Trump is old news this thread is the first time ive heard him being actively discussed in a while and no yoda^ trump is a typica l anti drug douche even the tories take a bit of coke/opium to relax them before their speeches

It's awfully telling that they are refusing to testify to the point of threatening to sue. If there's nothing to hide, why not testify? it would be a great way to say "see everyone, told you so! Bam, case closed". But no one wants to get caught lying to Congress under oath, that would be bad. I'd like to hear any other explanation. I can't think of one. At this point everyone in Trump's camp is clearly beyond aggravated at these accusations, and would jump gratefully at a chance to put them to rest and prove his innocence... right?

I saw footage of Junior on I think The View, and man was he crashing and burning.
 
Moved a few posts from the impeachment thread to the Trump thread.

I can’t wait to hear Sondland’s newly revised (again) testimony after Taylor dropped a bombshell about a phone call in which one of his staff was with Sondland and could hear Trump carrying on about the investigation of Biden. Then Sondland apparently told the staffer that Trump didn’t care about Ukraine, just the Biden stuff. 😕
The staffer will testify behind closed door this week. Sondland had better get his story straight... again.
 
Yes, the Republicans needed a partisan hack who was more put together than Devin Nunez during the impeachment, so they packed the committee.
There isn’t much to work with on Trump defense, but Jordan is better than Nunez. (Low bar.)
 
Former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch testifying today. She is the one who was fired after Trump lost confidence in her thanks to Giuliani. She’s predicted to give some blockbuster testimony. We’ll see.

Lol some people think Trump is getting impeached. That's cute. Thought they would've learned their lesson from the Mueller lies. Gotta keep those ratings up though and impeachment porn is the new thing <3

I missed the testimony. What was the blockbuster info?

That she was fired by a President wholly within his rights to hire/fire ambassadors at his whim?
That she never had any contact directly with the President?
That she was fired well in advance of this phone Call with Zelensky, you know, the whole quid-pro-quo bribery impeachment point of contention?

What, exactly, did she share? Because I'm not hearing anything across the headlines other than Schiff asked if she was intimidated by Trump tweeting during her testimony. I doubt "Trump is a dick when it comes to twitter" is any kind of bombshell. But, it should be a surprise if someone who's career was going toe-to-toe with leaders of foreign governments was intimidated by tweets. That alone would make me question her ability to do her job.

So Trump is just another average Joe and she should just take the death threats to herself and her family in stride? Yeah, she’s sooooo unqualified. What a coward! I mean she’s been under literal gunfire, so what if the leader of the free world is sharpening the dull knives in his deplorable drawer to hack her to pieces? That’s just the price you pay for doing your job well, in addition of course to the attorney fees. THANK GOD SUCH AN UNSTABLE WOMAN HAS BEEN REPLACED! (with someone who admires her and speaks favorably of her).

But yeah, I guess the bigger bombshell was that at least three people heard and watched an ambassador, who typically doesn’t access POTUS directly, ring Trump from an open line on a restaurant veranda in Kiev and answered the (apparently quite loud) question that was apparently all Trump cared about, which was that yes Zelensky would do his bidding regarding the Bidens. I guess the most corrupt thing happening in the Ukraine was Burisma putting Hunter Biden on their board. Thank God Trump is there to fight corruption!

And if you don’t find it compelling that Trump ruined the career of someone for doing a great job, which is something attested to by numerous people in the hearings thus far, someone who was committed to anticorruption measures, just because some corrupt individuals smeared her, then I guess her testimony was only important because it establishes the level of Trump’s involvement in this whole pathetic saga.

He certainly knew she has been an ambassador in Somalia, lol.
 


The desperation is palpable. There is no reason to impeach him. It's embarrassing that they're trying but they got an election coming up plus it's a nice distraction away from Hunter Biden's involvement with Ukrainian corruption. Let the clown show continue..
