Yes, we all were paying attention. We all knew it was a problem, it wasn't the flu, and it's not even the same family, for crying out loud. We all were appalled and baffled when Trump kept gaslighting the country, and many, many people believed him. Which turned into a disaster when definitive data came out showing masks were effective, because Trump gaslighted his base to believe it wasn't dangerous, so people wouldn't wear masks - and it's still happening at his rallies, it's just pure insanity these people are rebelling against science and the good of our country - with Trump encouraging it to continue. Let's see what happens when a vaccine finally is ready for distribution and how big of a disaster that will be to get people to even take it, we'll see if Trump continues the same tactics.
