there is a hint that he might start taking those lowest approval ratings seriously soon. We can only hope that he boots Bannon and stops pushing the white supremacists and christofascists agendas and instead tries to do good for all Americans to boost his approval ratings and leave a good legacy. As narcissistic and positionally flexible as he is, with the right advisors he could actually do some good.

Kellyanne Conway thinks she took too much flak for citing a nonexistent “Bowling Green massacre” to justify President Trump's travel ban. She said she simply meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists,” and she later said, “I misspoke one word.”

Except now she doesn't appear to have misspoken at all; she seems to have believed that the Bowling Green massacre was a real thing.

How do we know? Because she cited the same nonexistent attack in separate interviews with two other outlets — Cosmopolitan magazine and TMZ.

tl;dr she knew it was a lie when she said it. and she lied about it afterwards.

It seems that manipulation of the truth is more practiced than previously thought. I think it is practiced in every field in society. It seems to be done by people who fear change or are unable to let go of the perceived comfort of their current position of authority.

She is an extremely smart woman that knows she will be fact checked with impunity. I give her a pass on getting things mixed up/ gaffe. Common sense

It's the media's fault for becoming so partisan.

The media blatantly printed and reported lies, and at their worse printed and reported stories they knew were fake to support their emotions.

I have a hard time believing that kelly anne conway purposefully lied when in reality she was mistaken, in a day were anyone can fact check anything instantly, I doubt she would play chicken with the truth like that, she doesn't have to.

Does anyone remember the morning and afternoon of Nov 8th??

I'm really happy they overdid her support as they did bc I'm sure a lot of clinton supporters heard that and decided to stay home instead of vote.

we're talking about kellyanne conway's documented, verifiable lies around the 'bowling green massacre' story.

that's not the media portraying her negatively. she lied through her teeth then her excuse to cover up her lie was another lie. droppers trumpets the media's aggressive fact-checking then blows it off when the media does their job and exposes conway.

fail.

i'm just waiting for the point at which even stout trump fans start to question their support. i mean what do they have to do or say? maybe it just never comes.

Wooderson you are exactly right about the unlikleness of someone in her positions playing chicken with the truth. This is the only thing they can some up with, as well. This type of sexist criticism shows just how hypocritical anti trump people have become. Willing to throw their sjw principles out the window..
