I live in a BIG city...

Exactly.Acquittal: Riots in major cities
Hung Jury: Riots in major cities
Guilty: Riots in major cities
Riots are pretty much baked in at this point IMHO.
Agreed.I watched hours of the actual trial (not the excerpts) and there is no way that I would vote not guilty if I were a juror despite the fact that held no opinion prior to watching.
However I don't believe that a manslaughter conviction will satisfy the protestors.
Not saying it's right or wrong, just predicating what I believe is inevitable ...![]()
No. It is basic common knowledge that if you are on trial you do not testify.
president trump said:“You see the mob takes the Fifth...If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”
Is the Welfare and government assistance they get not enough?*off topic*
For some people, reparations are the only path forward. To these people, the US government owes black people a lot of money and they will not be silenced until blacks receive full compensation for slavery plus interest.
Unfortunately, the time for reparations has long since passed. If reparations were ever going to happen, they would’ve already been paid immediately after the Civil war. It’s too late to retroactively give freed slaves their 40 acres and a mule. Any reasonable person wouldn’t even know how reparations would even look now.
My post was deleted for being off topic for me saying I like tubgirl’s post? How is that off topic?
Chauvin did not take the 5th as is his right and it is best to never testify in your own trial.it's not 'basic common knowledge' at all.
defense lawyers will advise their clients to appear or not appear in their own defense based on which they think gives them the greatest chance of acquittal. chauvin's defense felt - for reasons at which we can only guess - that his not appearing gave them the best chance to win.
jurors should not make any assumptions about a defendant exercising their rights under the fifth amendment but it is inevitable that some people see it more as a sign of guilt... e.g.

A lot went to the then newly created Liberia, so that counts as reparations as well.Where are the 40 acres and a mule? That’s what was originally planned as reparations for freed slaves.
*sorry off-topic*
Chauvin did not take the 5th. He just did not testify at all.
I am confused.

Good enough for me mail3volent, thank you for your hard work in moderating. It was deleted because it was part of a larger series of posts that was removed for being off topic. It's common practice to remove any posts that reference another post that has been removed. With the other posts gone, your post no longer makes sense and it has no purpose.
