Fav benzo

actually, and this is more of a question. i was having my first ever amph induced panic attack, bpm was like 280 or some crazy shit,
anyways, they stuck and iv with a sedative (brought me back to ground zro in like 0.0001 seconds flat). i obviously never asked what it was called, but it felt a hell of a lot different from any other benzos I've tried (maybe is was because of the IV, maybe not). Suggestions?

@ keeping - It'll probably have been Lorazepam as it is very hard-hitting and quick acting when IV comes into play (I guess mostly every substance is when IV'd). That's usually the go-to Benzo when quick sedation is badly required :)

And as I will always add when it comes to threads of this nature - Nimetazepam. Never experienced such a comfy, blissful and euphorically euphoric Benzo 8o
It pains me oh so badly that it's not used over in the west :(

When i used to staff nurse, we always used IM Lorazepam to sedate violent patients under restraint, as its the only benzodiazepine with predictable muscular absorption. It would still take around 15 minutes to take effect tho, and was always only the prelude to IM Clopixol Acuphase, which would take alot longer to start working. It was the acuphase that always did the trick tho, 20 - 40 hours of major sedation / sleep, with a potent and latent antipsychotic effect that would give the patient a chance to get on a decent, hopefully oral, medication regime.

Of course the point of all this is that I could help myself to the odd ampule of Ativan 2mg - the only benzodiazepine that ive been able to use IV.

Surprised at the bad press for temazepams in here. My all time favorites were the green eggs, after that valium preferably the boxed uk brands. Xanax is forgetful stuff with no rec value at all. Never tried clonaz but benzo's to get messy are no use, valium for anxiety and temazepams for sleep (if your so lucky you can get them which for years I cant)

As the continued use of MDMA loses it's "magic", I have found Temaz to be the same.
ATM 20mg is the same as 60mg just with a tardy sedation.

The utter relaxing bliss of Diaz never fades though for me :)

Never seen enough temazepam to loose the magic sadly. Activis or other uk brand diazepam always does the trick though you're correct :)

^^i find the same thing..clonazapem is great at ridding anxiety while not making you tired..

i dont have a favorite benzo as i still have yet to figure out what people ENJOY about them..sure, they are great for anxiety but they hold zero recreational value for me..i wish they did but they dont, there is no euphoria or party effects for me..

I really love Clonazepam, especially Clonotril-2 by torrent, but for potency I'll go with either Midazolam or Triazolam. They do really know out you.

Interesting replies, it's always diazapam I've used the most. I've had Xanax and Temazapam but find them hard to get hold of regularly. Am I missing out on things lol?

I actually prefer lower dosed benzo's I think to higher dose ones. Much easier to stay reasonably in control.

1) flubromazepam
2) temazepam
3) diazepam
4) nitrazepam
5) etizolam
6) pyrazolam
7) xanax
8) diclazepam

can't remember rest. done some as tester that didn't get released :) :P

Temazepam for me. Then again, there are big gaps in my benzo education, namely clonaz and alpraz.

I think its a nickname for a uk po 10mg diazepam tablet. They seem to use the orginal roche valium colour scheme on all the generic tablets in this country. White for 2mg, yellow for 5 and blue for 10.

My idea for a purple and green striped 40mg tablet has so far been ignored by NICE.

We all know that pills with vibrant colours are stronger. I'm always vaguely disappointed in white tablets.

Thought you were stopping benzos kota?

I spoke to my GP, and she said that, because of my epilepsy and other muscle tension problems, I'll always have to be on one benzo or another. What's a slice off a cut loaf?

Are you given emergency Midazolam for your epilepsy?

I don't have a regular script and have never had it p.o., but I have had it injected in the past. Alas, I don't remember anything about it.
