I will say on abortion: Men will shut up when we don't have to pay child support for a baby we don't want. If the woman can choose either or the guy shouldn't just be dragged along without a say. I don't know if we will shut up really but you have to see the delimma.

And your cry for people of color, speaking of echoes, sounds like PoC crying about not being the superhero in the new Hollywood movies or not being represented in the media. You gotta get someone in there to represent you. It is not a creative white dudes (or Jewish person's or) job to for the sake of a group of people pretend to identify with them and make a character so that they can have good models to look to. It's not the videogame designers job to say "I want to make the hero look like my ideal, but what about what others want? What about minorities? I guess maybe there is that pressure now"... Get more PoC there. It will happen. It's not my or the white persons job to go out of the way to represent you or hold your hand along the way. And to say Whites views on race relations don't matter is just asking for it. Though, I have wanted to post a few opinions from Blacks... But I agree with them for the most part, and they seem to agree with me. And it would probably not be what some would want to hear on here.

How easy would it be to find 12 people in Missouri that have not heard anything about the case? How realistic is it to expect impartiality in this case?
I'm not convinced grand juries are in any way appropriate to adjudicate such things.

even if, for the sake of argument, you were to just assume that is true, it would still be irrelevant from a legal standpoint. no US citizen can be indicted for a capital crime without it being presented by a grand jury unless they waive that right via plea bargain. that's a right that is expressly granted to us by the 5th amendment of the constitution.

If you watch the news or read the news, you would see White people and Mexicans also get shot by the police when they are unarmed. It just doesn't get any media coverage because the media cannot attach a racial narrative to it. If anything if I was a police officer I would be more likely to shoot a white person attacking me because then I wouldn't have to worry about being branded a racist for defending myself, wouldn't have to hear Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton speak and esentially tell the country we are back to the Jim Crow era, I could avoid all of that because to much of the media a white life simply isn't worth as much as a Black life.

If anything whiteness is criminal, I could never get away with coming into a discussion whether it be on an online forum or a roundtable discussion at the University and say there was far too many minorities discussing what I deemed to be a "white issue". That would be racist. Therein lies the double standard. Maybe we can have a "political correctness" committee to tell us all what are the issues that only "PoC" can discuss, because they are not clear to me.
 
I haven't responded to many of Escher's posts, that I remember. Are you referring to Kenickie? Los was talking to Escher. I almost corrected legalizeall for saying 'man' to her- to Kenickie, but let it slide as sometimes that's how it's done-- man can be ambiguous. Right now I just think that you, spacejunkster, are just being a special BOY.

I just think there is a time and place for humor. Maybe we got off to a bad start but you kinda appeared here in an odd way. I guess it was all a big joke but that can be hard to tell over the internet. I think its a serious topic that doesnt need to be lightened up. Im not a lil homie either, sorry. Oh well, no hard feelings from me.

Great find... He doesn't strike me as the homicidal racist cop that the media and race-baiters wanted me to believe. :\ Too bad he's going to have to live life looking over his shoulder and worried about his family now. If I were him I would probably move to the northwest where the population is predominately white.
 
Good for him coming out so soon to tell his side. He could have just laid low especially since so many people want his blood.

The cops story was corroborated by several witnesses. Those witnesses were people of colour which makes their opinion valid. Theres little doubt as to what occured now.
