Isis wanted their own Islamic state with their extremist views of Islam only and with their own preachers only and well...they kinda got it for a while, still will and will keep killing regardless.

Given Americas KKK history and the European WWII horror, surely this should be worrying?

Or like Isis was, just ignore it until they start actually invading cities?

This protest if it was legal should have had mad police presence. Like even over the top US standards.

My point to scrofula is that Isis and ANY Christian terror group are not comparable in terms of threat to the world.

The protest was legal as far as I know and there was a shitload of police present.
 
Well yeah not right now at the moment. ISIS wasnt taken seriously for ages. It was like just a middle east issue. Countries were trying to withdraw from the middle east and didnt want to get drawn in again.

So here we are with this shit happening.

If it wasnt Isis it would have been someone else tbh.

but why are you bringing up other unrelated attacks, trying to diminish the impact of a terrorist attack here in the US?



(Considering ISIS is nearly dead and never controlled much more than a highway across Iraq and Syria, and a white nationalist is currently the top law enforcement agent of a nation with a military larger than the rest of the world put together, just that alone, keeping WWII in mind, makes this a much much bigger threat to the world. I'm pretty sure someone can dredge up statistics of deaths caused by various terrorist groups over the course of history and sort this out. You're arguing about pretty much nothing guys.

No group is better or worse it just depends on how much time and opportunity they have and who knows how many are gonna die at any of their hands.

Fact is they want similar thing and ISIS is not American, these tools are and maybe Americans are trying to rationalise it or down play it yet can justify mass Muslim migration into America based on ISIS.

Sorry zeph but I'm not arguing about various terrorist groups. I'm disagreeing with scrofula that Isis is comparable to white nationalists.
Isis have killed HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS in recent years and white nationalists have not.
Doesn't mean I'm defending white nationalists though does it.

It's going no where though so I'll just drop it for everyone else's sake.

Its just the rationale behind both are quite similar but having thought further maybe not.

White nationals I would suspect would operate completely differently and get underground financial and weapons support from local Americans wheras ISIS is seemingly springing up from a few areas in the middle east.

It was a sad stupid day and maybe not the last.

And I guess you don't live here, haven't dealt with it, so it isn't a reality for you, or a potential future, you've never had tense late night encounters, or gotten bused across towns because of it. You don't realize you can get . . . in serious trouble sharing that attitude in certain places in the US. TBC, the attitude that this was no big deal and the protesters were asking for it. OH, you never said that, but it's the attitude that's being projected. Why else argue?

and yeah, US military budget is only nearly the rest of the world combined, I'm sorry I didn't get the exact figures. But you remember my point, right? That we don't want fascists in charge of it?
