Stupid nasal spray. Used it for too long and got my stupid nose dependent. Now when I don't take it my nose swells.

Oh well. Not a big deal in comparison.

Lol - there are much worse thing to be addicted to ;) I get addicted off and on to nasal spray because of allergies and smoking cigarettes. When I'm getting rebound swelling I find a little bit of Vicks vapo rub under my nose helps to minimize the swelling. It's usually the worst before bed so I'll take a hot steamy shower and then use saline, and while I'm still in the bathroom I'll out the Vicks under my nose while it's still warm and steamy so the vapors get in there before it swells back up. It works surprisingly well.

Not oxycodone!

I haven't been addicted yet to anything. I have a dependency to oxymetazoline, which is a nasal decongestant.

In a joking fashion, I mentioned it as "Oxy".

Jeez Erikmen, you're TOO supportive and kind hearted.

Whenever I talk to someone who may be in their 40's, all I can see is my stepfather. I expect them to be like him. Belligerent and such.

Isn't the case here.

I'll try the vapo! I just need to pick a couple days to cold turkey it so the swelling can stop.

I amvery involved in opiates. Luckily, even after binges, I have not developed addiction, just physical dependencies.

Right now I don't have any dependencies except for Oxymetazoline.

Last week in the hospital my lipase actually wasn't that elevated, at least not compared to the first time when I was in ICU for five days. However I am experiencing some complications this time around that were not present the last time...horrible constipation. I know this is TMI but last night the pain got so bad I had to give myself an enema because stool softener did absolutely nothing. The cramps were intense, felt like I was being stabbed from the inside relentlessly for hours. Now there is a lot of visible blood in my stool and I'm wondering if something else isn't going on. Didn't get much sleep at all, had to call in to work again...can't afford to go see the doctor so I'm not eating anything and just drinking water hoping it gets better.

I have grape seed extract, milk thistle, and turmeric, but wonder if I shouldn't hold off on the supplements until I am a bit better.

^That sounds horrible, CG. I really hope you get relief soon. Didn't they tell you to come back to the hospital if you saw blood in the stool? /

Sudden anxiety. 50 mins left of work, its so quiet I could be in a horror movie. I imagine shambling monsters hunting me through the stacks.
