Building lean muscle for strength and endurance without bulking up: Advice wanted

I found some really interesting stuff in there.. I am type one diabetic so insulin dependent (detemir and aspart) and and since I became ill with this, a strange as it sounds, may have had a really positive effect on my life.

I also think that since I have to consume sugar at regular small intervals while I work out and already have the insulin on board, this is why I seem to recover so much faster after a set.. I seem to be able to work out much faster than most of the others.. not that im all macho about it and trying to out do people.. I just seem to be able to walk from one station to another and back, sorta doing two stations at once, and do not seem to need to rest very little compared to other people I see lifting. It just seems natural to me as I seem to recover one muscle while I'm working on the other.. any thoughts on this?

Thanks for the link GF.

Your not lifting heavy enough, or using enough volume...

Oh.... Plenty of brown rice... (answer to last question above)

I am switching to brown rice. I never really thought about it but I am guessing white rice is a simple carb?

I like the taste of brown rice better, so thanks for the tip GF.

I am just going to train and eat as healthy as I can afford.

I should probably bulk up my arms a bit.

I forgot to mention my dominant arm is not smaller than my other arm. I am almost ambidextrous except for drawing but am just as good with most things with the other arm.

I often switch arms when I do manual labor. (ie switching the hammer or saw from hand to hand when the dominant arm is tired)

So I increased my carbohydrate intake quite a bit and I am putting on weight, but slimming down at the same time.

I do have one issue with my body and that is I have pretty much no ass.

It is to the point where the is no cushion for when I sit down and I have trouble keeping my pants up no matter how tight I buy them so that really needs to change soon.

I am still pretty weak from withdrawals so most my exercise has been calisthenics, walking, and sex. I have been really horny since getting off opiates so I have been having sex 2-3 times a day almost everyday.

Would squats build my ass muscles up a bit or should I start doing some jogging as well?
