I recently just quit Oxys, Ty Threes, Vicodin, and I took some ms contin and tramadol too. I was on mainly Oxys, Tylenol Threes, and Vicodin for about a month and I've had problems with drug/alcohol abuse before (I've gone through withdrawal before) but I was just curious because I've been off my last dose of any drug for about two days and haven't felt anything but a bit of nervousness/anxiety, and insomnia so does that mean that I probably won't have any kind of withdrawal? I took enough for me to get high everyday. And some days I would go a little insane with it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The acute withdrawal symptoms should have peaked by now. Welcome to the post acute withdrawal stage, where results may vary. Keep yourself occupied, eat well, sleep well, and find something to re-align your will power when you get that itch to go get more.

Ok, thanks for the advice! I appreciate it.

You're probably good since most of what you listed as taking has a pretty short half-life... if you were going to feel withdrawals, you'd have started feeling them a while ago. You say you've experienced withdrawal before? If I were you, I'd count yourself as lucky and learn from this. I was addicted to opiates for 10 years, and every time I got physically addicted and then withdrew, the withdrawals would be worse, and it took a lot less time to get re-addicted. It got to where just 1 or 2 uses would produce light withdrawal. You don't want to get to that point. Stop while you're ahead, you have a unique opportunity here to leave it behind without having to withdraw! Too many opiate users wish for that opportunity.

Good luck. <3 try to find things in your life that you really like doing, and do those things. And if there are things in your life that are causing you pain and aren't working, try to get rid of those things. That helps in general, and also with addiction.

A month isnt a very long. If you do get withdrawals after a month they should be pretty mild. When I used 300mg morphine daily for a month, the only withdrawal effects I had was feeling cold and lonely, and a little anti-social.

Yeah, I developed a bad addiction by doing the same opiates and even other stuff (neurotin, muscle relaxants, tramadol, and then dependency to where I would just do anything to get a buzz or high, like taking a bunch of antidepressants, and I knew they wouldn't do anything for me). I did a lot of this for about 8 months and then I came off of it when I got put into a mental hospital. But, yeah. Thanks for the advice!
