Police Brutality Thread

What I do like is the idea of cops in jail. What a thing of beauty.

Last time I was locked up there was a former CO of that jail, up front in medical holding on suicide watch in a paper gown. Too bad he was not one of the bad COs. It would have been funnier.

They are going to have a hard time convicting them, however, despite the pressure. No intent, and they are going to submit his toxicology report and say he was out of control.

Just saw vid of a group of strong proud black men beating the shit out of a trans woman.
I’d say not all black lives matter and not all white lives matter. cunts come on all colours

black lives matter
This here is exactly part of the problem. While "black lives matter" is an honorable catchphrase which draws attention where it is deserved, it also has a reverse effect as it deliberately excludes other non-black lives.

The phrase should be ALL LIVES MATTER

Never said that you never said "only black lives matter". So why do we never hear the BLM activists chant "All Lives Matter"? Why don't we see "All Lives Matter" marches and protests. Cute photo-op pic though :)

Also, nice graph you posted there @mal3volent. Could you edit the post and place alongside your graph:-
- a second graph showing crime-rates per country (per capita)
- a third graph showing poverty levels per country (per capita living below the bread line)
- a fourth graph detailing the type of government per country (i.e. dictatorship, oligarchy, communist, police state with all-encompassing military rights, kingdom, democracy)

Just to show a little context ya know. Thanks man.

because it's black people being murdered by cops over and over again. At rates much higher than white people. Not only do they get killed, usually they never face justice. The ones responsible for George Floyd have been arrested, sure, time will tell if they're convicted though. I guess it's progress that they were even arrested.

if someone starts a charity to save children dying of cancer, that doesn't mean they don't care about children dying of pneumonia or malaria. But their mission is to save those dying of cancer.

Do you have any stats/graphs of crimes committed per race, the crime rate statistics of where these cop murders are taking place, the poverty level of the race/locale of where these cop murders are taking place, the poverty levels of where these cop murders are taking place please?

You guys need to stop falling for the race bait and pay attention to what is going on in DC today. There is a lot of talk of a coup d'état happening today/tonight.
  • Multiple Generals have made statements in the last two days that Trump needs to be removed from office
  • Chatter was picked up on military channels regarding plans to remove Trump this weekend (it keeps being censored/spam flooded every time it's posted on any website)
  • There are nationwide protests today including one in DC where they're expecting 1 million people to show up
  • Protesters are demanding Trump and Pence step down
  • Pennsylvania Ave was just renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza
  • DC Mayor kicked out the National Guard troops from the hotel they were staying in last night
  • Trump has cancelled all personal travel for today and is refusing to leave DC
There are some other things I probably forgot to mention. I advise everyone to watch what happens tonight/today. Lots of ways this could go. There is a very real chance Trump may be removed by force if the Air Force doesn't have his back. I've seen this type of thing play out in so many other countries that it wouldn't surprise me to see it happen here. Of course it could go the other way: Trump uses this as an excuse to declare martial law.

Between the virus and the unrest I'm not sure there will be an election this year. Even if there is one I'm not sure Trump will leave office willingly. I'm honestly surprised no one has taken a shot at him yet in the last three years. I thought he'd get assassinated within his first term or early in the second term. It's amazing no one has tried to do it yet with all the hate for him in the general population and the media. The media has been stoking the fire since the start. He's the first president in my life time that they refuse to call "Mr. President".

Is it just me, or do the 'taking the knee' protests seem rather inappropriate in the light of current

I guess you could look at it either way. I think it's fine and should continue. Kaepernick started the kneeling and now it has come full circle. Millions were outraged when he knelt peacefully, for a good cause, now we've seen millions outraged when a cop knelt out of hate and prejudice.

Now the commissioner of the NFL has finally decided to side with his players, and against Trump.

maybe now that the mainstream has adopted BLM, maybe now something significant will change?

I think it would be incredibly profound to see every player on both teams kneel on opening night. I guess the NBA will have that chance first, though.

Here is an interesting video of the protest in Birmingham. @cj

It's really sad, I feel for all of the bystanders and shop owners that get assaulted during all of this shit. Hell we had a guy throw a brick through one of the glass windows at my job.
Wish it would just already be over with.

there are all kinds of graphs out there. The one I posted stands on its own and needs no further context.

Most of them aside from the radio chatter can be found easy. I'm not dropping 20 links while on mobile when most of them disappear within hours of being posted right now. The story about the radio chatter first broke on AR15 forums and was censored multiple times before this thread was finally allowed: https://www.ar15.com/forums/General/The-military-might-be-compromised/5-2335510/?page=1

The protest in DC starts at 4pm EST and you should watch it. By the way everyone begging for the removal of the police needs to be careful what they wish for. I already see where this is going: They'll have robots doing patrols because they "aren't racist". Enjoy your mindless killing machines. If you think I'm crazy just look up the videos of the robot dogs patrolling parks in California right now. They're walking around reminding people that are within 6 feet of each other to socially distance. DARPA provided the funding for the research and development of these things and they look like very stable gun platforms. They scare the shit out of me.

The one I posted stands on its own
Sorry but it doesn't. There are reasons cops kill civilians and then there are reasons cops kill civilians. No single act stands on its own without an understanding or discussion of the circumstances in which the act took place.

Positioning a view without supplying context or reference material amounts to no less than propaganda.
