2016 American Presidential Campaign

This is not true. The Superdelegates' job is to select whichever candidate is the stronger candidate to run against the Republican nominee. With the current favorable/unfavorable polls, the amount of Democrats and Independents pledging not to vote Hillary, and the head-to-head polls between each Dem candidate and the Republicans, the strongest candidate appears to be Bernie Sanders.

just because they can switch doesn't mean they will. its not as if sanders only needs a few superdelegates to switch over, he needs nearly all of them.

also, it wasn't a 31 delegate win by clinton that ended the race, it was a trouncing by clintion in a state that sanders couldn't afford to lose.

i guess that makes both nsa and you painfully stupid.

Yes you liberals do have a monopoly on intelligence I admit.

Yet you guys can't seem to come up with an original thought, nor ever go against the almighty "narative" passed down from the world banking cartels to divide society by race, gender (oops I forgot that's a choice not biology) etc.

A stratified society is easy to control.

Keep getting high on socialist pipe dreams, the banks will always win when your side engages in divisive identity politics, refuses to accept reality and says you can choose to be another race sex or species, runs kangoo courts in universities any time a crazy girl wants attention, and above all wants to disarm the population so the corporate owners of the government can dominate us under Marshall law.

The world banks and multinational corporations love you guys. They have perfected the art of propaganda and have an army they can not only crush with wage slavery but also serve as an army that will allow them to completely consolidate power.

As you sip Starbucks coffee while reading Huffington post and rail against corporations, as you either hate on the white male devil or get on your knees apologize for being one and get fucked in the ass, you are your own worst enemy.

If the left remains unchecked, there will be a world dictatorship.

Tote glizzys.

gender (oops I forgot that's a choice not biology)
you might be confusing "gender" with "sex". also, most people don't seem to choose their gender...

If the left remains unchecked, there will be a world dictatorship.
in my opinion we already have the dictatorship of capital.

What makes NY a must-win for Sanders?

set aside the absurd idea that sanders is going to be the first person in u.s history to convince hundreds of superdelegates to ignore the vote totals. before ny he needed to win approx 58% of the votes going forward. now i am unsure what the % is, but whatever it is he's not going to reach it.

perhaps i am wrong and he'll win each of the remaining states 60/40. or somehow win both PA and CA 70/30 - cause that is what he'll have to accomplish to end up with nearly as many votes as clinton.

The one and only time the Superdelegates had to decide a truly contested convention was in 1980. Saying he'd be the first person to do it makes it sound like Superdelegates decide the nominee all the time. They don't.

Hillary Clinton has made herself practically unelectable with her lies, flip-flopping, and attitude towards Sanders and his supporters. Her unfavorable rating is the highest of any presidential candidate since they started the poll almost 40 years ago. Maybe you think the Democratic Party will be confident in her ability to win the general election but I don't. Their goal is to get a Democrat into the Whitehouse. Nothing supercedes that goal. They will pick Sanders.

This isn't likely but it's possible, Hilary is unpopular.

In other news...

Unpopular is an understatement. She's the least popular presidential candidate of the last 40 years and her favorablity rating keeps heading south. Why would the Dems risk picking her when they know a Bernie win in the general election is virtually guaranteed? With the next president likely picking 2 Supreme Court Justices, they simply can't risk losing to the Republicans. Bernie is the only logical choice.

Because Bernie is a genuine person and not an elaborate puppet for the establishment. The majority of Hilary supporters are just like most Trump supporters, brain dead morons who view politics like they do sports.

I love all these polls that have Hilary beating trump In the general. I can see Hilary supporters and why they support her my brother inlaw supports her bc he is an injury attorney and that is who you support in that business. Getting his pic with bill next week even though he doesn't like her. Im glad for the good of the nation that somebody with such crack pot ideas as Bernie got shot down by the public. But he got way too close for comfort. Far leftist regimes have used young people as useful idiots for hundreds of years. They capitalize on the energy, passion, and uninformed nature of he typical youth. Promise pie in the sky things for free, blame the rich, and engage in other class/ race division politics. Trump is using generic tactics of the far right, but at least that's grounded in reason. A country isn't a country without borders and rule of law. The dude isn't racist and the more the idiots drone on about it the more they fire up the base and bring in people that are fed up with all the nonsense tactics used to divide people and shut down free speech. All IMO of course

only if you're not counting trump...

Trump is hated by most independents and democrats and a small amount of republicans. Hilary is hated by all republicans and half of independents and democrats. That might be more people.

I do agree, insofar as no one is protesting and disrupting Hilary events, yet.

The simple reason Hillary is doomed to lose the nomination is because people see her as a representative of "the establishment" and with record numbers of young people getting involved in this election, each instance of voter disenfranchisement is going to lower her favorablity rating. It's already dangerously low and I expect it to keep decreasing until she's seen as unelectable.

There are almost as many registered Independents as their are registered Democrats and Republicans combined in this country. Every closed primary we have is another primary these Independents are getting pissed they can't vote and blaming the establishment candidate. We're heading into May and the number of Dems and Independents that normally vote Democrat but refuse to vote for Clinton is increasing, not decreasing. Her campaign should he panicking over this. That's why paryy leaders are calling for Bernie to drop out. The longer he stays in, the more Hillary is exposed and the more voters shun her.

Two more months of this and she's toast regardless of what the delegate count is.
