I know it's a normal bodily function but he takes the cake... We both eat a balanced diet and no he doesn't drink protein shakes.
Does anyone know if there's a dietary supplement or anything to reduce his stench???

Ask him to chew each bit of food 100 times.
He can break the food up in his mouth, since his intestines aren't doing a good job of it.

If that doesn't work, he may have an allergy.
Test for food allergies by cutting out one food group at a time.
Start with the most common ones: wheat, soy, dairy, eggs.

Does he do it often or are the farts just extremely stinking? When he knows one is coming, can't he go to another room to let it out? Problem solved?

I like your the tone of emergency that your title has. It's hilarious.

Most titles that start with with 'Help Me Please' end with 'I just IV'd 2 grams of meth in 32 hours and now I've been awake for 6 days. Am I having an OD' or even the classic 'I did ecstasy for the first time 2 days ago and I still feel like crap. Do I need to go to the hospital?'

but this one by far is the most urgent....who could ever stand your boyfriends gas. haha. Humorous.

It's an all the time thing...
Doesn't eat eggs or beans often it's just him!!!
I'm thinking of just shoving a butt plug in him :-)

Plexx22 I love your response :-)
lol I reckon his ass smells worse then an OD and id take any come down over his stench haha

100 times is excessive - 30 times minimum per full mouth.

Start food combining(trophology -the science and study of food chemistry) - don't know what that is? Most people don't. That's probably where your problem lies.

Also cut out pork except on special occasions, and don't eat beef or lamb much at all.

Also never eat snacks or meals less than 2 hours aapart - 4 hours apart is the ideal.

Excited say strtigecly place candles porpery and airisol around home and get to one quick upon realease.

Sometimes, a combination of carbohydrate-rich foods and meat products can really stinkify farts.

yup - as you'll learn OP - mixing carbs and meats (unless the carbs is VERY small amount) leads to putrefaction of the meat in your gut, as they use different enzymes and acid/base environments to break down both of those types of sustenance. Putrefaction = ROTTING! Hence the awful smell.

Also - how often does he eat meat?

very refreshing to hear someone else say that, was about to say the same thing. he simply makes poor dietary combinations of foods. foul gas/stool is an immediate sign of dietary complications and inefficiency, which are a large factor in widespread chronic illness. poorly digested food rots just like it does in your trashcan. you could take the first step and get him to take some probiotics.

i was an exclusive veggie/frugivore for a 2-3 month period a year or two ago. i could rip ass at work and no one ever knew (i work in an environment where people are often naked, smoke weed, and drink liquor, so no one is shy about kicking your ass if you fart or whatever).

i ate a massive steak, slightly seared, with a large quantity of raw organic kale last night. my diet throughout the day mostly consisted of vegetables, with some tofu ~10 hours prior to the steak. that probably wouldnt stink too bad, but i wouldnt risk farting next to all the female coworkers i sit 5 feet away from now. if i gave into my munchies and ate a bowl of cereal, id leave the bathroom smelling like black death tomorrow.

the health of your colon strongly affects the health of every other bodily system, and even strongly affects your emotional and otherwise neruo-chemical state. we each practically have a second brain in our gut. its best to give it a nice and lightweight environment to be in.

I second and third all the advice given above, I never stink, because of eating good combos of food. Another thing that can cause stench is poor spinal alignment, due to nerves and muscles firing in improper sequence. I hurt my neck last week in a bike crash, and instantly started to smell really bad. After a week of intensive chiropractic and massage therapy, it is becoming less and less of a problem.

My chiro told me that my messed up back and neck were causing an improper sequence of nerve firing. So if you change his diet (or he already eats healthy), maybe get his spinal alignment checked out?

I thought this had to be a troll thread. This is a bonafide thread?

In a drug forum?

Well you have been given the best advice by wise members. I wish you the best of luck.

Activated charcoal de-stenchifies and reduces flatus. Shouldn't be used chronically because it can cause absorption problems with quite a few nutrients and some meds as well. As an occasional emergency measure for things like airplane trips its a good thing for people with flatus horribilis to do.

Japanese have OTC fecal deodorizers because they can get very embarrassed about odors and such. Fecal deodorizers get used in nursing homes many places to help combat the effects of being warehouse of incontinent people. Fecal deodorizers are mostly chlorophyll by what I remember. Constipation and/or overeating are often causes of extra flatus. The worst malodorous emissions usually involve sulfurous foods like cabbage or hard boiled eggs. Exercise, adequate hydration, and maybe a bit more fiber could decrease intestinal transit time and decrease gas, however fiber supplement, especially soluble fiber like oat bran are likely to make things worse before possibly making things better.

Don't know where you are getting your numbers, but mine comes from Macrobiotic "dietitians" who studied at the Kushi institute.
Not that I believe in Macrobiotics, but I appreciate some of the philosophy - chewing food thoroughly, eating local, seasonal, and organic, etc.
They go nuts about chewing, and I have heard of a cancer "treatment" that involved eating only brown rice and chewing each bite 200 times. They recommend chewing until all food becomes liquid before swallowing.
Based on this, I decided to try it myself for a month, and did not find 100 times to be "excessive".
It helped my digestion tremendously, though.

Definitely good advice.
I have learned about food combining and had to change my life in some difficult ways, like not eating dessert or fruit with a meal in my belly, but the positive effects have been huge. Now that I separate carbs, proteins, and fruits/sweets as much as possible, I don't even have to chew a lot to have smooth digestion most of the time.

Also never eat snacks or meals less than 2 hours aapart - 4 hours apart is the ideal.
While I agree that having a few hours with an empty stomach between meals is very healthy, I also think that there is no ideal number of hours that works perfectly for all human beings.
Each person is anatomically, physiologically, and biochemically individual.
Therefore, the sweet spot varies based on these things, and other factors (such as what you ate in your previous meal).

lactose intolerance maybe?
Also I hear coffee can do that.

Your title seemed like you needed a answer and fast sorry but i Lol'd ahha
