Hello there, are you paying attention to what's going on around you, or just doubling down on what you expect is going to happen?
Last I checked North Korea was engaging in peace talks and actually vocalized disarmament.
When he kicks off a new conflict with another country (you know, like the 7 presidents before him) then get back me and start complaining about war.me said:

Both. Let's see... he's intentionally created/exacerbated the sense of partisan/ideological division plaguing this country. He's intentionally undermined trust in the news media (yes there are problems with it and have been for a long time, but what he's done with it is dangerous). He/his people repealed media antitrust laws and allowed Sinclair (the owner of Fox, which coincidentally is the only media source you should trust according to Trump) to quietly buy up a huge and growing percentage of local news stations (which are then required to read the far right talking points including further undermining public trust in other news outlets). Basically making one of the main moves towards fascism, red flag number 1: framing the news media as the enemy of the people while consolidating all sources of news media under one source that is controlled by him/the government. That's enough for me to hate his presidency, but there's more. He and his cronies are full-on pillaging this country for personal gain. He's given his corporate friends massive tax cuts, he's cutting spending on social services/safety nets to fund it, he's continuing the work of Reagan and many republicans since Reagan to undermine the middle class in order to create a peasant class of indentured servitude to service the ultra-wealthy. He's empowered bigots and racists... my good friend went to a Trump rally during his campaign to see what it was really like rather than blindly following the outrage, and he literally invited people to use violence against immigrants and muslims to get them to leave. He's appointing personal friends and/or unqualified people to important positions. He's rolling back environmental protections. He's blundering through attempts at diplomacy and making the rest of the world think less of our country.
Not that I expect to convince you of anything. But a man can dream...
Anyone else want to chime in? I'm sure I'm missing things.

Obama did much more to divide the country than Trump did with Antifa and BLM and just complete dislike of cops ( I hate them too) but to the point where ppl think it's okay to kill cops
The media will literally take a snipet of what trump says and spin the ever living f*ck out of it to make him a racist or mysognist or whatever labels liberals use now a days.
And a serious question what is exactly is so crazy about a collective group of rich and powerful people trying to keep their power to getting in the wrong hands? Does that idea just scare you so much that's you have to act like it's a shadow at night and pretend it just doesn't exist?
@alias I don't watch that liberal cancer unless it's memes and videos just making fun of it because of how bad it is but I know i didn't know what the word meant before trump.

You make some very valid points. I am just trying to gauge the room.
To me it seems he hasn't done anything crazy policy-wise, while maintaining his crazy persona. So I was just wondering if it is more the man or what he's done.
The Sinclair stuff is a bit scary and I don't like it at all, not sure how much has to do with him though.

Obama wasn't perfect and he didn't take as bipartisan of an approach as he said he would, but I find your statement absurd. Anyway, I wasn't talking about Obama, I do think Obama was a much better president than Trump but he disappointed me too. In fact there are very few politicians I trust or support. But yeah, we're talking about Trump, not Obama, in addition to being absurd, your assertion here is entirely irrelevant.
Umm... I don't have to pretend it doesn't exist... it doesn't exist. Do you honestly believe that Trump and his people are righteously trying to take power so they can keep it from falling into the wrong hands? Do you also believe in trickle-down economics? If I thought they were being noble about it, I'd feel differently, but it just seems incredibly obvious that that isn't what's going on, at all.

I agree that it goes well beyond Trump. However I do think he's aiding them greatly with his intentional undermining of trust in any news media besides Fox. I think it would be difficult to argue that that he isn't pushing for a single news media source, and that's something we do not want, at all. Look at other countries where news is disseminated by only a single, state-controlled source and you'll see where that leads.

Of course they are. I think you missed my point. I'm saying that Trump and his people are using the government for their own interests at the expense of the people. Lots of other people are doing it too, the system is immensely corrupted. I just don't think Trump is the answer or is even trying to be, he's just saying he's trying to fix things so people support him and vote for him. Same as almost all the other politicians.

You don't see the results either, so I don't take your analysis of the situation seriously at all. You will not even admit that the peace talks are happening and that they are a good thing, instead you choose to focus on "Trump sent aggressive tweets and imo that could have ended badly". Ever heard of portraying a persona? Ever heard of evaluating results? Try it sometime

I help people with subjects I know about. Philosophy, spirituality, relationships, politics. I'm not an expert drug user and the wealth of information here helps me more than I help others. Is this also a place for people to seek help, or just talk out their ass?
I answer all questions directed at me. People can contribute in different ways. Do you have a problem with conflicting opinions or something? Do different POV personally offend you? I'll apologize if it will make you feel better.
I'm not quite sure what that means and I'm more worried that some text on an online forum can affect you to the point that you feel physically sick. Maybe you can start a thread about being over-sensitive. I'm also glad that you are able to speak for every single member, or that you've interviewed every member and they all do not take me seriously. I'm grateful for the information.
