Hi guys, I have a problem.

I'm supposed to wipe a computer that is protected by an admin password. Operating system is XP professional. Here are the variables:

1.) Boot sequence is administrator password protected, but first drive in list is 3.5 inch floppy
2.) I don't have any floppies
3.) I have all of the original software in CD form, including manufacturer's OS disk
4.) I have a bootable USB set to mimic drive A but it doesn't seem to want to boot
5.) There are no other users
6.) Booting from Safe Mode still requires admin password, including booting safe mode with command prompt
7.) My OS reinstall disk is not popping up no matter what - I can't do anything without the admin password

I need to know how to do this. Youtube is useless - all of the solutions involve doing things that would be very easy if I had a guest user account. This requires special software or skill.

Please reply, as solving this problem will help me get a gig as this girl's co-star in webcam porn. She's hot. Thanks in advance.

if you're simply trying to reinstall the OS without saving any data, set the boot priority in your BIOS so that removable or dvd drive is before hard drive, then either use the USB drive or OS cd to format the OS partition

Hey blackskirt, I just pressed F12 and was able to bypass the BIOS set-up ordeal (which is password protected). I chose CD and am successfully booting from the disc. So easy! You had the right idea, though, I just didn't know it would be as easy as hitting F12 to bypass the admin protected bios like this. Ridiculous!

Installing clean Windows now.

^I've been trying to pry this 6 year old Dell open to jump the motherboard, but the screws are all stripped. Looks like solution worked.

You just need the F12 key and a bootable CD - totally bypass locked bios!

I can't believe I was searching all through forums, youtube, etc, and getting all of these complex answers from really smart people - a lot of them throwing up their hands in frustration and advising that he/she contact the seller for the password - when there is no third party software or motherboard shorting even needed! Just F12, and I had to figure it out by myself! With any luck, the google searches related to bypassing admin password and bios password will route here for a real answer!

Hehe. Glad I could help =)

To reset the bios password just remove the cmos battery for a couple of minutes.

except brute-forcing the LM hash won't work on PWs longer than 14 chars

I don't think I would want you fixing my computer if you couldn't get that far on your own :)
