funny enough the only reason i had found it was cuz i had taken some methadone n valium before we went, n my dad was kinda given me the look like he could see it in my eyes i was on something, and he knows if im on opiates i wont drink, so he was feeding me beers ( i can only assume as a test) n would get 'the look' everytime i turned him down so i ended up drinkin a decent bit with him while gambling, then we ate at a restaurant in the casino. well after we ate (n he snuck a 24 Oz beer n on me while eating cuz he ordered it then said he wasnt gonna drink it but that i had to cuz he wasnt gonna waste his money) we went back to the casino n i was started to not be able to control my nods so i went off on my own n it was while i was off far away lettin the nods go that i realised there was 10$ in the machine next to me

you goin to vegas since your in LA or are there closer casinos to LA?

I'd be going to the Hustler Casino, which is in Los Angeles. To get there I would only need to take the 10 or the 101 to the 110. :D

It's only about a 14 mile drive away, less than 25 minutes in traffic.

I highly doubt there's reservations in Los Angeles County.

I don't know the legal logistics of it, to be honest. All I know is, I'm going to go one day to play black jack. %)

Gotcha, to each his own. I'm glad I only smoke cannabis/vape wax though.

I'm actually quite excited to go to the Hustler Casino though because I have worked real hard and have a considerable amount of personal savings. I also have enough money to get some new clothes, so I'm planning on getting a hair cut, shaving, getting some new clothes, then going out to gamble. %) Oh and, you get $30 in chips your first time showing up, and they give you free chips on your birthday each year. :D

After I do this I'll post how I did and how fun it was.

im a cheap ass, i could play penny slots for 4 or 5 hours on that free 30$, but i must admit i always want to sit down at the card tables, i just am too cheap n too nervous, everyone is so serious at the tables, i would wanna get a group of people n dick around on the table by ourselves cuz card players just take it way too serious, i tried to convince the family to sit down with me last friday when we were up there but the only completely open tables were BJ and my dad wanted to play hold em n mom n my sister didnt really wanna play cards

I completely agree; I would only go to the casino with $50 to $100 at the most. If I started losing money, I'd leave before I had nothing left. I have excellent self control when it comes to stuff like that. %)

I'd be going with a friend so I would have a great time.

man, mid way through last week i was high on morphine and valium chuffing down a cigarette and unknowingly dropped it as i went into a nod. i woke up to the smell of smoke somewhere but just couldn't find it. luckily i traced it down; i had dropped it down the side of my bed onto the floor where some crumpled up paper lay. luckily it was only smoldering and didn't ignite into fucking flames. i have such a bad track record when it comes to nodding out and burning holes in my clothes as well. at one stage just about every item of clothing had a cigarette burn in them. yes, jocks included. socks for all i know as well.

great nodding weather here so i'm doing just that and decided to throw in a little valium just then. it's overcast outside and there's been showers of rain on and off all day so i'm laying in bed wrapped up in my blanky as comfortable as one can be and looking forward to falling asleep when time comes. had essentially no sleep over the last 2 nights from taking a break from the narcotics to keep my script in check and did so albeit a little uncomfortable. the "comeback shot" was so totally worth it and rocked my socks.

also picked the head off one of my home grown trees today so it's up hanging and drying, getting ready to cure. i haven't weighed it wet yet but it's got a bit of weight in it so i reckon i should be able to pull a half oz to 3/4 of an oz from it once it's properly cured. it's smell really started to come on the last few weeks and is exactly the same as the same type of indica i grew last year so it's knowingly a winner already :D

It's a fair set of questions to ask.

How long have I been on Suboxone? 4 years, 9 months. It took me a while to calculate this.

I'm dosing 60mcg to 90mcg per shot, and have significantly cut back the number of times I do it per day. I also recently went 26 hours without Suboxone and was able to handle it well the entire time.

I plan to continue tapering although since I was using 130mcg per shot a month or so ago, I'm going to slow down my taper at this point since I have dropped down half way. I've only experienced mild withdrawal symptoms for about a week worth of mornings I'd wake up, only for a few hours each day. Then I felt stabilized after I got down to this level.

I find smoking a lot of weed really helps me in terms of reducing opiate WD symptoms without having to take more buprenorphine. I'm also able to take sleep meds/anxiety meds as needed, so I'm looking forward to a comfortable taper.

Part of me wants to make sure I'll always have buprenorphine on hand because I refuse to let myself relapse on heroin/full agonists of any kind (meaning not just a one time dosage but going back on heroin full time; this is what I would consider a relapse for myself; although I'm not interested in using heroin at all ever again), because I know how bad my life had gotten due to heroin and I refuse to let my life get that bad again. I've been working very hard to get where I am today and I have a lot of hard work left to do in my life, and I can't let heroin become a roadblock in my life.

But the other part of me really does want to be done with buprenorphine; I want to taper to low dose IM buprenorphine (am at moderate-low IV doses at the moment) and then quit when I'm ready to and have the right comfort meds and everything.

I'm hoping by this summer I can make a serious attempt at quitting.

Yes I'm IM/IVing, and yes I micron filter. Only way I would do it. I wouldn't bother with any other ROA for buprenorphine; I would get to a low enough IM/IV dosage, and jump off completely.
