Exactly, I can envision 5 years from now having flu shots for flu season and coronavirus shots for coronavirus season. I would hope, at least, with vaccines and herd immunity, there will be seasons at least similar to influenza, maybe in the fall or winter when it can transmit easier.
But if you have the vaccine, you shouldn't have to worry then. I guess that's not how it all works though. It seems it has to be all or none ! lolExactly, I can envision 5 years from now having flu shots for flu season and coronavirus shots for coronavirus season. Then it's not like the flu.
Well, I would like to know how it started to begin with. It's just that it makes me sick whenever I do research on it.Correct. It is not the influenza family of viruses and never will be. Two seperate virus families. The only similarity they will ever share is their mitigation risk has been reduced to acceptable levels with a vaccine and eventual herd immunity, and possibly share seasons and yearly vaccinations to continue risk mitigation. Either that, or it will die off, although at this point it seems unlikely.
I keep wanting to realize this. But I keep getting debated and knocked down.Viruses evolve and make the jump between species all the time, it has happened many, many times before in history. There are many viruses in the coronavirus family, some of which cause the common cold (which is actually not all the same sickness, it's a bunch of different ones that cause similar symptoms). This is probably just one that mutated and is now causing a lot of problems. It's possible also that it was a genetically modified virus being studied in a lab that got out somehow, though I think it's more likely it was natural. I think it's very unlikely someone released it on purpose. It's devastated the whole world equally, bioweapons, I would think, would be more targeted. And if it was just some insane person looking to kill people indiscriminately and cause destruction for the sake of destruction, they picked a pretty mild virus for it (compared to how deadly some viruses are). No, I think it's just a ntaural occurrence. 100 years ago, the Spanish flu was a similar sort of pandemic, except more deadly. Pandemics are inevitable, we were overdue for one.
health officials lately with no mask on with no context.
So ...you do live inWell, I would like to know how it started to begin with. It's just that it makes me sick whenever I do research on it.
It seems that it has been tampered with since every so often it is mentioned that it accidentally escaped out of that bio lab
Now I have to begin getting covid tests first
Tuesday of every month if I want to keep my job.
I haven't had a test yet. I asked for one about three months ago and my medical advice was that if I do not have any symptoms to not worry about it at all. Now I am being ordered to get tested.
