Covid-19 Outbreak of new SARS-like coronavirus (Covid-19)

Aussies for the most part see through the nonsense. I don't see anyone here wearing masks. People just want things to go back to normal and are willing to take the risks themselves and do their best to protect the most vulnerable (which should've always been the case).

As someone else living in Australia. I call total crap on this.

I've seen a bunch of people wearing masks.

And the only reason it's fairly low compared to other countries is because the government has acted very sensibly and as a result prevented a full scale outbreak here.

And so the government decided it makes more sense to priority masks for health care providers, and recommended against the public wearing them.

Of course there are many Aussies who are still propagandized idiots living in fear based on lies.
But the recent BLM protests in capital cities would've woken a few people up out of the hypnosis or at least caused them to start scratching their noggin a little.

I would love dearly to see what happens if you went and said all this stuff on an exclusively Australian forum. And I don't mean one for right wing zealots. I mean one for some completely unrelated issue like... Well exactly like how you use bluelight in fact.

You'd be surprised how many people agree with me but are scared to say anything.
It just sometimes appears as if your side is winning because it's the safest stances to take in public.

Check this out. First they said you could ditch the 2m rule in pubs if you don't shout or talk loudly. Now that's ok, but only for 90 minutes! Cos ya know, viruses only spread after 91 minutes of shouting in each others faces.

Good god people, if you don't realize this is farce by now, you're hopeless!

It's Ireland. I'm sure they know you can drown a virus in beer well within the 90min timeframe, even if you sip it slowly (which they canna do!).

This is one of the countless things that were a "crazy conspiracy theory" but then by the time it's rolled out it will seem that normal that most people will just go along with it without blinking (it's been years since thousands of Swedes voluntarily microchipped their hands so they could get on the train or into the gym quicker).

The mask panic is linked to the no going to work panic.
BTW I didn't write that previous post myself it was quoted.

Yes when I was very young I received a few vaccinations. Luckily they didn't have too bad an adverse effect or kill me.
The vaccine schedule when I was younger is much different to the one today. And then check out how many proposed vaccines there are that they want to introduce.
Even if vaccines aren't as nefarious as I believe, they're still going overboard because if you can develop a vaccine and get it mandated then you're $$$$ rolling in it. So the financial incentive is always there and that is one of the biggest problems with pharmaceuticals/healthcare in general.
...it's bad because it's expensive? Dumbest argument I ever heard.

is that what I said? Derp.
Financial incentives corrupt industries and place profits of people. That's pretty much factual at this point.

That's how I interpreted it.

Considering covid vaccine is going to be given away for free to anyone who cannot pay for it, I don't understand the validity or purpose of your argument.

Yeah... that's a Sanders fact about the pharmaceutical industry, alright. How about them insulin prices?

Didn't know you were a leftist? #confused

umm someone is still paying for those and the manufacturers still stand to make huge money. "Free" might just be taken out of taxpayer funds so then I'm actually paying for something that I don't want and don't think is helpful.

Where Sanders fucked up is that he didn't argue for reducing the prices.
He didn't say "hey why the fuck is a gallon of milk $400?"
His idea was to tax rich people so that poor people could receive $400 milk.
He's a fucking idiot.

By the true definitions I am actually a Leftist which shows you how fucking insane the left-wing have become recently.

The following paper was published by former professor of physics at the University of Ottawa, Denis Rancourt.

After reviewing the science on epidemiology, he provides an all-cause mortality analysis of the COVID-19 death rates that have been published in a number of Western countries.

Indeed, there WAS a sharp spike in deaths over a 4-week period from mid-March to mid-April in some states/countries that went into lockdown. But most of those people were not killed 'by the virus'. They were killed by the lockdown.

Rancourt concludes that:

"...the 'Covid peak' represents an accelerated mass homicide of immune-vulnerable individuals, and individuals made more immune-vulnerable, by government and institutional actions, rather than being an epidemiological signature of a novel virus, irrespective of the degree to which the virus is novel..."

In other words, when they told us to 'stay home to save lives and to flatten the curve', what actually happened is that those who are most susceptible to dying from lack of primary health care when it is withdrawn (the elderly, who are of course naturally closest to death) were prematurely killed off, thereby dramatically and suddenly spiking what would otherwise have been a smooth gentle curve, and generating the 'horrifying numbers' with which the media and govt justified the lockdowns.

I wonder why they're still pumping the panic button after there's such overwhelming evidence that they got the initial response completely wrong?

What do you get when you cross systemic racism with a deadly virus?

Oregon county issues face mask order that exempts non-white people

NY Post said:
Lincoln County, Oregon, has exempted non-white people from a new order requiring that face coverings be worn in public — to prevent racial profiling.

Health officials announced last week residents must wear face coverings in public settings where they may come within six feet of another individual who is not from the same household.

But people of color do not have to follow the new rule if they have “heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment” over wearing the masks, officials said.

“No person shall intimidate or harass people who do not comply,” health officials said.

With mask requirements becoming more common, activists have raised concerns that the directives could put non-white people in danger.

“For many black people, deciding whether or not to wear a bandanna in public to protect themselves and others from contracting coronavirus is a lose-lose situation that can result in life-threatening consequences either way,” ReNika Moore, director of the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program, told CNN.

Trevon Logan, who is black, said orders to wear face coverings are “basically telling people to look dangerous given racial stereotypes that are out there.”

“This is in the larger context of black men fitting the description of a suspect who has a hood on, who has a face covering on,” Logan, an economics professor at Ohio State University, told the outlet.

“It looks like almost every criminal sketch of any garden-variety black suspect.”

I suspect you were being facetious, but this is actually a good example of systemic racism affecting people of color. Presumably there has been an issue with people assuming minorities wearing masks are being to rob stores or otherwise commit crimes, whereas this has not been an issue with white people. Hence the dropping of the requirement of minorities to wear masks. If racism wasn't at play, there would be no need to exempt anyone from the mask rule.

Is that a roundabout way of saying that black people commit disproportionately more crime and it's not fair for the innocent ones?
