Oh for sure. I've been both physically and psychedelically/metaphorically close to death so many times, and otherwise poisoned myself so many times, that cancer and chemo most likely were not as intimidating to me as they would be tobthe average person.

In a weird way too it helped that I was feeling pretty suicidal for awhile before I was diagnosed.

I can only just handle my life atm. I'll take any advice.

Be you and do what you love. Focus your energy on what fuels you.

3-MeO-PCP is an incredible drug. It made me 'paint' something, something I have never done. I always disliked art classes in school and skipped them. This is getting really interesting.

Yeah it really is, to me it's barely a dissociative in the sense of how I have thought about them before... it's like a brain augmenter, it helps you get "there" (when used right)... functioning optimally in terms of being able to channel the ever-present energy of the flow... otherwise known as art, in all its forms.

Man, I'm really stressed. Big changes in life always stress me out. On Sunday I'm driving 9 hours to the training site for my new job. I get to live there during the 7 weeks of job training, but I need to be hunting for an apartment the whole time. It'll happen, and this is a killer opportunity. But the whole transition, moving 500 miles away and all, definitely has my stress level up.

Yeah transitions are tough. When I moved to where I live now, I knew it would be good, but for a while I was overwhelmed and stressed. Then I adjusted and I couldn't possibly be happier that I made the move, my life is so much groovier because of it.

I just did the biggest goof, and I really ought to know better now.... anyway I was typing a post here and it kept going and going....I selected all and copied many times to keep it in memory but my malfunctioning tablet activated the backspace and I couldn't get back to the writing, and when I went to paste it...it was one sentence that I moved and had forgot about needing it backed up. the writing was unreal, the way words were flying through my vocabularium-imaginarium creating all manners of possible connections, words, tons of hilarious phrases of hyphenated phrases that spontaneously came into existence. Took the most humorous/humourous paths and branched them etc. and the path just kept going and going for 7-10 pages in a new reference peak for lucidity....so.

Now for the million dollar question....there's no way to get it back is there? Maybe is it on the BL server somewhere in a temp file?

I know, I should know better, I have lost dozens of songs, many hours of writing, but this is the first time I started a creative writing that felt super special because I wasn't going to be in that staate of mind for long, and sure enough I feel like a regular fumbling human again, trying to remember as many of the lovel things as I can but the way it all flowed together, that was magic I won't be able to recreate.

At any rate I'm strictly in good docs from here on, for everything

Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that can be done. That sucks! Usually I write long posts in a separate text editor in case something like that happens. Maybe not possible on a tablet, not sure.

Hello fellow PD heads :)

in case anybody wondered, I moved to a new flat 10 days ago and hadn't had an internet connection yet, hence my absence. but I want to spend less time online anyway and this is kind of a late new years resolution I guess. so I'll be around less than before in order to get things done, especially regarding university.

I hope everybody is well :)

Hey man, nice to see you drop by, take care of your shit, that's always top priority. :)

Yes. Focus on university. Plenty of time for messing around when you get your career on path. That way you can spend your Friday afternoons working from home tripping your nuts off on 4-ho-mipt.

Haha, funny you say that, I was just giving that advice last night, while tripping my nuts off on a tryptamine cocktail (including 4-HO-MiPT) and dissociatives and jamming with my great friend and various people over at their band house, channeling music from the aether until 6:30 in the morning, on a weekday, with work at 9am the next morning. I can do things like that because I prioritized school while I was in it and got a computer science degree, and now I work from home, so I can roll up in my office with 2 hours of sleep, looking like I've just spent the night partying with funky psychedelic unicorns and road-weary for it, with no worries. :)

There's something to be said for setting yourself up well. It's funny, I actually don't really even care about programming anymore, but it's a skill I have that let me build a pretty righteous life for myself here instead of clocking into some job for most of the hours of my days, and I wouldn't be able to do it if I hadn't gotten that degree. They're still worth something... it makes a big difference in your life if you're able to do something to make money with your time that doesn't suck.

I took a vacation in Yosemite earlier this month, lemme tell you, there was such a wonderful variety of wildflowers and stuff when I went, I'll post about it soon.

What tryptamines did you mix with the 4-HO-MiPT? I loved it on its own but am very keen to try some combos. I have some 4-HO-MET already, but also 4-AcO-DMT on the way. Or maybe mix with some PEA?

Hello everyone! Long time lurker here, used to have another account... blah blah

Anyways I had my first experience in an isolation tank today, and it was pretty incredible. I highly recommend this to anyone psychedelically inclined. It was funny they advise you not to take anything before going in the tank. The man I was talking to reminded me when I brought up John C. Lilly. I went in totally sober, but I bet taking a psych or dissociation would potentiate the effects by an order of magnitude. Maybe there's a better place to post this, but I am most comfortable in PD social, and I figured some would be interested.

Take care all.

Starting the intensive training school for my new job tomorrow morning. This is going to be a rough couple months. If you have any to spare, send some good vibes my way friends.

^Vibes sent... I got a surplus at the moment so have as many as you want!

Any of y'all ever eaten the mushrooms chicken of the woods? It grows here around this time of year in the central Appalachians on trees. It's literally the best mushroom I've ever had, by a huge margin. It tastes very much like chicken except more rich and delicate, better than chicken in fact. It's quite meaty and it even strings off when you pull it apart like chicken meat does. My girl went camping last weekend and found a bunch of it and we've been eating it in every meal... I've been making sauces and just simply pan frying it with butter. The other day we went hiking all day and foraged some wild indian cucumber, ramps, and wood nettles, and used that along with a lemon and some balsamic vinegar to make an awesome sauce with noodles and chicken of the woods and broccoli, totally unique dinner, never tasted anything like it before. it was so good. :) I fucking love where I live. <3

I mixed like 10mg of 4-AcO-DiPT and 25mg of 4-AcO-DET, along with maybe 5-10mg of 4-HO-MiPT (I scraped the bag, there's a good bit caked on but I didn't weigh it), and some MXE (just about 20mg to help the tryptamines settle in). We went by feel, and it was a great result, it was a pretty intense trip (conversing was pretty much out until the peak wore down) but we spent all of our energy playing music and the music was so much fun, and so creative. :) We had some non-trippers jamming with us at various intervals and they were blown away, really got on the level too. My fingers were doing things I didn't know they could do. They knew we were tripping and they felt like they got to be a part of it through playing with us.

Hey man, how's it going? I've always wanted to go to Yosemite. What were the highlights?

Hey, welcome, glad you joined! :) I spent a few hours in an isolation tank once, I was high on weed, but it was quite an intense experience. I could imagine being on a psychedelic in there could be really intense indeed.

Thank you. I know you love jam-based music so I present to you this relevant track:

Enjoy!

^^^ Damn right, buddy! I saw them live; 5th row seats... psilocybin roarin' through my system. Stewart Copeland was staring at me while he played. It was incredible. At Purdue University.

I actually hosted the 2nd busiest website dedicated to the band back in the day.

That would have been Nov 3rd, 2001 at Elliott Hall of Music. A sound engineer I met recorded the show and I have a double-CD recording (amazing fidelity) of the entire show. If I find it, I will upload it.

Xork, pretty sure I played some Oysterhead for you in the past.
It's got Trey from phish on guitar, Les Claypool on bass and Stewart Copeland of the Police on drums.
Pretty heady little supergroup.

Anyone know a good portable vaporizer? I'm thinking of ordering Flowermate 5 Pro. Is there anything better for that price?

Oh yeah I remember that now.

I saw Dick Dale recently. Surf guitar legend, he is like 78 now. My uncle played me some of his stuff a while back and got me turned on to him. Forgot he was comming to town and the show sold out, so we decided last minute to drive a few hours and see him.

It was fucking mindblowing. I was on a bit of 3 meo pcp and hit the wax pen before he played. Just watching him play, imagining it a bit faster and heavier, and I am seeong the punk rock I grew up on. He talked a bit, stuff about health problems, feeling embarrassed by eople trying to donate mondy to him, and getting oit there making music/touring to make ends. You could tell by the way the bass player and drummer watched him, he made up half the setlist on the fly and would jam when appropriate.

Last two songs were a ridiculous instrumental cover of Amazong Grace, and then mizerlou (from pulp fiction soundtrack)

My uncle said it was the best concert he ever saw. I enjoyed it much more than I expected. Walked away knowing I saw a legend, and saw the roots pf the music I am most into nowadays.

If would reccomend anyone into this type of shit to go see him while you can.

Never heard of a Flowermate, and I'm not an expert on vapes, but I'm quite enjoying using my Sherlock Glass VaporGenie for flower lately.

Right on man. :) I'll check him out.

Misirlou, that's what that song is called! My roommate had put the Beech Boys cover on a CD we had been playing on this pontoon boat when we were out on a lake two summers ago and my God is it befitting of such moments!

Last night I went out drinking on the island with some friends and my girlfriend, and it was a grand ol' time save for one thing: one of my old friends gets very belligerent when he gets drunk, so I was constantly trying to keep people from getting in fights with him, telling them "Sorry, my friend is just really drunk, don't listen to him," and the like. My other friend and I had to plead with the bouncers not to kick him out.

He ended up creeping out my girlfriend and hitting on her/harassing her a bunch at some point and I'm very pissed at him now. This is not the first time I've had a 'friend' start hitting on my girlfriend when hammered, and I'm getting quite sick of it (although admittedly it's indicative of her being quite the catch!). She says she won't be going out drinking with my friends again if said belligerent friend is present, and that really sucks... I'm gonna have to have a chat with him about his drinking, it always gets him into trouble and at this point he's on the verge of losing his best friend (me) if he doesn't chill the eff out about it. I don't take kindly to other guys hitting on my woman, especially if they know me. It's like a slap in the face.
