Went on a two month binge slamming a gram to a gram and a half of black a day most of it was speedballsor goofballs too. I decided to head to hab but they told me it would cost me 500 a day for 10 days for a suboxone taper. I Ipaid 300 for 30 sub strips ans 30 bars planning on doing my own taper, the subs were gone in less than a week. My last dose was 32mg (you read that right) four days ago, and I still only have the mildest of symptoms.

I. Ave a bottle of xanax that im not even taking.. well I am, but im taking reasonable amounts. So m y questiom, y no kick?

Prolly cus h wds only last 3-5 days ( not mentioning paws ) and during the worst of the wds you were taking a lot of subs. The sub was blocking the worst of the h wds. That's my theory at least. Once the subs are all out of your system then you will prolly be feeling some paws ( post acute withdrawal) Or some mild wds from subs.

^ especially at that high a dose. I would expect the halflife to be several days.
Unless you got real lucky.
I hope it's the latter...

Yea, I agree with the above posters its still in your system so WDs should start soon from the subs. Keep us posted, no one is an anamoly when it comes to opiate WD.

I agree with the above posters that the high buprenorphine dose (32mg is staggeringly high) has left you with a long half-life and misery wont start til you work it out your system (around day 7 at a guess).

You cant escape WD from heroin by taking subs. All you can do is hold WD at bay with a substitute (like bup) and go through a milder WD that lasts longer.
Rather then the short but horribly violent WD from Heroin.

Or, it could be that you have been really lucky and due to the short period of use with the heroin (two months isnt that long) you havent gained much of a physical dependancy.

However, if you continue to use at such high doses, even for a short time, then you will wake up one day soon with a large monkey on your back.

Suboxone has at least a 3 day half life as far as I know and in my experience.

If you have any easy kick, your lucky. It gets worse each time.

One day you might not be so lucky to have suboxone or benzos to kick with.

, buprenorphine has a mean elimination half-life from plasma ranging from 24 to 42 hours
source

So useing a six half life approximation for elimination we would come up with between 144-252 hours to be eliminated or 6-10.5 days. Then add on three days so you should hit the end of the tunnel around day 9-14.

medications for acute opiate detox

The medications I would explore the use of for detox would be:
>Clonidine< DOSED EVER FOUR HOURS..

one of either
>NEURONTIN< >HERE< >HERE<
OR >Lyrica<
OR >phenibut<

>A BENZO BUT JUST AT NIGHT<
>a nsaid<
>melatonin<
tylenol
Senokot S is a stool softener and laxative. If you do not want the laxative you can go for strait stool softenerDioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate.

(Opi Withdrawal) what is the best comfort meds for opiate w/d?

I remember getting a clonodine rx along with promethazine and methocarbomol.

Now I just went to the doctor and straight up said I wanted to kick cold turkey and that is what I got.

It sure made things alot easier to handle.

Lopermide works pretty well for the runs. I also found protein shakes to help if I could not get anything down.

Senakot worked pretty well for me if you have the opposite problem from long term habituation.
