I have simply never been a betting man my friend. By nature. It just always, to me personally, with respect to others, I know it is just pure good fun and jest.

Anyway, I am not asking you to take me seriously. I am already betting, no strings attached, by my posting and comments.

It is not a matter of courage or conviction, or pride and confidence.just to me personally it has felt a petty indeavour.

But @alasdairm whatverver DOES happen, I really hope you can consider not leaving here, in such an (apparently) impossible eventuality.

It's been hilarious watching trump and his supporters deny the obvious.

And seriously these are the same people who said for 4 years that there was no chance that trump would lose. Who have repeatedly said the courts would throw out the election.

I think anyone with their eyes open can see how much credibility you guys have left at predicting the future.

Well, that would make me sad however little we see eye to eye at times . There is alway a choice. I personally would have so much respect for you ( and this is all entirely hypothetical now of course lol ) if in such an unlikely reality you would be the bigger man in my opinion and say look it was a silly bet I like this forum and other people appreciate me here it would be stupid to Sacrifice something on worthlrss grounds.

I don't see it as a case of keeping or losing principal for example but rather I think that our understanding and perception of true principle can change and it takes courage to admit this and act upon it.

Anyway that's all I will say. I do hope you don't leave though without this world

I'm so glad trump lost. Hopefully soon this continued national embarrassment can end.

I mean it's probably unrealistic to roll space force back into the air force space command. But we can at least maybe stop adding new embarrassments to it.

As much as I despise the trump admin I fully support the importance they place on the space race. Can you imagine how much of a irreparable tragedy it'd be if the Chinese end up being the ones to discover life on Titan or Europa

Except this has nothing to do with that.

This is just about the air forces existing mission to protect America's satellites, and making it bigger and wasting more money because trumps brain went "ooooh, space force, that's a great name! I gotta do that!"

Christ he even wanted a department of space force. At least the adults told him no on that one.

You know you can't even join space force right? You can't go out and enlist in the space force. You gotta join the airforce and if you happen to have the right qualifications or are otherwise needed you can transfer.

Because it's not something that needs to be a dedicated branch. And only became one because the president wanted it and wouldn't take no for an answer.
 
Clean up the garbage in outer space orbiting earth. They got to make sure there ain’t no shit on their face b4 new domain. But that ain’t the easiest thing to do.

I have proposals to legislate and mint for cannabis, psychedelics, etc but there’s only a few good senators and congressors that would consider. Anyway it puts e federal reserve back to Americans and allows education credit for work. Puppets and clowns won’t drain the swamp. Boo
 
What I’m saying is I have an agenda that neither trump nor Biden would consider until the bubble bursts causing emergency. So space force is debt spending.

If there is one thesis that this disease outbreak has disproved (IMO) it's the "Trump as potential Hitler" thesis lol.

A development like this disease outbreak, with the associated fear, danger & uncertainty among the general public, is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to consolidate power and our circus hitler pretty much sat around on his hands while it ravaged this country. Ultimately I think Trump just likes the aesthetics of dictatorship but doesn't have the vision or work-ethic to actually do it for realz. All of his and his campaign's activities post-election have just been sad and pathetic.

Oh yeah. I think we really dodged a bullet. If trump was just a little smarter I think we'd have been seriously fucked.

Instead he's a narcissist and he isn't capable of acting in his own long term interests if it doesn't also stroke his ego.

you said suicides and overdoses surpassed COVID deaths - can you support that with some numbers and your source(s) please?

Principles. I’d feel if drugs were legal we’d have fewer ods. Ami off topic? Shit. Well there are gaps in my agenda. Sorry allistair.
 
I just checked. Overdoses and suicides together for 2018 looked like roughly 100,000. So 3 times less than covid.

No I'm not posting sources the Trump supporters just ignore them. Everyone else will Google themselves anyway.

I never post sources anymore they're pointless. I just make arguments based on reason instead. They ignore that too but it's a lot more interesting than just hearing fake news over and over.
