The 2018 Trump Presidency thread

I stand fast that everyone in government is probably a creepy pedophile at that point. They put themselves in a position of power over us to commit terrible and unspeakable acts and you all allow it to ur allegiance to the state.

Why is this shocking to anyone?

If you were a pedo that didn't want to get caught you would become a politician, policeman or judge. I wouldn't say everyone in government, but definitely more than people expect.

So can you please answer this question: did you find anything repulsive about the Biden video where he's touching the families, including young daughters of officials being sworn in?

evidence?
Evidence for what? It's common sense. People in powerful positions get away with crimes it's just how the world works (see Clinton/classified info).
When a big pedo bust happens, take note of the occupations of the people involved. Very often they are employed in law enforcement.
There was a child porn scandal at the Pentagon with many employees having illegal material on their computers - nothing ever came of it.
The State Department even covered up a pedo scandal quite a few years back (according to NBC) when Mrs Clinton was running the dept

Another example look at how Larry Nassar was protected and allowed to abuse young athletes for decades. There were many complaints but nothing ever happened until recently.
Jimmy Savile being protected by the BBC, and even knighted by the Queen which gave him more access to children's hospitals. The dude was an evil predator that was free to destroy countless lives until he finally died.
A Georgia senator spoke up about state-wide trafficking but unfortunately was suspiciously murdered.

How is this logical? To keep your pedophilia a secret, you become... a prominant political figure who's every move is watched like a hawk by the media? C'mon...

I answered this question with my previous post. Another example - the ex-British PM Edward Heath was outed as a massive pedophile posthumously (just like Savile)
So according to you, he should have been exposed years before he died because they're watching his every move.
It's not even debatable that powerful people abuse the system and get away with things that the peons wouldn't.

Or how about Harvey Weinstein? There was a story ready to go on him years ago that the media suppressed because powerful guy with connections.
He even hired ex-Israeli agents to silence victims and harass journalists.

Key word alleged.

i'm gonna stop you right there bub. if you cant even make the effort of pretending to be internally consistent then its transparently trolling. "alleged" is an all-important superpower you and your ilk try to whip out and pretend is sacred every time people on "your team" commit treason and endless felonies, yet even the smallest whisper of possibility that a law could have maybe been broken is enough to justify mobilizing a full on execution vigilantee squad to storm a random pizza shop when its people you dont agree with. yeah, no.

Can you please take my whole post into account instead of cherrypicking one word to claim that I'm trolling.
There is a difference between allegations lacking evidence and video footage that anyone can view.
Once Roy Moore gets charged I'll be more convinced that the allegations were legitimate instead of just a timely political smear.
And I do think allegations should be properly investigated - across the board. (not sure why you're trying to throw me in with "my ilk" who seem to be hypocritical loonies)

The Heath allegations have been completely dismissed because the guy making the accusations (himself a serial paedophile) was shown to have completely fabricated the whole thing.

The media who jumped on the story and created a huge beat-up demonstrated poor journalistic ethics by failing to publicly acknowledge that the story, which they were so quick to hype and sensationalise, was shown to be bogus - but all the same you're pedalling conspiracy here.

It's not "common sense" to suggest - this kinda thing; it's nonsense.

Ted Heath 'rape victim' made the whole thing up, claim accuser's family

You frequently take exception to the observation that trump panders to racists with his racially-charged rhetoric - a very basic observation - then you make wild claims like this -

If you were a pedo that didn't want to get caught you would become a politician, policeman or judge. I wouldn't say everyone in government, but definitely more than people expect.

Appealing to "common sense" is a predictable excuse which people frequently use when they propagate hearsay, urban myth or conspiracy theory but cannot back it up with any sort of proof.)

Claiming that go into public office for the purpose of obscuring their sexual interest in children is just absurd.

No it isn't. It's the same as someone getting into the police force to abuse their power or make extra money committing crimes. I think you might agree that's quite common.
And if your entire sexual identity is linked to a practice that will get you locked up for life or lynched by society it's not a stretch to desire a position where you are relatively untouchable.

Why won't you comment on the Biden video? Just wanted to know if you were repulsed by his behavior of if you think that everything there is acceptable?

And how about Jimmy Savile? He wasn't a politician he was someone that was even more prominent in the media. Yet he was protected by the BBC and Royal Family and allowed to abuse children for decades. Never faced any punishment. How did that happen?

@Jgrimez

I wouldn?t listen to this kid. He really doesn?t understand poltics. Like his icon says he?s anarchist but in the gun debate he?s pretty communist

You know anarchist and communist aren't mutually exclusive. Quite the opposite, true communism is supposed to be somewhat anarchist. Which, is kinda why I think both concepts fail. They both require wide social agreement to work, and humans just don't agree like that in real life.

i've asked you politely a couple of times to stop this. please, one lasttime, can you stop name calling and personal attacks?

maybe he understand politics fine. maybe he just has a different perspective to you.

if you feel he misunderstands something, explain why.

thank you.

@jess

I know they are two different things but he thinks he?s one and he?s really the other

@alias

You cannot have communism and anarchy in the same boat. In his last post he stated he wanted to the state to take guns away and claims that anarchy is not the absence of government.

It?s not a personal attack it?s pointing out a fact that this kid doesn?t even understand the basics of politics.

Uh... yeah totally different from name calling and personal attacks. Him saying he's an anarchist and then explaining why he thinks he is is a valid conversation point, why would we not allow that? On the other hand, insulting people isn't the way to go about conversing, it's just inflammatory, so it's not allowed. You can explain your position and tell someone why you think they're wrong without insulting them.

By the way, calling someone a kid repeatedly in conversation is an attempt to insult them to remove the legitimacy of their claims. If you can't have respect for other people, go join some forum where they don't care about that kind of stuff.

who is @alias?

i am primarily talking about your referring to him as 'kid'. it's condescending and we're trying to raise the bar.

if he's wrong about definitions, put him right.
