raas do you have a 9600 baud modem as an internet connection
I prefer codeine, but I'm being prescribed tramadol for nerve damage and carpel tunnel. 2x 50mg capsules x 4 times a day tops. So I'm not taking any more than 400mg in a shorter time frame - about 2-3 hours. It's very subtle and a "comfortable" feel, quite chilled and a bit starry-eyed, spaced. I'm having a few drinks with them and my usual meds.
Subtle says it all, it a very background ease if you know what I mean. All ok for a social type of day like today. I don't always look for a drug dunt - easy going is nice enough and functional
Also works well for the nerve damage :D
That's what I'll be getting. I think the codeine was 60mg four times a day, but I've taken 120mg of that a few times, and enjoyed it's subtle contentednessnone of them are as nice as the fentanyl and midazolam combo you get given in recovery, or the magic green button (also fent) I'll hopefully get for a few days after, not sure of the dose on that thing but three clicks guarantees a short nap if I remember correctly

Thank fuck for heroin, whiskey, benzos and The Clancy Brothers. Amen.
This day will soon be out of my way.
Hugs for you soon ;p
Can a fella not have a moan these days![]()
Josh, I'm mindful not to take the piss with pain killers as sometimes I REALLY need them so I'm careful with my recreational use of them and don't build a tolerance. You must be the same (even more so!), you have to watch out with them to ensure they're going to work when you need them.
How's things going Josh?
Oh yeah, I completely agree with that. Most of my pain is inflammation related, and opioid painkillers don't touch it, so I'm really only given them for wound pain associated with being cut open with a scalpel, which seems to fade by itself after a week or so anyway. Put it this way, I've not been back to the doctors for more painkillers after the ones I get after I'm discharged (last time this was a 28 box of 30mg codeine). But I do manipulate my dose times so I can take more in the evening. Usually by skipping my morning dose and sleeping all afternoon.![]()

How do they treat your inflammation pain Josh?
They remove the inflamed organ
I've got another infection, either a fistula or abscess. It's meant that I have felt sick (although I've not actually puked yet, thanks ondansetron!) all day, and been quite shivery at times. I also get sporadic problems with my knees and hips, not sure if these are rheumatic pains (linked with colitis) or whether the abscesses affect nerves leading to my legs. Either way I didn't sleep at all last night, can barely walk today, and am feeling pretty sick oh the whole.
... But I can't remember the last time I wasn't ill at Christmas. It stresses me out. I know there are only anecdotal links between stress and autoimmune disease, but it certainly feels that way to me.
