Can you take anastrazole for a while and then quit without problems?

I get TRT and in the past when I had my e2 measured it was always borderline high, due to the TRT.

I have no gyno issues. But I still wonder what if I'd feel better with less e2.

Could I just do a trial with anastrazole and take it for a few weeks and then see what happens and then get off it
without problems? Or would this not be worth it? Is there a rebound effect?

Would lowering e2 actually make the body start producing own testosterone again by raising LH? Cause my LH is 0
cause of the TRT. My balls have also shrunk but at least they are stable now.

I have some anastrazole at home but it will only last 2 months and after that I don't know if I can get new stuff.
I'd only try to get something new if it was really worth it.

But I also read that estradiol is actually good for the brain, which is why I ask myself if having higher levels might not
be a good thing as long as you don't grow breasts.

But then again, I don't know what it would feel like if I had lower e2.

How long would it take to lower the e2 and to be able to tell if it makes a difference?
I mean what kind of changes could one even expect? Are we talking about feeling different mentally or is it about
getting a different body composition? This would probably take many months before you can even see a difference.

Rather than lower E2, why not look into why it is elevated on TRT.... I assume you have a GP or Endo overseeing your therapy, what is their opinion on raised E2..

How often are you injecting and with what compound..? It could something as simple as lowering the dose but injecting more frequently, to keep blood spikes within therapeutic range, to minimise aromatisation...
Do you have excess BF%, the aromatase enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen is found largely in adipose (fat tissue), lower BF% you lower estrogen conversion..
When do you take blood tests, if close to post injection E2 would be elevated...

You could try 0.25mg or 0.5mg twice a week for a month, to see if E2 lowers and you feel different, remember lowering E2 too much can be as bad as having high E2, you don't want to knock it out completely, just lower slightly... Last week take half the dose to minimise any slight rebound..

If on TRT, LH would always be low, I don't believe adex would make too much of a difference...

How long it takes to lower E2 would depend on how much you had to start with...

Remember 98% estradiol is bound to transport proteins, only when unbound and free is it able to bind receptor and then subsequently metabolised.. How long it takes to significantly lower E2, I don't really know... (hoping someone can chime in here)...???

The adex will lower e2 within a day or two. There is no problem starting and stopping it, so experiment if you want to.
Most guys on TRT shoot for an e2 between 20 and 30 ( using bloods from quest or labcorp).

Many of us on TRT also use weekly injections of HCG, which mimics LH and keeps the balls from shrinking and helps with libido and cholesterol, plus a few other things

If you're not having negative sides and libido is good I wouldn't mess with it. Everyone is different and one level for one guy won't feel the same as when another guy has that same level. I find on the mid-high end, like in the 40s is best for me. Lower than that and my libido suffers. Just get bloodwork and see.

Hello,
I was thinking that lowering e2 would also increase the libido, is this not so?

I get 250mg T shots every 3 weeks.

My intern who gives me the shots didn't say anything about the slightly elevated E2 levels but he also
doesn't know much about hormones. I simply go to him for the shots cause the endocrinologists are also totally
useless.

Where I live TRT is not very advanced. Self-injecting or following own protocols is not allowed.
Doctors are afraid that they could be held responsible if you harm yourself.

What I basically do is I get the shots and then during the last 7 days before the next injection when the T levels are already going down
I add some T gel. I also have T gel at home. This way I prevent my T levels from decreasing too much. Cause if you get a shot every 3 weeks
then after 2 weeks your T levels are already pretty low and after 3 weeks they are borderline.

Adding some gel helps with this.

I don't really feel the highs or lows of the T. For example when I get a shot then I don't feel it when my T peaks after a few days. I also don't really
feel it when they T is low.

I was thinking about trying out Anastrozole because I'm skinny fat. I think that the T helps a bit with muscle mass.
But I have really stubborn fat and a strange fat distribution!

I lose fat at the worst places (face) and basically look like I'm coming out of a concentration camp and at the same time I have way too much BF on the lower body!
This absolutely sucks.

I also cannot really get rid of the lower body fat with dieting. When I diet and lose fat then I lose it on the wrong places.

Maybe this is simply genetics but it sucks. Other people are waaaaay more lean than me and they still have fat tissue on their face. My fat is all gone and from what I know
it doesn't come back.

I could eat my way up to 300 pounds and my face would probably still look slim.

Wow, 3 weeks is a long time between injections. I dont blame you for using androgel between injections.
As far as the skinny fat thing goes, try working out.
You can mess around with some adex and see if you notice any change, but I doubt you will.

3 weeks is the maximum between injections. If I went every 2 weeks then my levels would be higher of course.

I'd like to know how my muscle gains would look like now where I'm on TRT. Unfortunately I havent been able to work out
cause of impingement syndrome. It started a few years ago and then I had to quit working out.

I only know that back then, with my naturally low T levels, I hardly gained anything it was really discouraging.

I also have very little strength especially when it comes to the chest and triceps. I've never been able to do regular pushups.

In the gym I didn't do much benchpressing cause it was too awkward cause I could hardly use any weight.

Who cares how much weight you use?? Nobody's judging you. Just use the bar if need be.

But actually, although I don't know how severe your impingement is (I'm assuming shoulders), most guys can still get some functionally efficient exercise using cables directed at various different comfortable angles and by using a minimal range of motion (essentially whichever part of the rep doesn't hurt too much).

Full range of motion exercises are not necessary for a good workout, and for lots of people cause joint troubles much like yours.

The benefit of doing this is that by strengthening and bulking up the muscle, it usually reduces the impingement and realigns the shoulder. You may also find targeted rotator cuff exercises helpful for the same reasons.

But even with the shoulder issue, you should still be able to build a good pair of legs, which is half of the body.

As for the skinny fat thing, working out is, again, really the only way to overcome this. Ironically if you lower your oestrogen levels too far, you may end up with an even leaner looking face. Oestrogen tends to bloat/fill the face a little.

Are you aware of being hypermobile/bendy by any chance?
