Years ago I had a mate who was in a band and his band all lived together in a shared house that was rented from the cities biggest slum landlord and their house had no central heating.
When winter got so cold & unbearable for them they ripped out the bannisters and handrail from the stairs and burnt them so they could get warm. It was like something out of the 'Young Ones'.

I have listened to several of Frank McCourts autiobographies on auidiobook. They are so inspiring. He grew up in desperate poverty in Ireland where his family would have to use their own furniture and then eventually parts of the wooden structure of their home to burn in order to keep warm in the winter. Downstairs was allways flooded with sewer water.

Despite his background, he went on to be very successfull, he never looked for reasons why something couldnt be done, he was allways looking for ways things could be done and achieved. He was a very bright kid and his autobiographies are extremely inspiring. They turned one of them into a movie "Angela's Ashes" starring Christopher Eccleston. I found that film just too slow moving, and couldnt get into it unfortunately.

Before that normally came the local fences :D - depending on your state of mind there would be a line of woodchips from missing fence to your front door. Does anyone remember coal trucks ?

No, i remember farmers dumping out loads of chainsawed logs onto our driveway, and then all the men of the family getting busy with axes chopping them up, and stacking them up in the garage to dry out. We all helped with that bit. I was too young and weak to effectively wield an axe at that point. I knew the village 'coleman' though. Not sure why we used wood instead of coal, we must have had our reasons.

The fireplace comes very handy in winter, wood logs are cheap and there's a lot of space to store them downstairs, it actually saves a lot of money on heating as you can switch off the heating for the whole house all throughout the day if the fire is on, only need the heating to be on a few hours in the morning so you don't freeze in the bathroom. Huge money saver

Minimum wage for kids is probably £4 or something. If i was to get a kid to do it id give them £20 or something anyway, which would probably take some time to make back the money saved by not burning gas. Im not keen on that idea at al tbh, gossip will spread all round the neighborhood.

Ive been doing that "Dad thing" of saving bits of leftover wood from DIY projects "that might come in usefull one day". None of it ever has lol, and ive got a shed full of bit of wood like that. If it actually works and i dont get any complaints ill be foraging for fallen big branches and going through skips and stuff. Ill start off with a very small experimental fire. Any birds nest or w/e in the chimney should soon run out of fuel and burn themselves out i would have thought. Its just an idea at this stage.

Keep an eye out for any pallets left over from any building work going on near you - it's always great for kindling

Shall i give this amT a try tomorrow or not... hmm

It's a bit like Marmite, you will either end up hating it or loving it, no middle ground.

Have you ever vaped drugs? May I suggest you try this ROA with AMT, it's very nice this way, less body high, less nausea, comes up fast, slightly more stimulating.

Not vaped. Only drugs ive smoked is weed and DMT

Yeah heard its very marmite. Might wait till my cold has gone completely, feeling a bit rough. I assume if the trip ends up going tits up i'll be in for an entire day of shit-ness

hip hop is amazing. i'll never get bored of 9th wonder, dj premier, gramatik, dilla beats

aMT is great. Unless you are prone to bad trips you should have a great time on the right dose I'd say.

For me the biggest problem with AMT is not mental but rather physical, orally it gives me this annoying body high, which is as bad as 2C-E, nausea, shivers and so on. The only time I didn't get it is when I did 60mgs oral and snorted some 4-HO-MET while it was still coming up, I just when all out and was too busy tripping my nuts off to realise I still had a body.

PRoblem with gettomg up so earl;y, did fuck all, had a cat nap ti;ll 5 now my sleep routines fucked agian

I think there is nothing better than a open fire, the ex had one (well everyone has one in the lounge over there) & every night we would get it going & only use it for light with a few candle's burning. Not only was it amazing for heat it looked amazing too, kinda romantic in a way.
My step dad used to have one too as the house she lived in was really old, only issue I aint happy about is cleaning 'em out but I see it a small price to pay for that kind of heat.

AMT is one on the list to do, I've read mixed things on it though & it seems to be a long one. These days stuff 12 hours long aint my cup of tea & stims for some reason don't go great with me, I get tweaked out really easy but I still want to give it a ride at least once before too much longer.

I'm pretty much the same Bodda,I enjoy tripping but some times I get fed up with it going on too long, that's why Dmt sounds appealing to me.
Used to love stims when I was younger and going out a lot to pubs & clubs but the older I got I found that I enjoyed downers a lot more.

The last long trip for me was just over 12 hours on the mescaline RC called Escaline, I done it a few times but had to really plan it out as it's a real long one & due to the way it makes time feel strange it felt to me like I was gone for 22 hours.

I know I owe you a PM, I aint forgot mate I will be in touch over the next day or two over it, thanks for the post today btw it made me smile, I did post a few times in there, it lifted me mood alot mate.
It's days like this I get a bit down in a way, makes me think of where I came from & my "real" parents, if they are alive, where I came from & the issues I had to go through in younger life etc. Not many know what I am on about but I know you do as I remember speaking to you about it.
Kind of gets to me still at this age that people can be so selfish in a way.

I'm out for the night folks, looks like Mrs Bodda V2.0 is going to meet my 2nd best mate for the first time which should be erm "fun"
Have a good 'un people :)

Thanks again Maxalfie, really touched my heart that did mate :)
Your a top bloke imo, peace :)
