2016 American Presidential Campaign

If Bernie doesn't win my County I'm calling fuckery. Hit almost 100 houses today and only met FOUR Hillary supporters. Met tons of Bernie supporters. Ranged from 21 years old to 85. That bitch is going down.

We have an app that gives us all the registered Democrats in an area, their names, ages, polling location, etc.

Your fanatically-Republican ass wouldn't even show up on my route.

I'm sure it was intended as a joke, but the smell of desperation in this statement is undeniable. The Clinton camp seems to be getting a little nervous.

Ironically, this was being done just as Flint was switching it's water supply.

Well, having taken part in multiple campaigns, that technology is nothing new. But I'm glad you are trouncing Hillary.

I guess it depends on what you consider "new." Mobile phone app stores didn't exist until 2008 and it took a few years for truly comprehensive voter database apps to be conceived, the data compiled, and all of it harnessed to its current effectiveness. So considering Senate terms are 6 years long, Presidential terms 4 years long, and House terms 2 years long, unless you've been actively involved in your state's Congress races every election cycle you couldn't have had access to this kind of technology more than once or twice. And even then there's no way the app would be nearly as comprehensive as it is now even 2 years ago.

So you're either full of shit or you guys did that shit on paper. Either way your dismissal of the technology as it is today is annoying.

I hope you're right. I've been holding out a tiny sliver of hope. I fear New York is the end; it has a lot of the same "feel" as South Carolina most of the people who vote are religious black people who vote based on marketing and name recognition, you can't change their minds no matter how hard you phone bank or canvas. I wish the youth would actually go out and vote instead of just attending rallies.

I used it on Ron Paul's campaign in 2012, and for Cruz this year. Ok, yeah I can see that I was annoying -- enough for you to make a point of it. My bad. Stay chill, 'Eric.

Edit: I do campaign for state offices, and have even run myself, but never used the tech for those.
 
I have tons of respect for anyone out there trying to get informed and to inform. Great job guys, you are setting a great example for some young people out there starting to get active.

I'm still quite doubtful of Cruz's intentions, but I don't know a real fucking thing about him other than his record, which I personally don't agree with. I'm also very doubtful of Clinton's intentions. She is such a freaking robot, and robots with AI are not to be trusted, and robots which are remote controlled are simply that.

Cruz family are Christian dominionist who believe Cruz is appointed by God to lead America through the tribulation. He scares the hell out of me more than any candidate.

That is sort of the way I feel too, but how do you come to this conclusion? I haven't researched him all the much because we are so far apart in regards to our base ethics that I could never vote for him.

Just coming from the Christian Dominionist backround is enough not to vote for him even if he himself doesn't come out as Dominionist. He works with and gets support from Christians who believe in putting LGBT people literally to death.

He parrots tea party objectivist b.s. wants to get rid any sort of social safety nets, bomb the shit out of other countries, get rid of the IRS completely.

Also just as a person nobody likes him not even his own family. He can't even work with his own party much less democrats. I would vote for Trump or Hillary a thousand times over Cruz.

How does that fake smile not make anybody sick? And the fact that she has to be "right" all the time makes me mad. She comes across as the most fake candidate in US history. How do her minions, the old people and low information minority voters, not see this? Was it that the leaded gas they were exposed to fried their brains? How can anybody vote for her? Entitled/grasping/dishonest malignant narcissist type people do not look out for the needs of others. I just lost my appetite seeing that photo in the time it took me to post it.

The NY election forcast ( HC 52% vs BS 40% depending on the survey) boggles my mind.

This is what I have suspected, but people over here are so concerned with Trump they are ignoring the snake in the grass. Hard to find anything on Cruz outside of the internet.

This is a very important fact that many people choose to forget.

The president has an amazing platform to spread good ideas. If the ideas are truly good they will take hold. A person can be cartered, but it is pretty hard to carter the ideals represented by social democracy. At least I hope.
