You didn’t get Pfizer, did you?
edit: you have to “click to expand” to get the joke.![]()
I still don't? haha (probably me being slow, though?)

I got Pfizer, and I find your symptoms, particularly the super herpes, troubling. So just hoping my second injection doesn’t cause rectal prolapse or anything.I still don't? haha (probably me being slow, though?)

And someone just read the top of your post and thought I was dumping on someone with serious symptoms. But I wasn’t.![]()
Damn, see how we flip? My answer was originally a fairly positive negative to getting the vaccine.
Now we gone get our second dose tomorrow. Was gonna change my vote but glad I cannot as it is revealing in a way.
I wasn't gonna get it because of the failures and cover-ups of these past failures. Also, I am not a fan of big pharma (which may have contrived this whole thing to make profit - another thread), our governments or that sob trying to get the proper shot in my arm without shaking like in DTs (no disparagement on those who go through this). But after SO decided to get it... I said F-it, if she goes I will have a better chance at going with her than if I do not. I know this is twisted logic but reason has nothing to do with it.
So, there.
They took my health insurance information, and I’m sure they billed them. I don’t know if they would have charged me if I wasn’t insured, but I know at least at certain places some uninsured people were vaccinated for free.I live in the UK where healthcare is free so there is no "Big pharma".
Wait...in the U.S. do you have to PAY for your covid vaccine? 'Cause if so, that is crazy.

Big Pharma is equally prevalent, pervasive, dominant, active, controlling and dictating in the UK as anywhere.
It just appears very differently on paper and by practice. It’s just more subtly tied up and written into the fabric of society and the system as a whole.
Big Pharma.....supply the “medicines” in the UK, and train the Doctors, no less than in the USA. Fact.
Not much beyond that counts regarding the Allopathic establishment, which I have always seen as having a very strong corroboration and identical ideology as Britain, vs say, India, a good few years ago too.
But you know what? Plagues spread. Given time and opportunity, the “brand” would spread very far and wide.
Not that I am aware of. She has insuance and they took her info. I had none and it didn't matter but they wanted state ID to ensure we were not feom elsewhere "jumping the lime" I suppose. They filled it like any other Rx... got the insert and all but failed to read it.Wait...in the U.S. do you have to PAY for your covid vaccine?
I think the way it works is that insurance companies are being billed if you have one, but you can get vaccinated for free if you don’t. So, no; it is freely "given" but unsure of the actual cost(s) at present or future time, if any.
And "big pharma" rulz tha world iirc. Used to be oil... maybe they go hand in hand?

Precisely. That was part of my meaning. But it’s beyond even that-money- ultimately.correct - they just get paid by the government instead
you guys get taxed way more in the UK
so you're still being robbed by the same criminals as we are

I have health insurance but didn't report being insured in order to avoid red tape. I believe that either way it's free however.
My girlfriend and I might be experiencing an adverse reaction to the moderna vaccine. We had the second shot about 4 weeks ago, but after moving to a new house (which required prolonged and sustained physical exertion) a week ago we both seem to be experiencing what appears to be vestibular neurolgia. Symptoms primarily consist of vertigo of a moderate severity and some cognitive fog (word formation difficulty etc). I feel like the exertion and lack of sleep precipitated this. I started myself on a short course of methylpred and now have myself and my girlfriend on a course of valacylclovir just in case there is a viral origin (which could be the case given that the odds of us experiencing an adverse reaction to the vaccine at the same time is somewhat questionable). My ENT friend thought the logic was sound. Who knows what is actually going on though.
My girlfriend is getting billed for her tests even though they're supposed to be free. or, "maybe" she'll have to pay. it's super weird.
Hey I’m sorry to hear that initially man. I talk braaaash on this in stark contrary view, very insensitively at times.I have health insurance but didn't report being insured in order to avoid red tape. I believe that either way it's free however.

Maybe most people but not me.
Never paid a penny of tax in my life.
And the amount of serious health problems I have and time spent in hospital and list of meds I'm on would have cost me tens of millions of dollars in the U.S. But all of it was free here.
[I'm not a tax-fraud or on unemployment benefits or anything; I've had severe mental health problems all my life so never been able to work].
