Mass sexual assaults on New Year's Eve

i'm just observing that you frequently and indignantly accuse people of things you do yourself every other post. there's a word for that. further, you get bent out of shape when somebody criticises your statements but you have no problem slinging insults and personal abuse. there's a word for that too.

The abuse comes in my direction more often than not, and so do the assumptions about my character and who I am. Like my username and people assuming it is a reference to the nazi ss.. no matter how many times I explain they are my real name initials. Or accusations that I'm a racist, homophobe, sexist.. basically whenever I've stated my opinion which goes against conventional wisdom I get some label thrown in my direction. And you think it's a coincidence this pisses me off? The assumptions about my nature are one thing but what pisses me off the most is that you can't hold a contrary opinion without automatically being seen to be a racist/homophone/right-winger or whatever.

because you're right and everybody else is delusional and wrong, right? there's a word for that too

Delusional, no, with the exception of this thread perhaps.. I would say that is warranted in this thread actually. Other times just right or wrong.. someone is inevitably closer to the truth on a topic than the other person.. and I believe I'm right on the topics where I assert my opinion. So what? If you believe something then bloody well stand by it, which is what I'm doing. I don't post such assertive opinions on topics I don't have the passion or depth of knowledge for.

Anyway, that's enough in your direction. I don't want to play this game with you alasdair.

Cologne sex attacks: Two men 'of an immigrant background' arrested with note translating threats to women
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/cologne-sex-attacks-two-men-of-an-immigrant-background-arrested-with-note-translating-threats-to-a6802421.html

"In total more than 120 criminal complaints were filed in Cologne alone, with a further 50 in Hamburg – many of them alleging that large groups of men were “hunting” female revellers during the New Year’s celebrations and subjecting them to sexual assault and robbery."

that's one analysis. another is that things you say on bl appear, to many, to be racist, homophobic or sexist.
And you think it's a coincidence this pisses me off?
if you know it to be untrue, why would it bother you in the slightest?

Apparently it is emerging this phenomena has not just occurred in Cologne..

Unprecedented sex harassment in Helsinki at New Year: police
http://news.yahoo.com/unprecedented-sex-harassment-helsinki-police-194548532.html

"Helsinki (AFP) - Finnish police reported Thursday an unusually high level of sexual harassment in Helsinki on New Year's Eve and said they had been tipped off about plans by groups of asylum seekers to sexually harass women.

Helsinki deputy police chief Ilkka Koskimaki told AFP:"There hasn't been this kind of harassment on previous New Year's Eves or other occasions for that matter... This is a completely new phenomenon in Helsinki.""

"Asylum seekers who met in central Helsinki to celebrate New Years’s Eve “had similar plans” to commit sexual assault and other crimes as those who targeted women in the Germany city of Cologne, Finnish Police have reported.

Three Iraqi asylum seekers have been arrested for committing sexual assaults during the celebrations in the city’s Senate Square, where some 20,000 had gathered.

Security personnel reported “widespead sexual harrassment” during the celebrations, police added, with women complaining that asylum seekers had groped their breasts and kissed them without permission."

NYE Sex Assault Scandal Grows To Three Other Countries, More German Cities
http://dailycaller.com/2016/01/08/nye-sex-assault-scandal-grows-to-3-more-countries/

More German cities and even other European countries are reporting similar “Sex Mob” attacks on New Year’s Eve.

Major cities in Austria, Finland and Switzerland are reporting similar, but smaller, events like what happened in Cologne. The number of attacks across Germany are also growing, with Hamburg reporting at least 53 cases of harassment. Authorities around Europe are cautious about drawing comparisons to Cologne. The Swiss city of Zurich had 24 separate cases along the river in the city center. Six of the women described the perpetrators as a “crowd of multiple men with dark colored skin,” according to a police report Thursday.

Let's keep it civil. State your position calmly and intelligently. Don't attack others or even be snide with them. Conversations like this are a lot more enjoyable when people are discussing the issues rather than flaming others for their viewpoints.

^ I don't know if anyone here is claiming that an influx of immigrants won't bring problems. Immigration has to be done in a controlled manner to make sure the problems are containable. The issue is that there are massive numbers of displaced people that have to go somewhere. There has to be an effort to contain this mess and that means accepting some refugees, and yes, possibly dealing with some issues such as these. So long as the inflow of immigrants is controlled and there is an effort to weed out the bad apples, this is a reasonable solution to the crisis.

if a women is in public without a headscarf she is a slut, and deserves to be assaulted, in Islams eyes

Do you have a source for this?

As far as I know, depending on the strain of Islam, a headscarf may be required or not (compare and contrast Orthodox Judaism and some strains of Christianity). I'm not aware of any mainstream Islamic belief that a woman without a headscarf is an acceptable rape victim.

Is it though? Do you really accept that it is the responsibility of the ordinary men and women of the host nations to shoulder the toxic people who come from outside the nation? I can not resonate with this, especially given the nature of the toxic individuals coming over. Romanian pick pockets is an annoyance and pisses people off, but it is something people will generally tolerate. Young Islamic men who treat women like fucking dirt and have no qualms about aggressive sexual assertiveness, leading all the way up to organized rape gangs (Rotherham, Oxford, god knows where else) that picked up thousands of young white teenagers, that is a whole different story. As a man I can not accept that our women should be targets for these people, especially our young women.

It appears as complacent submission to me. Yeh the refugee crisis sucks, but what is the point in trying to sink two nations as opposed to just one. Let the nations Syria has a cultural affinity with shoulder this burden, not our European nations of different cultural compatibility. I just do not care, I choose the safety and prosperity of our nations over theirs, and I make no apology for that.

If you think it is unreasonable for people to criticise you for your views - yet you contribute vitriolic posts like this - then i must call your sincerity into question.
I think it important that people challenge ideologies like the ones you are pushing here - especially in a place as inclusive, international and with the stated purpose of bluelight. I think there would be something wrong with this online community if stuff like that wasn't debated and dismissed as "rubbish" by other forum members.
I'm not talking about censorship or singling people out, either. I don't think being "controversial" means you deserve to be treated differently either way.

...but - y'know, hate speech is against the BLUA, and you're using this topic as an excuse to say things that easily qualify as hate.
But you know that, and said yourself that you say things to get a rise.

So maybe while you're being frank with us, you could give us some hints about when you are trolling - or when/if you are being serious, so we don't waste time trying to engage with you in an intelligent manner - or with the kind of respect that people do extend to you the vast majority of the time?

What on earth are you talking about. How was anything in that post vitriolic!? How was anything in that post hate speech!? You're seeing what you want to see in my posts mate, and I'll say it again it pisses me off because you're assuming you know who I am when you have no idea.

I've had two BL users msg me this week apologizing because they did what I just said you're doing, which is projecting on to my posts what you want to see.

There was nothing in that post that was vitriolic, and certainly not hate speech. Perhaps you assumed that by "toxic people" I meant all the people coming over, that's the only thing I can see in there.. which is not that at all - Toxic people as in the toxic individuals who, as this thread is pertaining to, sexually assaulted numerous women. Not everyone.

Hey junk I guess we shouldn't be to surprised about this guy spewing hate he is named SS after all!

Christ almighty.. for the last fucking time SS are my actual initials.

Do you try to sound like Donald Trump on purpose?

Do you try to sound like Donald Trump on purpose?

What? I have absolutely nothing in common with Trump. Our views may somewhat converge on the issue of inviting large numbers of culturally different people into our nations, but that's it.. all I know about Trump is his hair sucks, he owns a golf course in Scotland, and everyone getting all twisted about his recent comments.

And answer my last post please re: vitriol and hate speech.
