motherofearth, you wear the look of disdain quite well! If that is how you feel the most like yourself, ultimately, that is what matters. If you don't feel like smiling—don't! You are quite the looker, and no one has the right to attempt to mold you to their liking. You are molded just fine already!

Overdone, you have a smile that somehow inspires me to try mine more often. I think our styles are similar somehow. Hope that ain't too weird. Stardust, I promise in vainglorious fashion to provide a photo saga, as long as you continue to make me feel good about it. N3o probably gets the prize for most encouraging person on this thread, or maybe ever. Sideorder, I feel like we should trade, like collectible cards, but one pic of you is worth 50 of mine - more from you! The two I've seen made my day, and I thoroughly enjoy how you write - brains, beauty, style, humor, you're the whole package. Swooooon.

As for being in a crappy place. My mindset and "place" range from being awesome to the pits by the hour. I've found a lot of positivity and acceptance on here and around these people (in TDS and Bluelight in general). I hope you can find the same joy coming online and to the TDS. It takes my mind off negativity a lot of the time and puts me in a better mood. It's really filled a void for me. If not for everything else in my life at least there is a place here for me to joke around and receive support. Much love to you <3<3.

the keys can be tuned in many different ways, it is unique like that, there are hundreds of ways they can be tunned.
they have been popular through out history to play while walking and traveling. In Africa they would be played to call
spirits and ancestors.



+ a mini-shaker, very small but very loud ! I can make a million sounds with this thing!

YES! The kalimba!! We had one too! The woowoowoo sounds only worked on a few of the keys. Such a fun little instrument. I liked it because it didn't take any talent to make cool tunes.

No they do not require musical ability ;) They are so relaxing and dreamy ~ I already want another, a more traditional one. I picked out a song I had in a music box from when I was a baby, a well as the main riff for Zepplins Dancing Days, and the PBS bumper melody...
