Wow if this isn't some perfect example of how much conservatives are able to twist the narrative.
Taking down statues and such is NOT about removing history, it's about telling the whole and unadulterated history, which also includes all the nasty stuff that US schoolbooks wish to deny. Which are ironically predominantly printed in Texas and which whitewash the history written into them.
