people die from hunger, thirst or preventable diseases every year?
THEIR FAULT. Wtach me fuck 100 women and make 110 babies and then expect you to take care of 'em while I"m shooting dope.

Seriously get with the program HUMAN BEINGS ARE SHIT, WE ARE RUINING PLANET EARTH AND 7 BILLION OF US ARE SCIENTIFICALLY UNSUSTAINABLE AND ALL LIBERALS KNOW THIS. And you blame what, the oil companies? OIL COMPANIES WOULDN'T EXIST IF HUMAN BEINGS DIDNT. I AM THE PROBLEM. NOT FOSSIL FUELS.

re: NEo I know this is a lot of posting and I apologize but, the last time I gave food away to a homeless alcoholic I cried profusely because I knew exactly how they're going to die of organ failure just like my ex did. It kills me to watch beautiful, worthwhile human beings self-destruct. I cry about it, a lot. It makes me think how close I was to suicide. OK? I am not a heartless bastard.

We can't save everyone, even if I really, really wanted to. We don't have MULTIPLE Earths full of resources. It's totally unsustainable.

And I cried my whole drive home remembering how my ex died, and how all of society does not care about people who don't care about themselves, and all he watned was food not even money, that's when I started breaking down, that he really hadn't eaten in days and non one cared to just give him food

so I was like "Buddy, wait, you really just want food?" = a LOT of homeless just hassle you for dope $$$ and he was like "I haven't eaten in 2 ddays" I HADN'T EATEN IN 3 but when I realized he was strung out like me, I began to cry.

It's a terrible world I was born into, and it does kind of soul-crush me a bit. But you have to care about yourself. You have to work to get ahead.

I am sorry. <3

Wow... this is one area where I really can't see where you're coming from and we will not agree, CH. If you think the richest people worked the hardest, and that poor people should work harder, then I guess there's nothing more to discuss, really. Just because you're poor because you don't work as hard as you could doesn't mean all poor people are poor because they don't work hard (it really has nothing to do with you and your experience). Millions of people work 40, 50, 60+ hours a week at minimum wage and are poor as fuck. They're contributing a vital role to society (the minimum wage jobs are needed), and are working hard day after day after day, working their fingers to the bone (as you put it) and yet can't make ends meet, can't afford a basic standard of living. While someone at the top is getting rich as fuck off of their labor. I am unable to understand how that's right or just. I'm not against the person at the top being wealthy, I'm against the people doing the work being poor.

Your replies go all over the place in terms of points but the only point I'm trying to make is that if you think the people at the top are working the hardest, then I've got a time share on Fyre Island to sell you. I have no problem at all with sane income inequality. If you work hard, produce something, and get rich, then congrats, awesome. I hope to make a million dollars doing something I love doing (music, writing, programming), and if I do, I won't feel bad, and I'll invest it and I'll be pretty fucking comfortable. And I don't begrudge anyone that. But I do begrudge the pathological accrual of endless wealth far beyond what anyone would ever need in 10 lifetimes when it is accrued at the expense of other peoples' labor. That is morally wrong and it's a big part of the problems we face today.

Well, that's a lot of externalized self-hatred..
Just because you feel guilty for not working doesn't mean that other poor people aren't working. You don't strike me as stupid - clearly you have to see that some of the poorest people are also the hardest-working and that among the richest there are only few to none that do actual work instead of just toying around with investments.
Do you really believe that people just have to work harder and they'll be rewarded? What about nurses, a classical example that proves this bullshit theory wrong. No matter how much and hard they work - they make barely enough money to sustain a family or even themselves.

Also: I hate myself, too. That still doesn't give me the right to wish humanity dead. Believe me, I was a misanthrope for a couple of years when I discovered at age 14 how fucked up things are. But eventually I came around to seeing that it doesn't have to be this way. We have enough for everyones need, but not for everyones greed. If there were no billionaires and millionaires, everyone could live in wealth.
Overpopulation is a myth, an old one, too. Now that even reactionaries can't deny the effects of the climate catastrophe, this overpopulation lie is convenient to redirect energy that would go into environmental efforts and actively harms the cause by "making a point" for eco-fascism. And here again the age-old story: Liberals always side with fascism when push comes to shove. That's why we leftists despise you. Also fuck off with your thinly veiled racism:

THEIR FAULT. Wtach me fuck 100 women and make 110 babies and then expect you to take care of 'em while I"m shooting dope.

Sure thing, if people that die because they have no/insufficient access to food, water and/or medicine just would stop fucking women and shooting dope, everything would be better! /s
What an ignorant and racist scapegoat. You realize that, don't you?

Seriously get with the program HUMAN BEINGS ARE SHIT, WE ARE RUINING PLANET EARTH AND 7 BILLION OF US ARE SCIENTIFICALLY UNSUSTAINABLE AND ALL LIBERALS KNOW THIS. And you blame what, the oil companies? OIL COMPANIES WOULDN'T EXIST IF HUMAN BEINGS DIDNT. I AM THE PROBLEM. NOT FOSSIL FUELS.

Humans are neither good nor bad. It's a matter of socialization. Unfortunately we live in a society that encourages and rewards antisocial behaviour such as greed, envy, etc. while social traits such as compassion or empathy are actively hampered in order to create alienated wage-slaves without class consciousness, and it shows. People like you are a product of the capitalist propaganda.
But what if we had a system that would encourage coopertion and mutual aid instead of everyone just fuckin' everyone else over? Come on, it can't be that hard..

And yeah, obviously we blame the fuckin' oil companies. Why the fuck not? You realize that 100 companies are responsible for 71% of global CO2 emissions, right? You describe the problems that we'll be facing in the future, but you think we have no right to complain about the corporations responsible for that? You still would rather kill humanity instead of dismantling those gigacorps that destroy us and our livelihood? Smh, maybe you are the problem after all. But rest assured - when the revolution comes the capitalists and their enablers won't get away unharmed. Maybe somebody hears your longing for death and puts a bullet in your head.
Neither humans nor fossil fuels are the problem, capitalism is. Without a profit motive - who would be interested in polluting the atmosphere and oceans?

Indeed, it is a truly terrible world. But why would you want to perpetuate the cruelty? You seem to be capable of empathy after all, so why are you defending this crooked system? If it's not about the money, it's probably the self-hatred? Can't you hate yourself in a less anti-social fashion?

What are you trying to express with those memes? I don't get it.
And what about our discussion? Don't you have any arguments left? Did you check out the source against the claim of overpopulation? Did you even read what Xorkoth and I wrote?
You aren't stupid, so I hope maybe some of our arguments came through to you. You liberals claim to be open for RATIONAL debates with FACTS and LOGIC, aren't you?

I've had a lot of alcohol/benzos, can you link me? I was so drunk earlier I had a hard time finding this thread, friend. <3

You must know I'm certainly having a rough year and trying to have a little fun.

p.s. I am more conservative than liberal economically but that doesn't mean I don't cheer on civil rights protecting democrats over environmental rights eroding republicans.

1st meme; predicting the dem party takeover against sanders (as many dems have complained of) and
2nd meme (2 pics); the dem/rep party flavor of USA featuring "let's curb fed spending" (HRC's plans, Nixon) to "lol fuck that we're gonna rape the budget to death, we stole this car and someone else will steal it from us until the credit card bank owns it all" (W, Obama, Trump...)

Millions of people work 40, 50, 60+ hours a week at minimum wage and are poor as fuck.
Then you can either blame #1 there not being a socialist/national socialist society to push these people to the top, #2 their inability to say no to predatory capitalist positions because they want to PROBLEM [A} spread babies all over planet Earth (NOT A PRIMARY MEANING OF LIFE) which is showcased best in Atlas Shrugged, #3 the individuals in question who work so hard but never became properly educated in K-12 education i.e. blame public schools themselves. Which I do.

The system keeping us down exists COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT OF WEALTH INEQUALITY and it's going to take some time for you to get to the bottom of it, even if you had all the power Xorkoth, and I WOULD VOTE FOR YOU! You have my vote. <3

we will not agree, CH.
So we're not consuming multiple earths of resources and life on earth for humankind is totally sustainable?

NOPE and all the liberals have to believe in science.

YOU KNOW THIS IS WHY DEMS WILL LOSE ELECTION NIGHT? YOU CAN'T JUST ALL BAND BEHIND GLOBAL WARMING AND SCREAM IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS UNTIL YOU'RE BLUE IN THE FACE AND NOT JUST YOUR DRESSES/SUITS. When Inslee dropped out I knew Trump would win. Have been calling it for months.

It goes something like this

The Earth
2nd Amendment Rights
Civil rights

in the minds of everyone in AMERICA.

Your civil right campaign can't compete with MAGA. It just can't. Even if I HATE IT ALL (and you know how much I <3 PLANET EARTH, my CIVIL RIGHTS, and to me to a much smaller extent 2nd amendment rights I have *never* exercised). <3

I've got a time share on Fyre Island to sell you.
Can't afford it till far-left people give me free money.

And we know left politicians at least don't look like pumpkins or like they were born in a fake sun tanning bed machine. ;)

You can hate me for what I'm saying but I'm still closer to wanting to see a Dem in office.

Well, that's a lot of externalized self-hatred..
The natural world is more beautiful to me than anything humans can create, in excess, which destroys nature.

Our attempt to civilize on the face of planet earth has failed.

Come visit skid row of any major US city and tell me that's better than nature. Please. Trust me, I've seen enough. We've ruined planet earth.

You'd have to live up, far far away from the billions of us who are ruining it, to see it with your own eyes. The forest is a beautiful place. <3

clearly you have to see that some of the poorest people are also the hardest-working and that among the richest there are only few to none that do actual work instead of just toying around with investments.
So.... wait for them to make a bunch of kids, wait for them to get hooked on heroin/meth. The money will fly to another, even larger pile: that of the drug lords.

Tell me how you plan to fight that level of income inequality. Money largely flies from smaller to larger sources, in large scales, and always will by the way this has all been designed.

The best a family/individual can hope for is someone gets a nibble at the food. There aren't 3 planets to go around come next Thanksgiving. We're over-consuming and over-exploiting planet earth. You'd have to dig your head in the sand with the far right not to get that.

How do you plan to value harder workers over non-workers? far left or far right ideology? totalitarianism? forced labor? we're doing the best we can and even that is failing. Capitalism is not failing us; overpopulation is. Also, best highlighted in Atlas Shrugged.

you absolutely, absolutley cannot quantify need and greed

We have enough for everyones need, but not for everyones greed.

or we just become life support systems hooked up on tubes made of minimalism, meals made of each other, because every other species will die/be exploited/be gone as we have RUINED PLANET EARTH. Climate change is NOT A HOAX. We'll be alright, but there will be FUTURE GENERATIONS. They will want options. These linguistically simple things don't click in the minds of people who aspire for SOMETHING JUST SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN AVERAGE. Not everyone can be reconfigured to be a proud minimalist. I actively use minimalism in literature/audio. I used to live materialistically in absurd ways including being homeless three times.

MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT LIKE ME and will TOTALLY LOSE THEIR SHIT if you touched any of their shit.

Do you not remember stock market collapse footage?

I mean, I could go on, and on. Capitalism, wealth inequality, and at least some humans are here to stay, that I can guarantee you.

And yeah, obviously we blame the fuckin' oil companies. Why the fuck not? You realize that 100 companies are responsible for 71% of global CO2 emissions, right? You describe the problems that we'll be facing in the future, but you think we have no right to complain about the corporations responsible for that? Neither humans nor fossil fuels are the problem, capitalism is. Without a profit motive - who would be interested in polluting the atmosphere and oceans?
so it's the nations' faults collectively, for not buying (or taking at gunpoint?) them all up and shutting them all down. far left, far right, and totalitarian nations would be more than happy.

the emissions are proportional to the population. We all can't live 100% green; what happens when we are 3+x 2 billion that "is sustainable if living green"? I believe in science and numbers, sorry. We're doomed.
