not recognized the US, so I can literally cannot travel to the US. Um, no. We basically have to wait in Canada for all the people who don't have the vaccine to die, etc. or numbers to go down (?). Internationally, I look at Africa and until there is a majority vaccinated, the pandemic isn't over. I mean people are dropping like flies in Russia, so healing the pandemic not so much...

Global control system? Um, a lot of people are dying in Russia so I guess its not that much of a control scheme. And for the various reasons above it ain't much of a system. Basically the support stimulus has run out, so now is the real game of whether we are truly in a Depression that was propped up by the government...or something else. Is this truly The Decline?

I think thru the scanner darkly I find the government strangely inept. Its like they had the chance to come out for the big win but fucked it all up and now we aren't even going to to the Championship, its just a cold shower and a lifetime of thinking what could of been. Is there an Echo or is it Bust all the way?

I was thinking of the Bruce Cockburn song...

I watched DUNE after my 12 hour rotation at the hospital on shrooms loooool. The entire time i was trying to comprehend what is going on. It ended and I was so confused hahaah

Okay, I indiscriminately deleted the off topic posts (including my own posts and posts by other mods / smods). I had to cut posts that I saw real value in from both sides. Apologies. Don't take it personally. I'm just trying to be consistent. Let's keep it on topic. 👍

"He showed up at the vaccination hub with a silicone forearm, thinking he was fooling the health workers - who didn't fall for the trap - and get the Green pass without the vaccine. It is a suspended health worker for 50 years and the man has now been reported to the carabinieri and the ASL will report the case to the prosecutor. It happened yesterday in Biella, in a vaccination center with direct access for the first doses. "The case borders on the ridiculous, except that we are talking about a gesture of enormous gravity, unacceptable in the face of the sacrifice that the pandemic is making the whole community pay", underline the governor Alberto Cirio and the councilor for health, Luigi Icardi.
Although the silicone application was very similar to real skin, the color and the perception to the touch made the healthcare worker involved in the vaccination suspicious, who then asked the person to show their entire arm. Once discovered, the 50-year-old tried to persuade the operator to turn a blind eye. «The promptness and skill of the operator have ruined the plans of this subject who will now answer to justice - add Cirio and Icardi -. Our thanks, on the other hand, goes to all the health workers who have been continuously engaged in our vaccination campaign for months without ever lowering attention and professionalism, starting with those who acted promptly this evening in Biella,

So - based on that logic - brain surgery is a medical crime?
NO because we accept the risks & KNOW the dangers of it.

This Mrna stuff is STILL on a Medical Emergency Licence & Dr Robert Malone who was the main guy behind Mrna has said millions of times to NOT take it.

"We're never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it."
If people listened to how some of these FDA advisory committee members discuss vaccinating small children they would be horrified.

@Zopiclone bandit

I hear what you're saying.

I just think it's a stretch to say this is criminal.

In Victoria, currently, the government is discussing backtracking on their (some might say insane) rules.

I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world - our mundane domestic virus restrictions are boring enough - but it's fucking crazy here and (honestly) I hate it.

@chinup said she's happy to wear masks forever or something like that.

I intended to respond, but I don't think I ever did. I have holes in my memory because I consume a ridiculous amount of alcohol and weed. I hate these blank spots. I can't trust myself. It's like that film that guy made before he became a pretentious douche bag: Memento. (I was trying to remember the title while typing that sentence because I'm getting increasingly drunk now.)

I woke up the other day with a massive blister on my foot. As soon as I stepped out of bed, it was like a bolt of lightning. My big toes on both feet have "fused" apparently. Neither of them can bend anymore.

I worked for 10 hours today on that foot, then I came home and deleted a bunch of posts. I felt dirty doing it, because I criticized @cduggles and others for doing the same thing.

I don't wear masks about 50% of the time when it is required by law for me to wear them.

I work in healthcare. We are technically required (while inside a residence) to wear apron / mask / face shield / gloves / goggles.

Nobody wears that shit.

Nobody.

The rules are fucking insane.

There are "green zones" where you don't have to wear anything. If I'm in the office, I can interact with other staff members with no mask on... but, when I'm in a residence I'm supposed to wear a fucking hazmat suit.

What is truly crazy is this: when you take the clients out into the community, there are no PPE requirements.

This is all half-assed - yes - but the world is tired.

The vaccines are imperfect. What else do you expect, honestly?

We're doing the best we can.

@chinup

I've been wearing masks for almost two years now.

I don't want to wear them anymore.

Enough is enough.

that's fine. i don't expect everyone to do the same and i can completely see that they would get annoying if you had to wear them for longer. i work 100% remotely but if i was having to wear one 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, i'd be fecked off.

so its just when i'm in public transport, shops, or at my endless medical appointments. i.e. a much smaller proportion of my time.

i also have a couple that supposedly protect the wearer (but they were tested against flu so may in fact do no such thing for covid) which i had stopped using after my second shot. i am planning on wearing those again for the time being, they're a lot more annoying than the other ones i have been wearing. i might see if there's some better ones that have actually been validated against covid and aren't as annoying to wear.

sorry to hear about your feet, stuff that makes walking hurt is the fucking worst.

@chinup

Yeah, I'm actually holding off taking a job until the restrictions change because the shifts are 13 hours long and I just can't do it with the PPE. The aprons they give us at work don't breathe. It was thirty degrees (Celsius) the other day. Staff were literally mopping the sweat from their bodies a couple of times an hour.

urgh that's fucking awful. are you allowed to source your own PPE? or is somehow being breathable mutually exclusive with qualifying as PPE?

i could not do that. out of the many idiotic things i'm allergic to, my own sweat is one. i'd get intolerably itchy very quickly. there definitely needs to be some compromise to make these jobs tolerable, and my understanding is that its transmitted through breathing. so i'm really not sure what an apron does? other than make your employer look like they're taking it seriously i guess. but is there any evidence base for aprons?

The apron does nothing. The weird thing is, every house has it's own rules. Each supervisor is idiosyncratic in the way they approach things. So, some houses you wear the apron, but no gloves. Some houses, you wear the gloves but no apron.

They all know it's bullshit and they cannot commit to it 100%. I constantly catch staff not wearing masks and they're scared. They apologize to me and I'm like fuck that. Don't apologize.

The same thing happens in public. There was a guy on an elevator the other day in Chadstone. I was wearing a mask and he wasn't. He acted ashamed, like he'd done something wrong.

Nobody wants to do any of this. We are all just afraid of the government. That is, honestly. what I think.

I can't lose my job but I also can't abide by insane rules that make absolutely no sense.

I can source my own PPE, but they won't pay for it. We had good aprons at first, then they ran out the budget because they're fucking idiots and now we are wrapped in plastic.
