^ I just got some decent shit from my PC but I'm out south. On the way back i saw a horrible accident on 175th and Cicero. It was a head on collision. I didn't see it actually happen but there was ambulances and everything. I would be very surprised if any one made it out alive. It was really bad.

About to get some stuff from the south side, shit out south is consistently better. Basically all phones out south. But be careful i had batmans that were great and then 3 days later I had batmans from my back up guy and that shit had me puking it was so strong. Same lookin powder, sawbucks. They are like a mile from each other too.. So you never know
 
I agree I spent a few years all over out west and the south side has always been better. Especially the south burbs. Like you said you have to know somebody though. They don't serve off the blocks at all.

Im back in Chicago for the summer and it seems like my usual spot on the west side hasn't been too good... im getting the batmans but it seems like the bags are super fat but the quality just isn't there... ill put 2-3 in a cooker and even with 1.5 cc of water its still like soup and can't suck it up for shit... I was getting the dollar signs and the black bags (saws and dubs) last summer and they were fire! Anyone having a similar experience??
 
From my experience, for the last 10 years westside is all about "fat bags" which just means dormy as fuck. As things got more disorganized the product just went to shit. And is it me or whenever I hear dub it just means ripoff or way more cut? I got to the point when I hear a homeboy say dub they instantly lose credit and I just move on. Is it the dealers or runners who are supporting their own habit who do this? It's bad business and just quick short term money thinking out there. Good methadone clinic suggestions in the northwest suburbs? Anyone ever have a shrink or an addiction medicine specialist prescribe methadone pills or does that just not happen? I mean I could od on subs just as easily as I could on done, just wouldn't be as fun I guess. It's hot in everyway this weekend, be safe
 
Sometimes those fat ass bags aren't even all dorm. On many occasions i used to taste that distinct xanax taste in them. A lot of them especially the big dubs that are all mix used to make me sneeze a ton for like a minute straight too. I'm with you dude i don't even want a "fat" bag. I've seen then literally packed full before like a little pillow lol. Fuck that..
 
I never fucked with "dubs" cause they were either a ton of dorm or suburb dimes. Anyways, still clean on 'done here. About to move up to 4 take homes a week. And I just landed a full time corporate job - base salary, commission, and BENEFITS! 40 hours a week, corporate office. I'm fucking PUMPED. I start monday morning!

This is kinda a life changing opportunity for me as I haven't even finished a degree yet.. I was looking for jobs for the summer, and they were hiring full time and part time, and I said to myself "lets go for it" and I applied for FT only.. and I 'wow'ed em', so to speak, in my interview, and landed the FT corporate job.

So yeah, thats about all thats going on in my life at the moment. Feeling pretty great/proud of myself (Sorry, not trying to brag/sound like a dochebag or anything, seriously) Hope everyone else is doing well too. I'm sure nothing has changed as far as the scene in chicago.. rocks, blows, heat, and hustling. That pretty much sum it up?

Nah, the thing about subs is that due to the ceiling effect and such it doesn't cause much respiratory depression, so it's a lot safer than methadone. A person with a lower tolerance will get sick from too much, but is very unlikely to die from it. And if a person with a tolerance takes a ton of them it doesn't matter since the ceiling effect means it doesn't do anything past 32mg (now they are saying the ceiling dose is lower which I believe to be true, but that's a different discussion).

Fuckin ay man good for you. I have read your posts for years (well I read years worth of posts) and you should be very proud of yourself. I am not sure if it was you so forgive me if I'm wrong but the posts would be like "8 blows down 15 more to go" and look at your post now. It is remarkable. I wish anyone who shits on methadone could see this. Just take everything in stride with the new job and a day at a time. Really rough or stressful work days has always been my trigger or excuse to say fuck it and go balls out. On the flip side doing an awesome job at work would give me an excuse and cause for celebration, reward myself with a jab or a gram or raw. Just remember no matter what your health is what's important. Great job again and brag all you want, we are all proud of you. If I didn't lose my ass including California chrome in all my exacta and trifecta bets at the Belmont stakes today I would buy you a hooker.

Thank you tommyboy. I should really know this and feel stupid for not. 32mg is just crazy. Anything more then 12 seems like overkill. I have stretched a single 8mg strip 4 days switching from a 1-1.5 gram a day binge for 3 months, and would work 16 hour days semi comfortable. Of course after the 4 days I went right back at it and repeat. Even my buddy who would shoot the same would only need 12 mg the first day and then 4 mg the next few days. Subs just don't kill that urge that craving that need. You know what I mean?
 
Subs have never worked for me except when I was scripted back when I got off pain killers.(which was about 6 yrs ago) I successfully tapered off of them over a 6 month period and was fine. Once I started with the dope a couple years later, the first time I tried to take a sub, which was 48 hrs after my last use, I got way more sick than I already was. I had to go buy and do a whole jab to get past subs blocking effects to get well again. The next and last time I tried it I was in a detox and I refused the sub for 3 days until one nurse finally talked me into taking it, and same thing, it made my dope sick 3 times worse, and it got so bad that 4 hours after I took it, the same nurse had to call an ambulance to take me to the emergency room. I could just see in her face how scared she was because of how much more sick I got from it.
 
Yeah the spots have kind of gone to crap... It too bad because last summer they same two spots I usually go to which are both literally one block from each other use to have fire $ sign bags and black bags. At both spots there'd never be less than like 30-40 ppl waiting in the alley to get served. I've gotten good dubs there that were really worth the money and drive (I live in n burbs so going to the west side is an hour and a half trip). I've kind of given up on the W side unless I can find something really worth going back for. I have a girl that will deliver to me and it's pretty good but the bags are small hence very expensive...

OpiateGuy - you mentioned you found a corporate job with salary, commission, and benefits? Congrats! I assume this is a sales position since you said commission. That's what I actually do. I work for a large medical corporation doing inside sales. Congrats though it's not easy getting a good job w a corporation unless you have a degree. I'm on methadone too actually and it really helps during the week since I don't have to worry about being sick and all. Anyway best of luck to you!
