Fuck. Well pardon my french as I thought he was liek the hero mayor n shit and liek cool but something something fbi and cops and shit and prostate cancer and old so hes not exactly long term anyway.

Fuck drunk and CEP.

Trumps been so unfairly treated man.

Nah. Still not smashed enough.

Don't want to get into a Truther debate but the "investigation" after 9/11 was piss-poor at best.
Irrespective of that, I do not trust Giuliani. We need an AG that will do his/her job and go after Hillary Clinton.

(and the human traffickers)

Thought he was the 911 hero guy?

He was mayor during 9/11 but is a huge crook.

All those things Trump says about Clinton, "Crooked Hillary", i.e. calling her a criminal, apply better to people like Chris Christie, or Giuliani. They are criminals who held public office. Giuliani is a Trump apologist and ass-sucker. Giuliani was all for stop and frisk, racial discrimination, etc.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a "9/11 cover up guy", but he's no hero. Misappropriated funds to help the clean up efforts, assisted in making victims' payouts as low as possible (directly or indirectly), and sat by while NYC became a shit hole (though it always was one). Trampled all over civil rights in a reaction to 9/11.

All NYC mayors are scum bags but Giuliani was one of the worst.

^All they did was vote to decide whether or not they'd draft anything in the first place. It's hardly progress and the tie was broken by Pence's cheap-shot vote.

Yes I know, I really do.
However, I can understand the feeling. For a while he seemed to be the one who was saving the city. Everyone was very confused.

The Senate voted 51-50 (with Pence as a tiebreaker) to debate proposed amendments to possibly repeal and perhaps replace the ACA.

Nothing has been decided, and a final proposal would have to garner a minimum of 50 votes with Pence as a tiebreaker in order to be passed. After that the House of Representatives would have to vote it in; this step is unlikely to be problematic if the Senate approves

The ACA does have problems, but repeal without replacement will destabilize the healthcare insurance markets due to the uncertainty of what will be in the replacement bill.

Doesnt he have extremely advanced untreatable prosyate cancer anyway? Or some type of thing. Or can you be on life support and still be in office.

He's back (finally got my FLA account straightened out). Captain, I knew there was a reason I liked you. He milked that 9/11 photo op for all it was worth. Most people my age are such humorless, boring, dicks for the most part.

Betya he doesn't get denied opioids like I invariably will be when I get cancer or have 6 months or less left.

That's very sad. I have read that the Republicans did want to work together in the senate to come up with corrections of some flaws in Obamacare as well as work from something they had recognized as good, solid, and but like everything in life it could need an upgrade that wouldn't exclude people. Oh well, you know how Trump is, he was mad and told the party to repeal it regardless of its merit, something which imo was built in fine grounds, but could get better and it almost worked. Of course Pence was the tiebreaker or deal breaker, so to speak. We live in times where an egomaniacal president like Trump seems to be able to always get away with whatever he does, even it's wrongdoing.

I figure they have the skills, know-how, and plans on how to make a nuke.

They just don't want to take the international hit to their reputation yet.

I prefer to believe, even though I'm sure it's not true, that the only nation to have ever been nuked, wants nothing to do with making nukes.

You gotta admit there's something about people's skin sloughing off days later, or shadows literally burned into walls, that should make you think twice about using weapons that are now over 200X the strength of the first two. But as our leader said, "why have 'em if you can't use 'em?" He might have meant Miss America, I don't know.

can't? or won't?

Who would you like him to hire? Some couch potatoes who like to watch CSPAN?
He needs people in those positions that have enough power to get shit done.
I don't agree with all of his picks but I'm waiting to pass judgement on what he directs his employees to do next.

When Putin came into power he rounded up all the corrupt oligarchs. He told them the government was basically willing to grant them an amnesty - they can keep everything they've amassed so far through dubious means but from now on they follow the law or they get taken down. Trump would do well to implement the same type of deal in the US.

"Draining the swamp" is not an overnight operation - it is fundamentally dismantling the entrenched and systemic corruption. With Clinton or any other establishment politician, nothing would've changed and the power/wealth disparity would have gotten worse. Many people in their minds voted for Trump simply for the chance that this problem could be addressed. Whether it does or not is a different story (I believe it can) but the argument for the alternative is untenable so I'm not sure why you are angry at him for giving it a shot at least. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.
