here's a little sample of one of the plants i've recently pulled and dried - this is almost cured properly. i haven't manicured it at all and it's a lower branch so the buds aren't the cream of the crop but gives an idea of what i've grown just recently.

unfortunately no snaps of the plant before this one which shit all over it. nice big, tight nuggets. buds didn't need any leaf trimmed from them, was basically just little chunky buds all over the plant. my ideal type of plant and gets some of the better yields imo/e.

but now i prefer regs but hardly ever get em, so b/c of that i literally put like a hit or two n the end of a cig cuz thats all i can handle without gettin uncomfortably high

n also i dunno if you've ever grown your own but i got a plant to bud one time, it wasnt ready to harvest but the fence fell down n was in plain view for my neighboors so i pulled it, n what prmature buds i had i dried out n cured n smoked em, n they tasted shitty, the high was shitty but it was just the best feeling in the world. like im sure that feeling fades when you grow your own all the time but it was just such a gratifying feeling

it's just the way the shitty camera phone brings out the colours, though the buds are a particularly dark green in colour anyway. i know they're not the best buds as i initially admitted as they are cut from the bottom of the plant - so they're the shittiest from the whole plant and all.

exactly. you'd be surprised how manicuring buds can really tidy them up and looks 10 times better. you're right that they're outdoor too, johnny. i didn't do anything special to this lot while they were growing with such things as special fertilising and feeds, etc.

there's only tiny trichome action going on and by the time i trim it they've all been shaken into the bowl of shake which then get's cooked up.

^ Gotcha. I used to smoke Mexican brick weed that had to be cut using an actual saw from the pound/kilo because it was so compressed. Definitely do not miss those days.

I'm the same way man. I started smoking over the winter, back in like december when I tried to quit doing H. But I'm still such a lightweight, I feel you on the "uncomfortably high" part. Just a couple little hits is enough for me.

People want to smoke with me now and I always tap out after like the 2nd hit and let them kill the bowl. Then they want to spark another one like 15 minutes later and I have to remind them that I'm not the same as I was when I was fresh out of high school just out on my own smoking constantly for hours on end.
I'll but an 8th and it lasts me well over a month. And that's when I'm smoking every day after work

I haven't seen middies or regs in so long as everyone only smokes really good/strong nug here, you can't even find lesser stuff. I actually enjoyed all of the lower quality outdoor bud I found in Jamaica, it was nice to be able to sit there and just be able to smoke a fatty to my head without feeling like complete shit afterwards. Still really good smoke, nice mellow happy high. Just not out of control potent stuff that gets stuck to your hand (and you have to flick off your finger like a booger) that I am used to seeing up here.

Heh, for a good two years I had stopped smoking almost entirely save maybe once every 6 month or so. People used to act so surprised because they knew about my massive drug intake and couldn't understand why I hated smoking weed so much. I used to tell them "Fuck that I take drugs, I don't smoke stupid plants." Lol
