I agree. Also, Trump is insulting the FBI. Trump is subtly pointing out that the FBI is corrupt and unwilling to do its duty because it is controlled by Obama/Clinton. What he is implying is that only an "enemy" rather than the current administration is capable of being honest with the American people. it's brilliant.

Obama was able to weaponize the IRS so I don't doubt his influence on the FBI. Though I'll say I think Comie is a decent guy. I wonder what bill promised lynch?? My guess is a scotus spot if crooked Hilary wins.

The Bush family for obvious reasons did better with the CIA than most presidents but they do too. Hence, the real powers behind the powers behind the powers want the email thing squashed. There is no evidence that Russia was the source of the leak. MSM and so-called 'experts' have no idea and are merely looking at old hacks. Bill Clinton's wife needs somebody to blame to deflect attention from her/DNC crimes. The whole reason for blaming the Russians instead of the Chinese is to desensitize the public to the idea of future military conflict with the Russians. Bill Clinton's wife is pissed that Putin blocked her plans for US bombing of Syria to get rid of Assad. She is also mad about Putin's action in the Crimea after a US-led coup of the democratically elected president fo teh Ukraine.

Her decision to deflect blame from a personal problem she cuased and blame the Russians is a foreshadowing of how she will react when the US has a real domestic crisis. Her tactics are blatant and transparent. She takes the American public to be fools and feels nothign but contempt for the public. She does not even bother to be sneaky any more.

The public predictably fall in behind her and insult everyone who does not. "It is the responsible thing for intelligent people to vote for her. Doing anythign else is the same as voting for Trump."

I second releasing everything any foreign powers have on our politicians. Pull back the veil for once.

I find both candidates to be incredibly scary for our future for their own reasons, but on the topic of what Trump says: I have a son. I find it incredibly angering that someone campaigning for the highest office in any country talks that way about other races, religions, creeds, or genders. I really don't want my son growing up to talk that way to people. It is just incredibly crass and very rude on many levels. If he becomes president and talks this way all the time I fear my son will believe that it is okay or acceptable to talk and act that way, or to take it further the right way to act. I also am angry about the way hillary talks and acts. I don't want my son to believe that being a sociapath is the way to get ahead considering the crimes against the democratic process she, and her staff, and the DNC have committed. It really shows that it doesn't pay to be a good person and act out of altruism due to the fact that the one person in this election acting out of true care and concern for his constituents was subject to fraud against his campaign. It is a sad world we live in when you have to put what presidential nominees do and say into context and find it incredibly hard to do so.

A lot of younger people aren't really in touch with the anxieties and contempts of the Cold War; maybe people a little younger than me are the youngest to remember being scared watching Soviet tanks and missle launchers on TV (even I am scared of my ex girlfriend more than a Nuclear holocaust when I hear the name Katyusha ) RT is seen as more and more reasonable and even more honest than CNN (which it is not, merely being an inversion of it.) I think a lot of the public, especially but not only the young, are as or more concerned with the Chinese especially due to the economic factors of them destroying so many of our jobs, which Trump has and will have ample recourse to. But yes, her husband's relatively cordial relationship with the "New Russia" aside, her attitudes towards and interventions in that part of the world (note again, not China) are positively terrifying. Don't tread on me indeed. The Russians (and the Syrians and even, or perhaps especially, the Iranians, natural enemies to Wahabi extremists) really are better allies in the fight against ISIS and terrorism in general than we have already, only the tail ✡ that wags the dog will never allow it.

I'm dubious about this idea that Russian state hackers accessed and leaked those emails. Maybe they did - but i doubt we'll ever really know.
I've read some analysis speculating that Russian oligarchs may be favourable to a Trump presidency, and that a Trump administration, in turn, may be much more sympathetic to Russian interests than any US President in a very long time.
Seems like a long bow to draw though. Again, i'd be surprised if we ever find out the "truth" - but who knows?

And yeah, it's funny how people seem to think of RT as any kind of reputable news, being an arm of the Russian state-run propaganda machine, directly targeting the West; but i guess i see its value in the current media landscape - as it offers a different perspective.

Yes of course propaganda has really become much more artful overtime. Myself on issues that I am more than casually interested in I tend to consume media from is diverse positions as possible; well my most vocal position around here may be anti-Zionism if not outright anti-Semitism (in the pre-Hitlerian sense) I read their propaganda faithfully as well understanding it as such; the truth, politically anyway, is like a point in n-dimensional space with the relative hue and cry of the established (or for that matter radical) Left and Right providing merely a x and a y. Surely in such thing as an American presidential election you will find no such thing as truth, only interests and puppet-strings.

I feel the same way. I was born in 82. I remember hearing stories about people building bomb shelters, and my elementary school cafeteria had a huge sign on the way about being a bomb shelter. Hysteria is a great way to subject your population to your will. I do think russia would be an excellent ally in fighting ISIS. If we concentrated and coordinated our efforts we could at least put a serious enough hurt on them to lower the incidences of terrorist attack, thus making the middle east a little more peaceful (It would still be a bombed out shell full of terror and insecurity, but at least it would be safer.) It is true, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I don't see trump having any recourse against chinese destroying our jobs. Trump is an opportunist and chances are if he is made an offer, he will sell us out. The only recourse anyone has against our jobs being destroyed by any other country is to combat the laws that make doing business, or outsourcing our businesses/jobs a little more stringent. Right now it is open season on the american wage and american jobs because we life in a nearly completely capitalist society in which if there is a way to make more profit, it will be exploited. The other way I see that is not based on regulation of industry is to create tax incentives for small businesses that make them competitive against the multinational corporations that exist due to unchecked capitalism. Unfortunately, corporations are given these tax incentives as well, so it doesn't truly level the playing field...only raises profits for corporations which in turn if we are collecting less taxes makes it so we underfund things that actually need better funding.

Basically the opinion marked in bold I consider as 100 percent reasonable but it also reveals a characteristic property of western and - I don't want to troll anyone or play the blame game - especially US-american people. Our priorities are totally screwed, we (voluntary NATO supporters) pay too much attention to our national socialistic aka patriotic (you do not have to stay in that country and where do you take your right to be patriotic from when your ancestors nearly extincted the native, nature preserving culture on your colonized continent?) own interests, although we are living in paradise (if you discount the domestic racial issues) for several decades now with tunnel vision (the info was there, we were just too comfortable/side tracked to read it). Instead of recognizing the people we support by producing billions of tax payments and conduct unreflected behaviour (noone needs to have an own [ownership is poison for society] car or a house or a TV, drugs and education suffice ) as massmurdering proxies of us, even the moderate ones (moderate as in "moderate Syrian rebels"), we complain about their mannerisms and are afraid, that our offspring gets the wrong (as in real) picture about the country they are growing up.

In my pessimistic view the enduring maintenance of those egocentric thought processes is the reason why it is already too late now to reverse the catastrophy.
