@wiggi yeah fent is dangerous as hell. I kind of was shitting bricks at one point and was like damnnnnn I heard it was really strong but not THAT strong.... Stupid me for trying to think that. I'm happy no one came in on me when I was smoking cause they would of been pissed and I wouldn't have been able to lie my way out of that. I was so fucked up.

I got rid of them though last night. I was hesitant at first but I did it. I mean the high was good but the stuff is too dangerous.

Long story short- I don't give a fuck.

I don't think you're being a dick, no offense taken I see the point you're making. I made the conscious decision to stop using heroin (or any opiates) a month ago. I went through WDs and all the other fun associated with quitting. I still make an effort every day not to buy and or get high on opiates. So one night I used a little (much smaller dose than usual) oxy, and that was it. That's no different than your average person using once in a great while. I still consider myself clean because even though I did use that one day it is not the big part of my daily life that it was- I'm not in the habit of using it. That's how I look at it anyways.

I'm not trying to 'never touch it again" or anything, I just need to give myself enough time away from it to where I can go back to using casually/ recreationally a couple times a month like I used to.

Anyways whats everyone up to? how old is everyone on here? I'M 28.

I lost or misplaced my atm card and its been a couple days..it didn't really matter cause I haven't needed it so r I called and put a hold on it but it sucks cause I plan on coppin after I go see my PO tomorrow..so I have a bunch of change and went and cshed it in to see what I had and I had almost $120!! I nearly shit when I saw that..so no stressin about cash now

I'm probably the oldest regular at 30. Everyone else is anywhere from 18 up but, most regular posters seem to be early twenties.

Anyways I like the vibe in here lately guys. A lot of new people in here and we haven't had much trouble at all. Good shit

Edit-damn man that's a lot of change. That sucks about your card. You might actually have to go inside a bank.
 
Yeah I'm eighteen years old but I'll be 19 in September. Only started using dope end of 2011/2012 but been addicted to pain medication for awhile... Was heavily addicted to oxycontin and managed to get clean but slipped up. Then of course the whole dope is cheaper thing sucked me in but times are tough right now for me. I really shouldn't be using at all but I let the depression take hold of me. Moving onto heroin was pretty stupid but I knew what I was getting myself into. So far I managed to keep it in check but only because I cut people out of my life but now its back to being easy to get so yeah fuck my life :\ guess I need to throw my phone into the lake or stop hanging in bad places. I am working and getting myself into college so I won't have much time with idle hands.... Even some counseling soon so whatever I can do ill be doing it.
 
I know the horror!..my bank is closed in Thursdays that's why o cashed my change..if I knew I had tjat much I would have took it to my bank cause coinstar takes 10% but I honestly thought I had like 50-60$..not double, I could of had an extra 10$ goin to a bank

My bday is in Sept too..mines the 5th

I hate having to actually goo to the bank. It doesn't happen much but when it does it sucks. I prefer automation and I'm positive that we could do all out banking without tellers. I just realized a few weeks ago that I don't even have any checks and probably haven't for years. Everything gets paid electronically and when I got my dentist bill I was like oh shit how am I gonna pay these people? I ended up just going there.
 
I never go to the bank. I just use my debit card and atm's. I do use my phone to check my bank account though...
 
I'm 23, about to turn 24.

And yeah it sucks, when I finally opened a bank account after I was not allowed to for over 3 years, they didn't trust me enough to get an ATM card so I have to go into the bank and write myself a check when I need cash. It's fine though, I spend less that way anyways. Just take a set amount out and make it last for the week. Does suck though, I went to the bank on friday, then I left $120 on the counter at a rest stop on the jersey turnpike like 4 hours later. There goes this weeks money.
 
Why do you have to write yourself a check..couldn't you just use a withdrawl slip and save the check?

And why couldn't you have a bank account?

He probably couldn't have an account just like I couldn't for a few years. I was heavy into dope and constantly bounced checks like I was in a competition or something. Man that was stupid in hindsight but I was trying to maintain my habbit.

After I went to rehab I went to a na bank and explained my situation to the bank manager. I was surprised that he didn't judge me and let me open a checking account with a debit card. at first I could only take a c-note out a day and had to keep a minimun bAllanc.

After a while of being responsible the upped my withdraw lit to the max.!
 
I took a little over a week off from dope, so probably going to get high today and take another week off. I'm debating taking this little bit of sub I have, but probably won't unless I can't cop this afternoon, in which case I would be copping late tomorrow night.

No, withdrawl slips are only for savings accounts. For checking you have to write yourself a check made out to "cash".

I had run out of money and I was 2 months behind on rent. Landlord came looking for me and I didn't have any money (I was only making like $8 an hour at the time and working like 30 hours a week and was drinking every spare dollar I had, nice little low spot). I didn't want to fuck my roommate over and get us both evicted so I told the landlord I simply forgot and that I would have her money tomorrow. My account was already overdrawn and I had the "well fuck the bank for busting my balls all the time anyway" mentality. I went to the ATM and took the maximum withdrawl out of both accounts and just never went back. Then with all the fees and shit they wanted well over a grand from me so one time when they had their in house debt collection service call me I bluntly told them to suck a fart out of my asshole and that I'll be dead soon enough anyhow so good luck ever seeing your money again.

Needless to say, when you burn a bank they report you to some bureau that basically blacklists you from opening an account at any bank.

In hindsight it was really fucking stupid and I fucked myself. Not having a bank is more inconvenient than you'd realize. I recently just got around to settling for a couple hundred dollars and getting that shit cleared up.

You sound like me (and that's not a good thing) trust me man, if you have access to subs, quit while you are ahead. I know it's easier said than done, and your a man no matter what and make your own decisions, but trust me you still have a few years to get the point I'm at, I've been on opiates for quite a few years now, and I should have stayed clean when I got clean at age 20. But I didn't, and I'm almost 24 and I've spent A LOT of money on dope. And when I say a lot I mean I could have bought decently cheap house in CASH.

Yep happened to me as well, BUT the bank fcked me, I didn't stick it to them. Basically they charged me an overdraft fee on a charge they didn't pay out on. My car insurance was charged to my account and since I didn't have the money they couldn't collect on it. So what ended up happening was they didn't pay out, but STILL charged me an overdraft fee. which I found out is technically legal. My car insurance company attempted twice to put the money through (by the way I had like $15 dollars in the account) so with the 2 overdrafts they charged me $70. So now my account was -$55. So I went and bought a pack of smokes, and since it was 3 overdrafts in 1 day they charged me $75 for the last one. So now I ended up owing them -$140 and I told the branch manager that he was fcking retarded if he thought I was responsible for paying him.

I ended up not being able to open an account @ PNC, and bank of america let me have one but wouldn't let me get a credit card right away (even though I have decent credit) so it ended up being a hassle, luckily it all got sorted out. PNC wanted me to have a savings account for 3 months before they would let me open a checking... like what? I don't ever put money in savings, what the hell would I do with it? My savings stay hidden in my home.

I think that some banks allow you to withdraw from your checking account and have separate withdrawal slips for it. I always just used my debit card to take out money from the bank where I have my checking account, so I never walk past the front entrance or outside ATM to do that. I just saved the checks for bigger purchases of at least $100, so I never got past the 10 or so starter checks they give you right away, so I never even got a checkbook.
 
Yea my bank uses one slip but it has 2boxs and you check either savings or checking..
 
Hey whats up everyone

I dont know if this just was me but back in the day when i was clean off everything i started having these crazy life like dreams that i was getting high. I would wake up and really think i was high for a min it was hella nuts that went on for a month or so after i was able to sleep that is!
