I'm surprised I got a buzz from shooting cottons just a few mins ago. Even gave me a little rush. I'm not one to really shoot up cottons as I know of the consequences, but I do try and maximize the sterility every time I shoot up to help reduce the risks. Anyway, I'm enjoying it. A small little buzz is nice.
edit;
When I went to my PCP (primary care physician) to address my RLS and other sleep issues (which I learned later learned was PLMS), I had to first go through a few different medications before I ended up going to the neurologist where I started to receive medication that works well for me. I was first put on pramipexole, which I legitimately gave a try. Even though I saw some positive effects from the medicine, the amount of side-effects was ridiculous. I then was put on ropinirole, and felt initially that this medication may be the right one to help with my sleep problems, as well as increase my sociability and produce a solid anti-depressant effect. However, I ended up getting some reactions that prevented me from staying on them. After neither one of those medicines worked (almost two months later) I was referred to a neurologist that I ended up having to wait over a month before I could actually go in for my first appointment. I attempted to get my PCP to prescribe me some sort of typical sleep medication until I can see the neurologist. Unfortunately, and for who knows what reason, he felt there was nothing he prescribe. So I waited until I saw the neurologist. At that appointment I was put on clonazepam, which wasn't a complete fix. I had to deal with a handful more appointments and other meds/doses until 5-6 months after initially going to my PCP in the beginning. Some times getting the meds that work for you and at the right doses takes a little while, especially when it comes to benzos and opioids, the two classes of medication I ended up with for my problems.
I personally have found hydroxyzine to not be a very good tool for trying to get asleep/stay asleep. It can definitely be better then nothing and has less side-effects like grogginess than diphenhydramine or doxylamine, so if it was either that or nothing, I would be more than happy to get some.
