Apologies. I misunderstood you. Thanks for letting me know.

Trump isn't perfect. Not by any stretch of the imagination. But given my experience in the business here's my take below and criticism and input is welcome.

A rip roaring stock market doesn't automatically translate to jobs on the ground. Forcing American companies to bring production back to the USA does. And a rip roaring stock market favors only a select few. So there Trump's rhetoric on the subject was just that i.e. rhetoric for consumption by the ill informed. Fact of the matter is: the only thing the stock market cannot handle is uncertainty. The Dow took off in 2016 the very moment the election results were published and went up in an almost straight line. But the rub is that it would have done exactly the same had Hillary won. That's just the nature of the beast. Now what would be a perfect situation in my opinion: all American business is brought back to America and stocks could then reset and become representative of the actual state of affairs of the economy. Trump could have accomplished that given enough time. I truly believe that. And speaking personally: I'd rather not have the Dow at record highs every other week but with more people employed than record highs favoring but a few.

One other scenario (and that I've seen play out so many times it's not funny): you can never be sure just how much the stock market knows before we do. To the point of it sometimes being uncanny. So what to make of the current levels and exuberance? Who knows.

I suppose in summary (of a really enjoyable day and some really nice civil interaction between us all especially given the subject matter and for which I'm grateful to all for i.e. was a nice break for me as I've not been actively posting for a while): he (Trump) may not be the nicest or most popular person on the planet. But I do believe that his goals and ambitions for America were patriotic and his heart was in the right place (and I believe still is although I reckon right now he's pretty pissed and vengeful but that MAY pass although nothing I would bet on with my own money).

I don't know how anybody in their right mind could possibly depend Trump's disinfectant comments. That was one of the most insane things he ever said. I've had conversations with people peaking on multiple tabs of acid that make more sense. He didn't say to inject it. The MSM pretty much always twists everything he says (or takes it out of context) to make it look worse than it is, but what he said was beyond moronic.

Billy Madison actually makes more sense in this scene:

Great post. Well said.

Exactly. You really don't need to be a doctor to understand that disinfectants work by KILLING SHIT.

Which means they work great outside the body, but you most certainly can't use them to make anything better inside the body.

Fuck knows why the media distorted what he said when what he said was already moronic anyway. Probably just to make it easier to follow in a single sentence. Cause people hate any information that takes any longer than that to process.

The MSM and the left (including Biden) have lied about practically everything Trump has said throughout his entire presidency.

it’s a good indicator of where Trump’s intelligence actually lies

Trump is highly intelligent, he just doesn't give a fuck about COVID (which, don't get me wrong, is not a good thing). During that conference, he was pretending to care. He said something without thinking about it, so it looked like he was involved. I honestly think that politicians shouldn't be in control of the pandemic response in any country. In Australia, the state and federal politicians argued with each other constantly. Dan Andrews shut down Victoria so harshly because he had to in order to protect his career. Self-interest and disinterest have fucked up numerous efforts worldwide to contain this virus... Having said that, Sweden's response was spearheaded by the state epidemiologist and they failed too. So I dunno, maybe some level of failure was unavoidable?

Trump is NOT highly intelligent.

He's not as stupid as some people think he is either, but he's hardly anything special in the intelligence department.

Some level of failure btw indeed almost certainly is unavoidable. But there's acceptable levels of failure and unacceptable levels and America is well into the wrong side of that.

earlier this year, white house press secretary kayleigh mcenany promised, clearly and simply "i will never lie to you. you have my word on that."

i guess she forgot that pledge. today she tweeted this:

"More than one MILLION marchers"

complete, absolute and utter bullshit. it's hard to get accurate crowd size numbers but the national park service issued a permit for up to 10,000 people and even the most generous estimates cap the crowd at perhaps 30,000 maximum.

there are not enough facepalms.

i guess the trump presidency is ending the same way it started - a ludicrous lie about the size of a crowd...

The picture they posted is of Cleveland Ohio after the Cavs won the championship.... Pathetic.

Trump is highly intelligent relative to Biden. He would be well above the average level of intelligence in the US, although that's not an extraordinary feat. ;)

Sweden falls into the wrong side as well, surely, and their response was run by the state epidemiologist.

Nobody has any evidence of either of their IQs. You have no idea and I have no idea. You asked me a silly question so I gave you a silly answer.

I was just stating my opinion about who I think is smarter based on my observations. Obviously I can't prove it. If that means I have no idea, then neither do you.

Biden is clearly a moron. If you disagree, I really don't care. I'm sure you can't provide hard evidence to support all of your opinions.

I'm curious why people think Trump is intelligent. There is definitely a lot of people who believe this, but all I see is an antisocial man who learned to skirt societal norms and rules and is an expert at gaslighting people into believing how amazing he really is and his twisted views of reality.

Thanks for fucking up my morning. I started this post out lightheartedly something along the lines of that I like ( 😜 ) Kayleigh and I'm almost tempted to see if my Twitter account is still valid. But she's missing bits. I never knew that. So she isn't the second best looking American woman on the planet then. Pity. She does have spunk though I'll give her that.

Back to reality...

For the sake of my own interest: which picture is which? The first picture on her feed is a split screen (Fox News). But if you scroll down there's another (complete) picture of the exact same venue. Both, however, were Tweeted on the same day by her. So which is which? Each picture tells a very different story.

This comment on her feed stands out though (by Mark Levin of WABC) (anybody here love and miss and remember Don Imus?):

"Funny how these vaccine announcements are made by these companies just days after the election."

The conspiracy theorist in me cannot help but wonder if there's a money trail linking Biden et al to these big pharma. companies? Or maybe (wouldn't this be funny): it's a Republican trump card (no pun intended) i.e. insurance so as to influence the Electoral College just in case things went pear shaped!

I think people underestimate him and I think he knows that and uses it to his advantage. If I were asked to sum him up in one word then the word would be "shrewd". Just saying (personal opinion obviously).
