PTSD, and associated PDA and suicidal thoughts/severe depression at times. Not fun.
Quite honestly I compared and contrasted end-games and political objectives and quite honestly
what depth of wealth inequality each system tends to render and trust me; the neo-con Bush/Trump agenda of blow-up-the-deficit and get rich while doing it, aka Bush Cheney's America, is a terrible thing. It borderlines totalitarianism. Far-right ideology, nationalism and isolationism tend to render better end-results. Internationalism and globalism have been the disease that have been eating the world alive, and quite honestly, Trump is NOT a nationalist he's an internationalist to an extreme. Do not let him fool you by misrepresenting ideals. If you take all the racism out of Mein Kampf and apply it to Bush Cheney's America, that's basically just like a Racist Bush Cheney's America that is still neo-conservative at heart; closer to totalitarianism than actual national socialism. And if you take the racism out of national socialism... and look at what US/Russian national socialists want/strive for, it somehow makes that seem a lot more like communism (without class equalization but bringing the classes closer together; eliminating poverty/homelessness, debt forgiveness) and quite honestly these ideals seem closer to your ideology than lasseiz-faire capitalism libertarians espouse of "you didn't have to take a loan if you couldn't pay it back, tough luck! Let the businesses fail!" is different from state sponsored and heavily regulated corporations where when the workers ultimately cannot pay mortgages they will ultimately be alright, debt forgiveness, etc.
As a Libertarian I think that the government tries to min/max or micro-manage the economy. Trump is an internationalist worse than Obama because he didn't eliminate the Federal Reserve on day 1. IT IS the enemy of the people. We need to go back on the gold standard - NOW - and eliminate the FR. Let the economy go through its natural cycles. Continue the fiscal wars (because an actual war with China would end in global population of zero), and DO NOT continue to bail out failed corporations, farmers, etc. The big corporate farms rake up all the subsidies due to neo-conservative (oh I'm sorry what you call "crony capitalism") practices. We need to STOP world organizations/banks/nations lending money to countries that have zero chance in hell of ever paying back any of it. We need to STOP or gradually taper off the internationalist war machine/disinformation campaign.
The whole "grow the military!" and adding to the deficit and weakening the USD by not going back on the gold standard and eliminating the FR = internationalist Trump failure. You didn't go to school to Wharton to learn about political science, Donnie, you went there to learn how to scam banks into giving you loans you never deserved by exaggerating your wealth [this is me talking to Trump, not you

]
From an environmentalist point of view, human beings are the problem. We are ruining planet earth through overpopulation. The "horrible implications" are not something I'm saying. They are scientific facts. Many, many, many of us are on the side of science and are not global warming deniers *even if we're politically left, right, up or down* because IT'S REAL. The effects are visible IN OUR LIFETIME, something I'm sure you would agree with me on. Decreased population is the only way we are going to be able to avoid global catastrophe. The fossil fuel industry is too built up; too much has been invested. Too many powerful world nations allied with the US/China are oil producers and have a team-based incentive to continue the destruction of Planet Earth.
"Less people + more resources = feasibility" is not a horrible implication; it's the reality of a world with 7 billion people and not enough resources, when scientists assure us we should be at 2 max, IF WE WERE LIVING GREEN/MINIMAL EMISSIONS, which we are far from.
The only way to save planet earth would be to depopulate well below 2 billion WHICH, by the way, has been the case for all of our history on earth. It's unnatural of us to have overpopulated the earth to this insane degree that we are literally killing it and any hope for the future generations.
Oh, you're talking about ecofascism. Far from it. We are going to have to all get on the page of VHEMT or something along the lines of it until the world population is below 2 billion. And then if we can't "go lower" or don't "want to", we can go green. It would be insane to suggest
hundreds of nations across the globe would resort to such a political extreme.
How are we gonna get rid of all those people considered to be too much? Just kill them all?
As global warming continues, more and more people will opt to not reproduce at all. Or they won't have the chance to as they will have no access to water, food, living conditions that are survivable in certain parts of the world. There won't be a ecofascist government killing us, it will be nature and the earth itself in due time if we don't opt to stop having kids the way we are.
limiting our consumption of resources
People are literally brainwashed against this. People (ideally ME I am really good at this) get jobs JUST to make certain phenomena such as (fill in any profitable venture) more profitable through making it more addictive, reinforcing, rewarding, socially validating, individualized, etc etc etc. and imagine all the people with marketing jobs. Capitalism, above all else, exists to create consumers. WE ARE INDOCTRINATED in the US public schools to become consumers with fake money, fake monetary transactions for things so the lowest of intelligence people get used to using money in the real world, so they can one day be home keepers, shoppers for themselves or their families, etc. the television, the non-stop stream of advertisements (as opposed to independent state-owned media with, persay, one commercial for another state-owned enterprise perhaps just one thirty second window per hour or thirty minutes max) are created to indoctrinate as many Americans into spending, not saving, for their retirement.
The hope is that the American consumer will die before they need a retirement fund. This is why tobacco and alcohol are legal, and why Trump has done nothing to force China to re-schedule fentanyl (or did they do that TO NO EFFECT LOLOLOL); the earlier you die in life, the less likely you have a will, and the gov't keeps 75% of everything that you owned if you have no will. America is a nation of death. This has been enabled by the 2 party system trigger-happily enabling the military industrial complex for decades now.
P.S. Overpopulation is THE ENTIRE WORLD POPULATION's problem. The US is already being effected by the devastation of the rising sea levels (even if the conservative THERE IS NO LIBERAL US MEDIA media in the US DID NOT want you to hear about this) and other global warming disastrous effects. So, no, maybe the US is not having 7 kids per person, but if India, China, etc. are all overpopulating the earth this is 100% just as much of our problem as it is theirs. We cannot merely point the finger but need to help them curve away from this trend.
There is also an implication
much worse behind everyone not getting behind a VHEMT type plan; no matter how shitty the world gets, as the richest of the shittiest, amoral humans are left, like Trump's great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren, no matter how unlivable the world gets, no matter if it turns out to be unlivable anywhere on Planet Earth, there will be underwater/underground facilities for people to live in squalor but it will be considered luxurious at this point, and there will be some nation who will try to force as many of their ethnic people (CHINA AND THE HAN PEOPLE and what they're doing to the Uighurs) into these shitty end-of-ecological-collapse living conditions. Just to, I don't know, be the last skeletons on Planet Earth for when no aliens ever see this travesty because they don't exist either.
Getting the whole world on one page regarding this, in an ethical fashion, would be better than the end-games currently in play (some of which I will not discuss here). Just imagine what the US is creating to counter Russia's newest weapons. Imagine what more you could do... it gets worse.
