As a matter of curiosity, I love socks, I have a huge collection of social socks, very original ones, social but patterned, collected in the strangest places. Because of my work, I need to travel a lot and, in this context, when I arrive in a new city or in a new country, two things are essential: (1) cannabis; (2) socks.

I know this topic is complete uncorrelated with this thread, however, I am high, shooting the breeze, wanting to speak with someone different from the bricks of the wall.

Returning... Buying drugs in different countries is always a dangerous adventure, I don't like it, but, what can I do? I cannot stay without smoking. The good point (if there is one) is that, at least, I can find out a parcel of the "underground movement" of that specific place, which can contribute, in a last instance, to sex and free drugs later

Since I am Brazilian, I am vaccinated against violence and gangs so that I can survive the " unknown market"

On the other hand, after getting my weed, I go out looking for socks, high, paranoid, and speaking bad English around the world

As a matter of curiosity (2)

I need to highlight something, which is of the utmost importance, that is, the beauty of drug trafficking in rich countries of Europe. In Brazil, we have favelas, in the US, gangs, I can tell you, in France, Portugal, Scandinavian, and so on, they are so polite, so naive, I have the feeling that I can steal their drugs and their money, never tried, but I used to smoke crack in favelas with armed drug dealers, so this is an enormous contrast!

This leads us to conclude that life is beautiful in these places in Europe and in fact it is. From all philosophers, Marx is my favorite one. Don't get me wrong, I am not a communist, I want to emphasize the Marx's opinions about life in a certain existentialist point of view, which means stated in modern terms: how the work relations interfere with the mental illness.

Fuck I don't have a time to rest, working a lot and making nothing. My boss probably has a yacht, of course, he has the means of production.

Marx was the only philosopher (from the most famous set of philosophers) that considered the role of the work relations in life, and he did this very well done and what he said is true, very real, each time more, as late capitalism stage is reached

First of all, I want to divide capitalism into two stages, namely early and late stages. The early stage comprehends the First Industrial Revolution, the development of the work rights, Marx, socialism, etc. This stage is finished; the work rights as well as the consumer culture are well established nowadays. This consolidation of the capitalist system has given rise to the late stage, which is the stage that we are current living in.

The capitalist system is like a living organism, it needs to survive and it has developed some adaptive mechanisms, the main one is: “it is necessary to have some set of products in order to be happy”. For example, how can I be happy without an Iphone? Or without a fancy car or fancy clothes? As a direct consequence of this context, one has this predominant show-off culture.

What are the results of the aforementioned considerations?

• Depression and anxiety levels are elevated as never seen before
• Ignorance is on the table: anti-vax, flat Earth, and so on
• The contradictions of the capitalism are more and more accentuated, namely the social and wealth inequality.
• One works till death, being scammed in all senses. The so-called “work rights” each time more are favoring those who have the means of production.
• The Earth is literally dying.
• Guns, xenophobia, prejudices, preconceptions, etc.

So there are millions of reasons to criticize the actual capitalist system. We need to change to something less wild, may be an attenuated version of capitalism, but this seems to be impossible. An imminent disaster will be the cause of change probably.
