A PLEA: can we discuss and debate without insults and abuse?

Because my life is devoid of any hope or meaning, I checked page one and two, and didn't see a single insult directed at Mr. Liquid Method.

A moderator questioned after his mental health, yes, but it was sincere.

Please start some threads! What we actively want, and promote, is discussion. The more the merrier :)

And agreed re: conspiracy theory stuff. I really don't want it here, I think it devalues a lot of discussion.

The staff are here to help, I'm certainly willing to but we also all need to play a role.

I urge anyone who is unsure about a topic to either PM any of the mods and ask, or just post it. If its not breaking rules, the worst that will happen will be thread closure...
 
What about people who take off their pants to help others? Theres the story of a bloke who took his pants off to sling a juvenile great white that was stranded on Manly Beach back into the water.

I saw some. Theres usually a few sides to each story mate. Arguments rarely erupt out of nowhere.

Yes, which is why I treated his complaint with respect and actually looked, like he asked. Nothing was directed at him. A boolean has two options, one result, and no sides. I didn't need any luck to read, the result didn't affect me.

Yeah, he's gotten plenty of teasing around here. He's also continually been given respect by folks taking time to read his posts, look at his sources, and reply without saying he's on crack or having meth delusions or a mental illness or lacks testicles, etc.

Theres nothing wrong with being on drugs and having no testicles.

Exactly.

Not that I'd know about the latter. But I do enjoy the company of people who lack testicles and enjoy drugs.

Just a note, to anyone who fits that and lives in California's San Joaguin valley.

ETA: or anyone really, any number of testicles.

Bumpitty bump. I don't think this forum is too heated actually, I see many worse. Always good to remember we're all just people and basically the same, just with different ideas about how things should be.
