Its way to earlier to say anything about their vaccine. This is still early trials and no long term data at all. It will be at least another year before we know if it is safe to get and it actually provides immunity for a long enough time. This is the first vaccine based on mRNA a new cutting edge approach that will either be some saving grace or burn and fail.
Pfizer designed this trial to suceed. they need an EUA and be first in the States because the storage and transport this tech needs is shit, They know exactly what they are doing, other people also know exaclty what Pfizer are doing too. it is there in the protocol if you want to read it.
would another way of putting it be to say they mostly do what they’re asked if there’s a sense that it’s the right thing to do for the good of everybody, even if there’s a cost or a burden to themselves?
I always have to wonder, if Trump was a good public role model for following the science and good social distancing practices, how much different our country would look right now.
No matter what else Trump did, no matter what anyone can argue for his strengths or accomplishments, his behavior and leadership facing the pandemic was irresponsible and forever unforgivable.
With all that said, I’m glad to see Pfizer’s early data suggest a 90% efficacy rate, that’s excellent news.
To Trump's credit I think he reaffirmed my belief in the news media being a waste of space and politics even more so. I think the US presidency has become a joke, or maybe it always was a joke. I think what's scary is that people honestly believe Biden is better. At least Trump was transparent, he was nothing more than some New York real estate hack who became a celebrity. Biden isn't. Biden is 100% pure politician who maybe has convinced himself that what he does isn't a lie. Either that or he is a puppet. The only good thing about Biden is that when I turn on the TV, and he's speaking, his speech is going to be prepped and Trump isn't going to read some crap off a piece of paper like he is telling the class his report in Grade 4. This isn't going to end well folks.
I think it is our choice to wear a mask or to not wear a mask. Looks like I am wearing one NOW. Bend over, here it's now coming at you .
Keep the immune system healthy and try to stay safe. We have to keep making a living. Facts.

If trump had taken the pandemic seriously. If he'd actually gone "shit, there's a crisis and I'm president, it's my responsibility to try and protect the American people" and actually listened to good advice about how to do that.
You mean, by the same logic....if the Chinese had not released this virus, by accident or plan, in the first place...he would have won by a landslide.
That is one of the original, primary objectives of the hoax about how prevalent, and problematic the virus is, across the wider board of society.
Stats and figures, plus the actual PCR test itself, now in mass, is all a sham scam.
Hence it's release at this point in time.
But it has been conjectured, that the intention was to release it in America first to destroy the economy, to stop Trump winning, but possibly leaked out in China early, before magically, making it's way....Everywhere!
So Trump had a headstart. So they have had to work extra hard to pull out all the stops to so desperately try and pull this off.
Any which way- no sudden, highly convenient covid outbreak....Trump re-elected!

Not all of us believe that the pandemic that had been predicted would eventually happen for decades and that the scientific community thinks is natural was made in a lab.
Also, even if it was deliberately released, it wouldn't have hurt trump if trump weren't so horrendously incompetent.
It's hardly a good defense to say "oh but he would have won if the enemy hadn't taken advantage of his enormous incompetence!"
I always have to wonder, if Trump was a good public role model for following the science and good social distancing practices, how much different our country would look right now.
I think his point is basically that trump would have won if China hadn't used trumps criminal incompetence against him by creating a crisis he was never gonna be able to handle.
No my point, which I basically detracted from myself, and made obscured by divulging into different, separate, and for some very questionable aspects of the situation....
My point is, and I think it is actually a logically unbiased valid One worth considering in some sort of context- if there had not been an outbreak of the virus in the first place leading up to the election regardless of Trump's Handling of the situation and whatever any individual believes about the necessity of the imposed and recommended measures and credibility of the scientific advisors etc...
Regardless of all of that if this outbreak had not happened then trump would likely have won very convincingly.
That really was essentially the point I wanted to make but I just cannot help being myself and expressing my true feelings and thoughts on matters even if it makes me a stockable ridicule.
Maaybe... but ok, say this crisis hadn't happened. It's generally the case that at least one crisis happens during the terms of most presidencies.
Bush had 9/11, obama had the global financial crisis.
Trump was likely gonna face SOMETHING, and was always gonna fuck it up.
Is it possible maybe nothing might have gone wrong? Sure, and it's possible, perhaps even likely that in that event Trump would have been reelected. But so what?
There will always be crisis's at some point, and the president ideally should be able to handle them rather than ignore them and just lie about it going away like magic.

Well you see Jess, with respect, I see it very differently to that and I don't buy the Hoax of the actual virus impact and severity and need for the recommended measures because I am so mistrusting of the establishment I appreciate that you own view is entirely contrary and I'm not really meaning to challenge you on this just expressing strongly how I see things myself.
So I don't personally think that he mishandled it because I don't trust these figures of infection and death rates because I know that they were so heavily manipulated and fabricated with the fake PCR testing, and the massive miss recording of death statistics like basically anybody who died during that period whether it was by car crash or some other terminally ill condition.... if they tested positive for covid with one of these very Shady questionable PCR tests those deaths were automatically being added to the Tally of Corona deaths that day.
The virus itself is nowhere near as bad as we have been cunningly deceived into believing not that it cannot be especially nasty for some people I personally had it once maybe 2 times and I have no immune system at all with high proneness to extremely severe respiratory infection.
I managed to overcome the infection quite easily with some effective home treatments with no lasting harm done and I have had much much worse and more health crippling infections since that time which are not Covid, but honestly in all of my experience way worse and harder to deal with and recover from and fully clear and the Corona infection itself was.
I think the reason everyone is so frustrated is because half the people believe one version of reality, and the other half believe another version of reality. And each side feels very strongly that it couldn't be more obvious that the other side is all lies. So it's basically impossible to get anywhere.
I had two people I know die from it, developed the "glass lungs". My cousin is a doctor and was practicing in New York when NY got slammed, and told us about his experience. I believe my cousin over some Internet memes going around suggesting that it was all a hoax and that they call all deaths covid deaths. You can easily see that they don't attribute all deaths to covid, as there are still plenty of deaths from other causes being recorded. This page shows a great level of detail from 2017 to current, about US causes of death. It shows that covid is still a small percentage of the total deaths (for example, heart disease and car accidents still kill far more), but during the peak period, total weekly deaths from all causes were up as much as 35% over the expected amount based on yearly average for that week. That's a lot more people dying.
Figures present excess deaths associated with COVID-19 at the national and state levels.

It's tempting to believe memes and youtube videos, especially when they're made to seem very compelling, and they already agree with your worldview. But there is plenty of data out there if you look into it. Either the entire world is making up huge amounts of fake data, and my cousin and many other people are lying for some reason, and the people I know who died (my mom's friend and my aunt) just so happened to develop the same symptoms that covid is supposed to cause and it only seemed like covid... or else...
Did you get tested for covid, or are you assuming covid when you got sick? Of course, lots of people get really mild symptoms. Most people get mild symptoms. But it's may times more deadly than the flu, even though it's still unlikely it will be serious for any given individual.
I don't think total lockdown is necessary, and I would be opposed to total lockdown. But I think it's a no-brainer to wear a mask in public to prevent water particles from getting into the air as much, as well as wash your hands and social distance. My problem with how Trump handled it was that he made it seem like there was no reason to act any differently, and he inspired a lot of people to just totally refuse to wear masks in public. He could have said, hey all, let's make everything safer and take some precautions, and then a whole lot of people would have been more willing to comply with a few really simple and easily done things, and we'd have a lot less people getting sick, and we wouldn't have states looking to go back into stricter lockdowns right now.
Mike Pence has broken his post-election silence to trumpet the Trump administration’s backing of a new coronavirus vaccine - only for the company to immediately point out that the research and development of their vaccine had nothing to do with the government.
Pfizer announced on Monday morning that their Covid-19 vaccine was 90 per cent effective, in early trials.
"HUGE NEWS: Thanks to the public-private partnership forged by President @realDonaldTrump, @pfizer announced its Coronavirus Vaccine trial is EFFECTIVE, preventing infection in 90% of its volunteers," tweeted Mr Pence.
Nikki Haley, Mr Trump’s former UN ambassador, also claimed that the Pfizer work was down to Mr Trump, saying: “Many thanks”.
Seemingly unaware that Pfizer had very publicly rejected federal funds, she said: "This will be one of the most important action items done by the administration in response to this pandemic."
Dr Kathrin Jansen, Pfizer’s head of vaccine development, told the New York Times: “We were never part of the Warp Speed ... We have never taken any money from the US government, or from anyone.”
Pfizer later clarified that they were considered “part” of Warp Speed, because the US government had placed an order for a potential vaccine. But they received no funding for its development, unlike their rivals.

Hey mate, hope you are doing good. I've honestly been wanting to reply to this all say but have been too sick and fatigued, but I hate doing that sometimes and allowing it to serm like I can't be asked.
I do appreciate your post and thoughts, and I'm real sorry you lost your aunt and mum's friend.
I won't rebut you at all I'll just say that now, you always make fair points, even if we sit on very different fence sides at times. I really hope to give you a fuller answer on my own covid case, diagnosis, experience, and the UK testing and death stat recording protocol currently, which may differ from the US.
I will try to give a better answer when I have some energy, just can't predict when right now, but I appreciate your thoughts here- I don't entirely disagree at all actually.
Placing everything into accurate, proper context is so hard without the full, true intel we rightly deserve and can all fully believe and trust in wide unison.
My birthdays coming up and were still gonna be in a lockdown ffs lol idk if it's just me but strangely since this whole lockdown thing I've started to appreciate life more anyone know what I mean?? It feels like the world has changed in a way we can all feel

We have to really watch out for this new cluster 5 mutation coming out of denmark which researchers said on the 5th has shown signs of been able to neurtalize antibodies making any vaccine we are working on now ineffective. This is a mutation from minks which is greatly concerning for america and its mink farms and lack of concern for everything.
Looks like my fears are coming true of a very bad mutation covid-19 is going to be a long haul for many years with these mutations which are immune to vaccines we have spent the year making.
