All I can say is I used to think America was the best country in the world and when I was younger if my kids hadn’t come when they did I would probably be living there now

Trump also finally acknowledged the end of his term, acknowledged Biden won and committed to an orderly transition.

Even Lindsey Graham broke with Trump last night.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who has aligned himself closely with Trump, said in a fiery floor speech late Wednesday that he had tried to support the president but "enough is enough."

"Trump and I, we had a hell of a journey. I hate it being this way. ... All I can say is count me out. Enough is enough. ... We've got to end it," Graham said.

That's not a guarantee. Congress can choose what penalty to apply, it doesn't have to include disqualification from office.
 
well @JGrimez the day is almost upon us.

i'd like to propose that, after the loser publicly posts that "you were right and i was wrong", they have a day or two to contact any bluelighters with whom they would like to remain in touch before leaving bluelight forever as agreed.

If he does show back up, it better be just to organize contacting people he wants to stay in touch with. I'd say that's pretty reasonable. But anything last that and he's broken the deal.

Personally my guess is that he will initially keep his end of the deal. But over time he will find a way to convince himself that it's unfair, then he will rejoin under a new name.

If he proves me wrong though I'd say that's worth a lot of respect.
 
The countdown is over. I'm not sure what happens to this thread now. And I'm not a direct ceps mod so it's not really my call.
