^ neither particularly appeals.

a few days ago:

he tells bosa to "...most importantly, always stay true to yourself."

colin kaepernick was staying true to himself but apparently he's a son of a bitch.

and the same websites that criticized colin kaepernick for using his platform as an nfl player are now lauding bosa for doing the same thing.

more hypocrisy.

What could be more presidential than being the President?
you truly think there's no difference between a title and ones words and actions?

ted bundy was a volunteer at a suicide hotline in the 70s, counseling people in crisis over the phone. what could be more helpful and compassionate than being a crisis counselor?

Trump IS the President. If you want to know how a President speaks and acts, look to him. That is what a real President looks like.
What we imagine to be a good President is not real. Just our imagination. Wishful thinking perhaps.
Trump is not what you imagine a President to be. I understand.
Others see in him many of the qualities that they imagine a President should have.
Everyone is deeply flawed. Trump, Hillary, Obama, Adolf, Kaiser Wilhelm, You, me
Acting presidential before a crowd or camera is just acting.
No one is genuinely "presidential" enough.
I think the majority of voters understand that, and would prefer an un-presidential Trump who doesn't pretend to be presidential, rather than another politician pretending to be presidential.

of course. it's subjective.

but it's possible to objectively be the president but subjectively be unpresidential. you seem reasonably intelligent so i doubt that's a concept you'd struggle with - it's hardly doublethink...

i did a search for "what does it mean to be presidential?" obviously there are many results but, from a quick scan, the following seem to be common words and phrases:

cool & calm
proactive rather than reactive
willing to work with those with whom you disagree with as well as those with whom you agree
able to get along with those with whom you disagree or don't necessarily work well
integrity
diplomacy
for all people
rational
gravitas
humble
inclusive
consistent
thoughtful
honest
compassion
wisdom
accountable

your list may obviously differ but a lot of these resonate with me and trump strikes out on most of them for me.

I think the majority of voters understand that, and would prefer an un-presidential Trump who doesn't pretend to be presidential, rather than another politician pretending to be presidential.
false dilemma.

not only does it lack nuance (ironic? :) ), it basically agrees with my point.

trump did a bad thing! response: other people do bad things. conclusion - you agree trump did a bad thing.
trump is unqualified to be president! response: other people are unqualified for things. conclusion - you agree trump is unqualified
etc.

Presidential or not, Donald Trump is 10 steps up from that wet paper bag you had before. I'm proud of you America.

President Trump is good for Australia.
Australia mimics America (like a monkey), and during Obama's sad failures, Australian politicians nearly lost their minds trying to out-loopy each other with leftist loopy ideology.
Trump has had a sobering effect on the country here, whilst sending others completely over the edge lol lol Now the loonies dress in black screeching slogans whilst waving Hammer and Sickle flags. Anyone see that before? Of course you have. Like I said. Australia mimics America like a monkey.

Trump doesn't put America first. Trump puts trump first.

Oddly enough, there are a lot of Americans who feel they are benefiting from Trump. First, or second, on his list of importants can still be debated, but many DO feel his Presidency is an improvement for the country.

the main reason, I think is Trump is apparently going to make people respect america again I dont know if you listened to any of his rallies but the way he charmed the crowd the atmosphere was very patriotic and optimistic he knows how to please crowd Trump is very charismatic
