While his fantastical libertarian views are cute. there is a reason they never exist on earth. Because you can't trust people with all the resources to not right the economy further in thier favor.

So you have to actively take the resources from them
 
Not to mention "Libertarian" doesn't really fall on the Left/Right spectrum. It's really anarchism, which is closer to the Left then anything.

It is about how leftwing terrorists are allowed to be violent and shut down free speech of conservative speakers, and how it makes liberal sense to group those conservative speakers in with actual Neo-Nazis.

This current climate has gotten so insane that an admin of this forum has free reign to allege that a Jewish person who has lost family members at the hands of Nazis is a defender of Nazis. Their own rhetoric exposes that many "Liberals" do not actually stand for tolerance and equality, they are actually hateful bigots projecting their confusion onto others, eg. labeling an egalitarian conservative or centrist a Nazi because they do not submissively align with their agenda, which puzzlingly seems like it's rooted in neo-marxism and communist ideals.

I'm sorry but when your admins are encouraged to label people with a conservative or centrist view (including Jewish people) Nazis, then you have a moderation problem with your forum. In a way you are just as bad as some of the cesspools that you look down upon - although I will say that this normalization of bigotry from the Left is symptomatic of a much larger problem in society/the media that we're witnessing. So I will attempt to not get baited by this continued racism directed at me and recognize this abuse for what it is - confusion caused by societal pressures and lack of a coherent argument thanks to trusting a deceitful and incendiary media. This is not a forum for open discussion it is a liberal safe space. The support here for Antifa is especially worrying as even crazy Nancy Pelosi has now denounced this disorganized group of terrorists.

FBI, DHS Officially Classify Antifa Activities As "Domestic Terrorist Violence"

As Politico points out today, previously unreported FBI and Department of Homeland Security studies found that "anarchist extremist" group like Antifa have been the "primary instigators of violence at public rallies" going back to at least April 2016 when the reports were first published.

Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials since early 2016 that leftist extremists known as “antifa” had become increasingly confrontational and dangerous, so much so that the Department of Homeland Security formally classified their activities as “domestic terrorist violence,” according to interviews and confidential law enforcement documents obtained by POLITICO.

Since well before the Aug. 12 rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned deadly, DHS has been issuing warnings about the growing likelihood of lethal violence between the left-wing anarchists and right-wing white supremacist and nationalist groups.

Previously unreported documents disclose that by April 2016, authorities believed that “anarchist extremists” were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies against a range of targets. They were blamed by authorities for attacks on the police, government and political institutions, along with symbols of “the capitalist system,” racism, social injustice and fascism, according to a confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI.

Now, this was about Charlottesville, where a neo-nazi white supremacist klan-fascist whatever drove his car into a group of people and killed one of them. For some reason, lots of people wanted to defend the guys who held the rally, of whom the driver was a member.

Now, if you defend the neo-nazis/white-supremacists/klan member/fascists I'm going to call you a nazi-defender. It's just how English works, nothing to do with politics. I'll also question your motives for defending them.

I just think it's a no brainer that if your marching with people that are waving Nazi flags and screaming anti semitic and anti black slogans that your not the good people. Ask a WW 2 vet how he feels about Trump saying some good people stood under that Nazi flag. Ask a Korean Vet if he thinks we need to go back to Korea. I did, they said Trump was a bad person who wants to lead us into another stupid bad war. To praise Southern secessionists and Nazis is un-American. Why should Southern Generals statues come down? Because they hated America and wanted to destroy the country. They also lost and don' t deserve trophies. Both the civil war and WW2 are over, the Nazis and confederates lost. When you lose you don't get statues or respect. Trump is an idiot or he's un American or both. A president needs to come out day one without a pause and say you see those Nazi flags over there, you hear them screaming violence against minorities. Don't stand with them, no matter what your intentions might be. It's simple. He waited too long and was too soft. Not a good move.

Can we take down those statues because those men wanted to ruin America by breaking it up. Can we take down those statues because only winners get statues? There's more reasons than racism. Nazi's shot and killed Americans, it's not just racism it's even worse.
 
I dare say nobody here will watch this, but if you want to hear some intelligent people rationally discussing this entire topic then listen to Jordan Peterson & Bret Weinstein on the Joe Rogan podcast.

The discussion in this thread is so incredibly vague that it completely misses what is truly happening in front of us. Surface-level discussion and shrieks of fascism get us nowhere apart from closer to social unrest and civil war. The Alt-Left are doing nothing to help their cause by abusing people (especially the ones who are undeserving of said abuse). Outlets like Salon are even dangerously fanning the flames of civil war - if this is a civil war, pick a side: Donald Trump, white nationalism and the future of America.

Trust me, you do not want the average American to "pick a side", because it won't be yours.

It's also interesting to witness how the Left view the 2nd amendment.
Before Trump: We need to restrict everyone's guns.
After Trump: We need to get serious about arming ourselves

Many of who you are now labeling fascists are young men who are being pushed in a right-leaning direction by the movement of the radical Left alienating them. They view the Left and think "well I'm certainly not THAT, well then so what am I? Well maybe I'm the opposite of that"? Is the opposite of the radical Left the Alt-Right? Or is there a better opposite, a different opposite that people could flee to?

That's what the sane ones of us are attempting to work out.
If you want to label me a Nazi along the way, all that does is expose your immaturity and refusal to get to the core of the problems we're facing.

Please provide evidence where I personally defended Nazis so we can get to the bottom of these persistent allegations - if you cannot then please refrain from defecating these types of inflammatory comments. You're not going to bait me into getting banned again.

And thanks for proving my point. When it comes down to intelligent people wanting to get to the crux of the matter, the cowardly ones retreat intellectually and hide in their fragile shelters, protecting themselves from engaging in honest debate by throwing out unwarranted abuse.

I am discussing the topic, son.

The topic at hand is nazis that killed a person here in the US. You continue to insist that these are misunderstood people and that I'm denying them a voice somehow. Explain to me how I'm wrong, or I'll continue to call you an apologist.
 
I think we've identified the problem and this comes back to my previously-asked question regarding whether you consider Ann Coulter or Milo Yiannopolous Nazis.

If you do not, and you can denounce Antifa shutting down their speeches, then we can all come to some kind of agreement and then we can band together and go after the actual Neo-Nazis.
If you do consider them Nazis, then you have a serious problem with Nazi identification. This is your problem, not mine. So again, I will ask you to refrain from labeling me a Nazi sympathizer until you can fix your identification issues.

Coulter/Milo - Nazis or not?
Is their free speech deserving of violent suppression?
